Pass if P has ADHD so does L...

BigPigLittlePig · 20/04/2014 15:20

And F! That sounds like our shopping trips Pass. Only appeased by shovelling grapes etc in her mouth. Which is fine til my hands are engaged in packing.

Lily311 · 20/04/2014 15:22

So does O. She is bonkers outside

ChasingDaisy · 20/04/2014 15:26

O adores animals. He was stroking the TV when there was an animal programme on the other day. Taking him to a garden centre tomorrow to lo at the fishes and chickens.

Pass, you are the least judgey person ever. But I too would be concerned. O's cousin who is 12 days older than him, was veery slow to start eating properly, and XSIL didn't seem to have a clue. If I was still with XP I definitely would have said something. I think the red book approach is the best - I would guess that she feels a bit embarrassed and defensive about it.

Thanks all. I had my roast beef mellowing In The oven, and went to church by myself while it cooked. The ILs came over for the old roast beef and Yorkies then we walked over to next door for pudding. It worked out well. The fresh airer between courses was great. No shagging as actually have AF and all my aches and pains have now disappeared. So it must have been all to do with that.

Anyway, have put on cosy clothes and have a couple of bottles of wine waiting for when Boys are in bed and me and SIL are going to find some keek on Netflix. Any recommendations gratefully received as there is f all on TV.

House of Cards wanda

StuntNun · 20/04/2014 17:34

Watch 24 from the start Wanda, the first two seasons were amazeballs as my DS1 would say.

House Wanda.

Wandathewindfairy · 20/04/2014 18:38

I like House of Cards but I really mean KEEK! A silly silly film!

Oh you are all just too intelligent! How I love you.

YellowWellies · 20/04/2014 18:42

Fargo (the series) is about to start on 4 tonight and has rave reviews Wanda.

We've had AMAZING sunshine and warmth since Wednesday - its been a lovely bank holiday. Lots of outings and playing out. Jonas has really 'got' animals and the safari park, I think he's old enough for an annual zoo membership to be worth it. He's a massive dog fan too but calls them all 'Betsyboo' and has to be stopped from throwing a massive bear hug at every one he sees.

Jonas' cousins and SIL and BIL headed home this afternoon to a massive wobbling pet lip from the bear. Dairy free white choc easter egg took the edge off thank goodness!

He's off to nursery too tomorrow and DH and I are having a day together, most likely getting jobs done. Lots of nurseries up here are open tomorrow as in Scotland we get an extra hangover recovery day on the 2nd January to get over Hogmanay Grin and as a result only get one Easter bank holiday (officially its the Monday but some employers pick the Friday), we also get our August bank holiday at the beginning of the month not the end as the weather is usually better, and to confuse everything some cities have their own holidays (especially if you work for the banks or local authority).

ChasingDaisy · 20/04/2014 18:45

Is that the one with Martin Freeman YW?

YellowWellies · 20/04/2014 18:54

Yes Smile

ValiumQueen · 20/04/2014 19:01

Survived an afternoon at GPs, and J wore his suit Grin for about 15 minutes anyway, then I put him in his jeans so he could play outside. He is not keen on the tie.

The girls had 6 eggs each!!! Even J had two, (given not eaten yet you understand) I did not even give them ours - they will help pad out the party bags for DD2.

I am whacked.

BigPigLittlePig · 20/04/2014 19:01

Glad your day turned out ok Wanda - blummin' AF. Good luck finding a film for later, and enjoy the Wine

We're currently watching Britains got talent, keeping my eyes open for the future Mr Chasing Wink

ValiumQueen · 20/04/2014 19:21

The children were also given £60 (total, not each) so that will practically pay for their Safari Pass. I think that would be a nice thing to spend it on, don't you? The girls both have birthdays looming and J really couldn't care.

ChasingDaisy · 20/04/2014 19:25

That sounds like a perfect idea VQ Smile

Awesome YW, I shall be watching Smile

Pig, you'll know him when you see him. Bloody gorgeous he is Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 20/04/2014 19:40

That is a great idea vq

Just had a chat with girls, DD1 sounds quite low which is unlike her. Want to scoop her up and cuddle her.

ValiumQueen · 20/04/2014 19:41

Wanda Hmm Thanks

Passmethecrisps · 20/04/2014 19:43

I think that sounds like a perfect idea vq!

P got one egg from our neighbour and some little Lindt things from my sil. She had one little bunny at tea-time.

DH is now finishing off dinner. We are having a gammon joint with roasted veg. Umm numm.

I fancy the sound of Fargo but I find I can never commit to anything on normal telly box so I prefer on demand stuff. We are workongn our way through tréme which is fab.

Passmethecrisps · 20/04/2014 19:44

Poor wee soul wanda. Do you have any ideas what the matter is?

BigPigLittlePig · 20/04/2014 19:55

Oh Wanda Sad that sounds so hard. If I could have one wish for the quichelets it would be to reunite you with your girls.

Wandathewindfairy · 20/04/2014 20:03

Oh bp thank you thank you. Thanks personally, not big headed at all I think she wAnts her mummy. We did lots of knitting practice last week and I left mine at dads. She got my stepmum to cast it off and has taken it home with her. I have sent her Third Year at Mallory Towers ( and Maisie
Mae, No Boys Allowed for DD2) and hopefully she will perk up after a day out tomorrow.

She always has a home with her crazy mummy who goes and checks on her in the middle of the night and she knows it.

I think I will be looking at Fargo yw xx

PurplePidjin · 20/04/2014 20:08

Wanda Thanks

BigPigLittlePig · 20/04/2014 20:20

I expect so, wanda. Plus, she is probably reaching that tricky, starting to be a bit hormonal, age where you want to be a bit grown up on the one hand, and on the other, want a cuddle and a hot choccie with your mum. Also, nothing wrong with checking on them overnight. I for one intend to do that until F leaves home Grin

Kyz · 20/04/2014 20:46

Evening all, happy Easter :) hope you've all had a lovely one. Am feeling a bit better now and a bit less hopeless so will try to keep up if I can!
