Purple, know how you fell as Jackson has woke several times at 2-3am this week which he hasnt done in a long time normally wakes from 4-6am so now am doing an extra feed again as he wakes 2 hours on the dot after his first early morning feed grreeatttt!!! Just when I thought I was getting my zzz's back. Wish I knew how to bake a cake sounds like you got everything sorted hun?

Olivo defo good idea if your near the beach lucky thing! I had swimming lessons as a kid and am a string swimmer so is my DH so we are so up for getting Jackson in the pool as soon as poss but I need to check if the pool near us allows babies in before their jabs. Did you have to check where you are?

Micku fingers crossed for your little angel's appointment. She sounds like a little sweetie.

olivhohoho · 26/11/2006 19:21

BHM - the local pool said after their vaccinations - didnt specify which ones! we took dd at 10 weeks and told them her age - they didnt comment so assume it was ok! my hv had said it was ok.

eenysugarplumfairy · 26/11/2006 19:40

Just about to catch up on the thread but here is the pic of Alex... here

eenysugarplumfairy · 26/11/2006 19:55

Micku - Phew! I had a scare a couple of weeks ago as well but turns out it was the flu! I fainted and everything. I am already broody again and Sal swears he will never give me another baby! Good luck for Talia's appointment.

BHM glad you had a good night out with your DH. Sal and I are going out to dinner on the 8th of Dec and I am sooooooooo looking forward to it!

Well we got Alex for Christmas the push along dog I told you about before, the door bouncer, and clothes. I wanted to get him one thing (the push dog) that we could always have and someday my grandchildren could play with. And we dont have a big family so he wont get loads and loads of pressies from other people. HERE!! is a picture of the dog we got Alex. We got the second one down - the Large Sheepdog.

You girls taking your babies swimming are so lucky I would love to do that with Alex as I love swimmng but I am so scared!!! Think I may try it after Christmas.

Santamander · 26/11/2006 19:58

Are they climbing into the boxes, trying to be 'helpful'? Dd did that.

BHM - just need to clarify, that I'm only decorating a Tesco iced fruit cake! I haven't been that much of a domestic goddess.

PinkTinsel · 26/11/2006 23:20

sal, my dp said that too

purpleturtle · 27/11/2006 08:43

Hey, dreamy and luna, how are your mums doing? And how about you?

eenysugarplumfairy · 27/11/2006 14:10

Pink you tell him!

Hi how are you all today?

MrsChristmasboo · 27/11/2006 14:12

How do i post pics????? Want to show off too......

eenysugarplumfairy · 27/11/2006 14:13

Snow post in 'Member Profiles'

It gives you the option there to add a pic. It has to be 100mg or something like that so depending on the size of your pic you may have to make it smaller. if you dont know how to do that email me the pic and I will resize it for you, then email it back so you can post it under member profiles.

MrsChristmasboo · 27/11/2006 14:15

ah thanks eeny. brb....

MrsChristmasboo · 27/11/2006 14:21

Right, can't resize it. My brain just won't work today!!!!
Can i email it to you eeny please?

And i will catch up on the last few weeks tonight when boys are in bed and my feet are up!

eenysugarplumfairy · 27/11/2006 15:28

yes email it to me at senatorvass at gmail dot com and I will sort it out for you!

BigHotMama · 27/11/2006 16:54

Lol Purple, I'd lie and say I baked it all myself Still somethign I'd have never thought of doing though?

Eeny how was your champers last night?

Snowboo, hurry up with that piccy!

Well tonight is the night where I get weighed for the 1st time at Slimming World, I feel like I've lost weight so fingers crossed eh!

Jackson has just gone down to sleep without me having to stand and rock him bless! Hope I can start doing this all the time as my back is aching everytime I rock him, feel like I'm getting a bit of a hunchback lol!

Does anyone keep hearing their babies cry even where they aren't? Everytime I have a shower I'm sure I hear Jackson crying but when I get out he sound asleep? Must be going mad!

eenysugarplumfairy · 27/11/2006 17:28

BHM I hear Alex cry sometimes too! Its maddening! Oh and the champagne was lovely!

purpleturtle · 27/11/2006 19:40

Bad mummy alert: rather than hearing him cry when he's not, I don't hear him when he is.

eenysugarplumfairy · 27/11/2006 20:09

purple the mummy committee forgives you!

ronniemummy · 27/11/2006 21:26

Wow! I haven't posted on here for ages and it is sooo nice to hear how everyone is doing. The last time I had chance to read all the messages was when I was pregnant.

Everyone's babies are gorgeous- I can't believe that in Aug we were still eagerly awaiting them.

BHM- how did you do at Slimming World? I joined a couple of weeks ago and lost 5lbs in my first week. I lost my baby weight after the first couple of weeks after birth- but then ate so crappily for the first two months that I put o stone on again!!!

Hope everyone is still enjoying motherhood- I can't wait for baby No 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jingleboobs · 28/11/2006 06:20

good morning, how is everyone today? My neice came home for xmas from australia yesterday so had a nice get together to welcome her home at my sisters yesterday. It is lovely to see her again. My mums brother is still holding on bless him though for how much longer Im not sure. My mums health seems to be going downhill fast too Im really worried about her she is back at the doctors again today if she can get an appointment. All your baby photos are lovely I will have to get another one of Sophie jane done and posted.

BigHotMama · 28/11/2006 10:38

Purple your not a bad mom your just deaf

Dreamy sorry to hear things havent got any better with your mom, its awful to think what your going through and this side of smas aswell. Hope your mom gets better my fngers crossed here for you and your family x

Ronnie and Booby, I lost 5nhalf pound yipeeee! Am on a mission to lose a stone for crimbo now. How much you lost so far Ronnie? Good to hear from you chick!

Well Booby while you are dancing to Take that I'll be getting geared up for a girly night out planned for this Saturday night, it will be my first night out, going on a pub crawl then a curry and I've got a sneaky suspicion my sister is going to get me very drunk! Good job my DH is staying in to look after Jackson. I'm gonna have to 'pump n dump' as they say for the next day's feeds.

OK not sure whats going on with Jackson's sleeping habits but over this past week he's started getting up really early for his first night feed, gone from 5ish to 2ish??? So this morning I got up at 2.30, 5.30, then 6.30 he was wide awake chirping on to himself..arrrrrggghh! I'm totally shattered now, any ideas or tips on how to get him to sleep better? My dh thinks he may be teething and thats waking him up? I just dont know how to get round this problem?

Eeny hows Alex doing now?

eenysugarplumfairy · 28/11/2006 11:19

What did I do all day before I had a baby???? I cant remember. Sit on MN??

Dreamy I am so sorry your Mum is so poorly. I hope she gets better soon. Stay strong.

Well done BHM on the weight loss!!!! I think Alex might be teething as well.

Alex is doing really well thank you he is adorable and cooing loads!! How is Jackson?

I cant think of anything but Christmas!! this Saturday we are going to get the tree, put the decorations up and go to our village Christmas festivities, turning the lights on etc.

ALSO on Saturday I am planning on giving Alex a teaspoon full of baby rice!! HV has recommended it so we will try his new high chair out then.

Booby what's Chris doing in London?

How much time do your babies spend on their own?? If Alex is awake I am almost always holding him or playing with him. He VERY rarely sits on his own (like in his bouncy chair) without me entertaining him. I'm worried that he is so dependent on me but I dont know maybe this is normal???
