Well said BP. I am pretty sure we would all donate our wishes if we could. You will have to settle for my prayers Thanks

My middle child has gone to bed age 3 and will wake age 4. Why do I feel so incredibly soppy about this?

persepolis123 · 20/04/2014 21:13

Oh wanda Sad Thanks

C is still up watching Toy Story. He's engrossed. We are pretty relaxed about bed times here. I tend to get him ready for bed when I spot the signs he's tired but the time can vary quite a bit. He will only fight it if he's not ready and I don't want bedtimes to be a battle.

BigPigLittlePig · 20/04/2014 21:15

Because she will wake a preschooler, not a toddler, VQ? Wink

Hiya Kyz, nice to see you back xx

Passmethecrisps · 20/04/2014 21:22

Puff the magic dragon?!? What is with that? On another thread and people are all talking about how sad it is. So I google it. Holy crappola. I am going to have to blow my nose on ageing pussy

YellowWellies · 20/04/2014 21:33

Smile OMG Fargo is fab!

PetiteRaleuse · 20/04/2014 21:43

Ooh what food what food PR?

Pass [tissues]

Stunt perhaps teeth, or indeed any one of a multitude of unknown reasons. I have found myself wishing again recently for a handbook. Fis being exceedingly velcro lately. She will point blank refuse to do anything for anyone else if I am in the room. And you would think the sky had fallen in if I dare to leave for the merest of seconds. I thought the separation anxiety was over with? or not due again yet? Confused

BigPigLittlePig · 20/04/2014 22:09

Someone slap me. Wtf possessed me to read a thread about a cat dying???

Wandathewindfairy · 20/04/2014 22:17

Dd1 thinks is funny. "Mummy. Why were you walking around In The middle of the night" " I was just checking on you all" " hysterical laughter"

We watched keek so keeky I dare not tell you!

vq yes is a milestone VQ. They is growing up Sad

Wandathewindfairy · 20/04/2014 22:28

Ha.

GTbaby · 21/04/2014 00:32

H is scared of the tiny bunny and chick wind up toys my sis bought him for Easter. We all laughed at him. Then gave him cuddles and did it again.

He also loves planes. Stops as soon as he hears one in our garden and looks up (approximately every 3 mins). He is a real boys boy already.

Blush I think I need to make more effort with H food actually. Might try a few kids ready meals.
The only fresh food he has is Indian. All other food is usually from a jar or ready made. Ie quiche , sausage rolls , fish cakes. I have given him croissant for lunch some.
I made pasta sauce bs froze it as my back up plan for lazy days. But I need to give him more variety and veggies. He is so hit and miss ATM that I feel like I waste so much. I don't want to go to the effort then he doesn't have it anyway Blush

GTbaby · 21/04/2014 00:34

Morning Grin

StuntNun · 21/04/2014 06:42

'Lo VQ. I am awake and J is asleep! Tiring him out in the park and the garden yesterday worked out really well. Today he is going on a miniature train. I think he's going to love it.

I ate three rolo mousses yesterday and managed to do so in front of the children by pulling faces and saying "oh that's disGUSTing" throughout the first one.

I have one left.

Also ate pulled pork for the first time - yum.

The rest of that meal was fab too.

As was the slowcooked leg of lamb and all the trimmings we had at lunchtime.

And the toffee crisp LO stole.

And the hot cross buns for breakfast.

All washed down with ginger beer. Yum.

Wandathewindfairy · 21/04/2014 07:03

Wowser stunt

Morning all.

Just a lively inquisitive girl pass will stand her in good stead in the future.

fruitpastilles · 21/04/2014 07:08

All sounds lovely pr

Happy birthday to dd1 vq hope she has a nice day x

S didn't go to bed until 9:30 last night and still woke up at her normal time of 6am. She had lots of wake ups in the night aswell, I've put that down to going to bed later and also teefs. She finally has number 5 and 6 poking through.

Passmethecrisps · 21/04/2014 07:19

Morneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeng.

Good news on the snoozathon stunt

fruit p usually always wakes along the same lines of time regardless of her night. Hope she is a happy girl today.

Weird night for me last night. I kept waking with an anxious feeling but for the first time in weeks and weeks and weeks I have no need to be anxious. Odd. Anyway. Have coffee now and DH is making eggs

I bow to your nom skillz pr!

PetiteRaleuse · 21/04/2014 07:25

LO was 18mo on Saturday. I forgot Blush

deepinthewoods · 21/04/2014 07:38

What is the 18 month sleep regression? I have never heard of it. I don't think ny children knew about it either as I don't remember anything resembling that . Is this a recognised phenomenon?

StuntNun · 21/04/2014 08:29

It wasn't a snoozathon last night, J was awake at 5:30 a.m. and screaming for a bottle as per usual. At least he went back to sleep for a while.

Happy birthday to dd1 VQ!

Fruit we've also had some bad sleep heralding the arrival of teeth 6,7&8 (including two molars) - I feel your pain.

GT were the chick & bunny from Tiger? I bought L and his nearly-3-year-old cousin those and they loved them! His cousin came running down first thing this morning shouting 'can we have the chick can we have the chick!' She is a bit of a whirlwind and has kept us all busy the last few days.

BigPigLittlePig · 21/04/2014 09:37

Morning.

Dh was dispatched to F when she woke at 1. I would think the whole road heard the ensuing tantrum(s). Still, I got to sleep better in my own bed Smile

Happy birthday ValiumPrincess xx
