I thought he was too old for a tilted cot but it has worked so well. Sleep, when you are expecting none is particularly delish!

Elizadoesdolittle · 23/04/2014 09:54

stunt in that case I think your DS2 was in contact with his friend when the pox is at its most contagious anyway so may as well go to the party. TBH I'd have probably gone anyway.

Thought we were in for a really bad night. Popped my head into E before I went to bed and she had literally just been sick. Not a reflux sick, proper loads of sick. Washed her, changed her and bedding and just as I was about to put her down she did it again. She didn't appear to be in pain and no temp or anything. After staying up for a while with her she wasn't sick again and slept till gone 8:30. she seems fine this morning so goodness knows what that was all about.

Having a I am a awful mother day

L can't go to nursery due to conjunctivitis, it's my last day at work before wedding and so he's at work with my mum (she runs a private school that isn't back yet)

I can't keep him at home as they have knocked the kitchen out and today taken the roof off. Always at once right.

Lily311 · 23/04/2014 11:13

You are not an awful mother pikz.

Right, this thread needs killing. But first is first, I need to have my lunch.

PurplePidjin · 23/04/2014 11:35

Stunt sounds like it's a bit pointless to avoid as you've seen them while he was infectious anyway iyswim

YW I remember having a cough and my mum tilting my bed with books, so I must have been 6+?

Pikz sounds like you've done exactly the right thing, sending him somewhere safe for a bit. Deffo not a bad mum!

Isn't Radio Rentals rhyming slang for Parentals/Parental Unit?

Give Stunt a chance lily we need a new fred to move to first!

Lily311 · 23/04/2014 12:03

You are right. ;)

Elizadoesdolittle · 23/04/2014 12:09

pikz I agree with pidj. You've done the best thing for L. Not a bad mummy moment at all.

Are we still killing? A lil early no?

Lily311 · 23/04/2014 16:10

I'm back. Lovely walk by the river. Saw a handsome guy walking his dog, unfortunately the dog wasn't interested in us. That's the second time we saw him and he said hello. Small success.

Lily311 · 23/04/2014 16:10

And I'm off for an outdoor run. Need to start training for the half marathon.
