Hope everyone finds this and I haven't doubled up!

I've got really bad back pain and ds is spinning on his zebra crying. No idea why!

Spotty my phone obviously disaproved of my joke answer as it didn't post. But how about a favourite teddy, favourite book, anything Frozen, something from your holiday, picture of DS and the GP who look after her, something relating to favourite food?

Make it a box from DS' s shoes so it's small and you don't have to think of much!

A did a wee on the potty for MIL, so we have a sample. He seems much better. Except he is covered in spots!!

WLmum · 02/09/2014 21:12

Chickenpox beasty? Dare I suggest scarlet fever? After mine had it my mum heard a programme about its come back on radio 4

WLmum · 02/09/2014 21:21

hales I hope H is ok. I def think Ts better night is a result of shortening her nap. She was full of beans today after 10.45 hours last night and just 45 mins nap. I think tom I'll ask dm to let her have just 30 mins as we really need her to be in bed at 7 so I can concentrate on dd2 when she starts school. She was overtired from a sleepover with dm tonight and was a total meltdown.

PurplePidjin · 02/09/2014 21:39

Hope the ill babies are ok Wine

Barbeasty · 03/09/2014 06:51

WLmum we managed a sneaky trip to the Dr yesterday (I was dropping his sample off as DH was missing calls from the Dr, then she tried calling me but at home so I went to reception and asked if it would be easier for her to have a quick look rather than keep.missing calls).

She says not scarlet fever or hand foot & mouth. Probably just post viral rash for whatever mystery virus hurt his throat (which is clear now). Unless it turns into chickenpox.

And actually this wouldn't be the worst timing for cp. We'd already arranged to be at home if necessary the rest of this week when A's throat was bad, and I'm off the next 2 weeks taking DD to school. And we drop off/ pick up a little outside the normal times so could avoid other children if MIL couldn't have just for those times.

He's better otherwise. Little monkey tried to shut MIL in her under stairs cupboard yesterday.

halestone · 03/09/2014 14:51

H has been the drs and has another chest infection, on the plus side though she hasn't had one since the end of may.

Barbeasty · 03/09/2014 20:01

Oh no Hales hope she's ok.

It's my turn to work from home tomorrow with A. He's absolutely fine, except for spots.

WLmum · 03/09/2014 20:27

Haha hales
Glad he's ok beasty
Dd1 is excited about starting her new school tom. Bless!

halestone · 03/09/2014 21:06

WL i hope she loves her new school, how did T sleep for you last night?

Beasty, i hope A is ok for you tomorrow.

Beasty and Spotty when do your Dd's start school?

SpottyTeacakes · 03/09/2014 21:24

Dd starts tomorrow! I'm so busy atm I think I might have a breakdown of some kind. Car failed it's mot and cost us £240 although they missed something it should have failed on Hmm

Hope the poorly ones feel better soon!

Thanks hales. As it was her last day of holidays today I left them a treasure hunt round the house leading them to a kitkat each - apparently they loved it!
T had a brief wake and cuddle about 4 and then back to sleep til 6.30. Of course I couldn't back to sleep properly. She was only allowed a 30 minute nap today so she went to bed just after 7 without a peep. Fx she sleeps a little later too - I'm up anyway but she tends to run off and wake up dd2 (or shouts loudly when I have to remove her from the boob so I can get ready for work) who will need maximum sleep when she starts school next week.
Hope H feels better soon - has she got more anti bs?

WLmum · 03/09/2014 21:51

Don't have a breakdown spotty! Lists are your friend! Delegate a few tasks to dp too.

SpottyTeacakes · 03/09/2014 22:04

It's more running around which dp can't do! Eg Mondays school drop off, pick up 1pm work 1:30pm home with dc after 7pm Tuesday out the door by 6am work until 1:30 get ds then get dd at 3:10, weds school drop off, drop ds at friends go on course 15 miles away finish at 12:30 get ds get dd from school at 1 etc etc. I'm not sure how I'm going to survive, or afford all the petrol.

Spotty i bet you find a routine that suits you after a couple of weeks. I can see why its worrying you, but i bet it falls into place.

WL go T Grin

H has got more antibiotics its my own fault 2 full months without a chest infection and i was starting to get cocky. I have a stupid question though, obviously H uses inhalers as her breathing always sounds rubbish, do you think the Drs could be getting her asthma sounds mixed up with infection?

WLmum · 03/09/2014 22:55

That is stressful spotty but it will calm down when dd goes full time. Til then, deep breaths and full glasses!
hales I wouldn't have thought so - I'm sure they would sound different. But you could plead ignorance and go back after her abs and say she still sounds bad to you...

WLmum · 04/09/2014 06:32

Well so much for sleeping longer - she's been awake since 5.30. I finally relented and got up with her.

Barbeasty · 04/09/2014 07:39

DD had her first morning on Tuesday, then goes in again next week for 5 afternoons.

Although she said she didn't like it, she asked to go this morning.

A is fine, except for the spots. They're not raised, just red dots everywhere. DH is going to ask when A can go back!

Barbeasty · 04/09/2014 07:41

Oh and Hales I think the sounds are different. I know there's a specific sound they listen for when checking me- crackle or wheeze. They can hear where it's coming from too.

SpottyTeacakes · 04/09/2014 07:48

Hales if her inhalers aren't helping her breathing maybe she needs something additional like dd has. Since she's started taking these tablets her morning and evening cough has completely disappeared.

WL and Spotty how did dropping your Dd's off for their 1st day go.

Beasty, i hope you have a nice day at home today. And thats a good sign that your Dd wants to go back to school.

H's temperature has come down although still hot shes nit as hot. Last night was horrific with her i have no idea how often she got up all i can say was it was alot. Everytime she got up though she was highly agitated and either violent or very upset.

Barbeasty · 04/09/2014 10:40

I'm actually managing to work properly because nursery said that if A was feeling ok they'd have him back today. Half an hour later he was there!!

Hales is it worth going back to the Dr when she's better and asking for a medication review? It could be that she needs something stronger for the winter. I know people who just have inhalers through winter, and last year I had a brief discussion about upping my asthma meds in autumn/ winter if I get more chest infections.

WLmum · 04/09/2014 10:45

Brew for you hales. Dd1 was great - excited and confident, taking it all in her stride. I however, feel a bit bereft. Roll on 3.20!

SpottyTeacakes · 04/09/2014 10:49

I was late. And stressed. Dd went off fine Grin ds wouldn't say goodbye to her though he was really sad Sad

WLmum · 04/09/2014 12:19

I bloody hate school starts - just found out that all dd1s school uniform has to be branded - it didn't say so in the pack, on the website or at the school uniform shop. Luckily it's only 2 cheap cardis I've wasted but it's so annoying.
Dd2s first session on Monday is also a meeting session for parents - I assumed it was her 'first day' but I've heard other people saying they're not sending them in uniform as it's only a play session - well surely that's what all her 1-2 hour first week sessions will be. Again, no info. It drives me mental!

SpottyTeacakes · 04/09/2014 12:30

Dds school don't go down small enough in their branded bits Hmm so she doesn't have any. She also doesn't have any school shoes as I couldn't get any to fit with her insoles.

She did need wellies and waterproofs though which I forgot ah well pick up time in half an hour.
