There is a picture of my brothers age 3 and 4 running down the sideway away from the camera with not a stitch on Grin so very cute, but no doubt FB would ban it.

BigPigLittlePig · 17/04/2014 21:52

Evening quiche.

Hope pr arrived safely with minimal sea sickness.

GT gp my lovely. They will talk to you sbout the trend in mood, eg. are there more bad days than good? You have had a tough/busy year, plus with dh not always being 100% supportive, and The ILs...

Love photo canvases - was that a total surprise?

Um.

Am home safe. Had to stop once when F coughed so hard she puked. Then again for poonami, by which time we had gone through all the spare clothes Confused Luckily there were no other disasters. She has an awful cough. Seems worse than just reflux/teething. She's propped up well and drenched in olbas oil so fc she can sleep ok.

Other dramas.

I rescued a duckling from my grans cat. F nearly pulled its head off though which wasn't so good. Duckling (with head attached) now reunited with its family. Phew.

And I have conjunctivitis.

Trying to get organised for a caravan break this weekend. Near you cacacaz if you still read!

AlwaysRightNeverWrong · 17/04/2014 23:14

Hello flouncy Grin ooh I'm guessing next to the farm park?

I really must give up lurking and post wonders will never cease

Paisleychick · 17/04/2014 23:36

Hello ladies

It's Thechick here

I've been up and down the country the past week.
Went to Hastings and then to Yorkshire. It's been lovely. H is loving his new walking skill. Can't believe it's only been a couple of weeks that he's been doing it. He doesn't crawl at all.

Fatima I stopped bf when H was 14 months, around Dec time. He started to scrape his teeth on my boob and it really hurt. I wasn't ready to stop at all and it was all very emotional for me, but I found out later that that's very normal when stopping. Dh did bed time (he normally does bath time, but we swapped) for about a month whilst we all got used to the change and H was given cows milk mixed with expressed milk in a sippy cup, but now has all cows milk. I expressed for about a month.

flouncymcflouncerson · 18/04/2014 00:04

always right are you a name change I don't know about?? And yup,

Paisleychick random name choice?? That's my home town!

BigPigLittlePig · 18/04/2014 01:34

The next wake up has dhs name on it. Yawn.

ValiumQueen · 18/04/2014 06:14

Morning Smile I hope you got some sleep BP and that little piggy is ok x

PR was on the overnight ferry and has a drive this morning to get home. Hope it is going smoothly PR.

Flouncy, you are correct about the NC.

J was in with us from 11. He has a horrid cough too, as do I.

Wandathewindfairy · 18/04/2014 07:15

Morning!

fruitpastilles · 18/04/2014 07:31

Morning!
Another glorious day, and what does dp want to do? Go shopping in an undercover shopping centre Hmm

Yes bp a total surprise. It's my birthday at the end of the month, she said it's an early birthday present Smile

Wandathewindfairy · 18/04/2014 08:17

bp did you get some sleep?

Have you landed pr in time for a slap up full English?

BigPigLittlePig · 18/04/2014 08:23

Unfortunately that wake up was a bit of a mega one, so no, not a lot of sleep. Her chest is so tight sounding. I am full of cold, again, so must be a virus on top of her teeth.

Hey ho!

What do people have planned for the long weekend?

ChasingDaisy · 18/04/2014 08:25

Rubbish night here too, including a two hour wake up. Am shattered.

Today is my first full day with O in a month, so we are going to go to the park.

Wandathewindfairy · 18/04/2014 08:33

Have a lovely time chasing I really bet you feel you deserve a break this weekend.

Well, I think we have decided to stay about and finish planting veg. DH is not off today, his company take Tuesday off instead. I have done my crazy invite the whole family for Sunday lunch and got lots of treats at the supermarket to do some experimenting from Rick Steins India on Saturday.

I have invited the DNiece and Nephews over today to play homemade pizzas.

(Yes I have got over my bought of Envy and silliness )

As I am going to be away a lot over the next month or so any time at home just the four of us needs to be made the most of.

fruitpastilles · 18/04/2014 09:13

Managed to persuade dp that we needed to be outdoors today so we are en route to the seaside Grin yay!

Hope you and little pig feel better bp
Have a nice day with O chasing
wanda I can just about cook for the 3 of us let alone anyone else, you have super skillz! I'd get into a right panic.

ValiumQueen · 18/04/2014 09:13

BP does she need antibiotics? Poor little scrap and poor you ThanksBrew

Hubby is working today and tomorrow. DD1 and I are going on a little road trip to see a friend, then will collect the cherubs on the way home.

It is DD2s birthday on Monday, and mine on Tuesday, so quite a bit of prep to do.

BigPigLittlePig · 18/04/2014 09:33

Enjoy your day with O Chasing.

VQ I wouldn't have said so. I'm fairly sure it's just viral.

Thanks for breakfast Smile

ChasingDaisy · 18/04/2014 09:37

Am looking forward to the rest Wanda, but dreading spending the weekend alone. But the sun is shining so I will get outside.

Lily311 · 18/04/2014 10:44

We went cycling by the river this morning, it was lovely. Little girl is now fast asleep so I will finish my book. Sod the housework ;).

Wandathewindfairy · 18/04/2014 10:45

fruit is easy if it is Sunday lunch as really is just a bigger joint ( I tend to do brisket for lots of people as I pot roast it for about 5 hours on really low and it comes put all lovely and shreddy so easy for small kids too) and more spuds. I have asked MIL to do her apple pie and SIL to bring booze!

Can. Ow say I am very excited about my weekend with the boys, wine and crisps and beef and loveliness.

Wandathewindfairy · 18/04/2014 10:48

lily always sounds idyllic

chasing you have got your summer hair, you can eat cake and a bit of grown up time. A good book, take out coffee, cake park bench or table outside a cafe, watch the world go by, flash a bit of ankle at local talent. Enjoy. Is there any good tv on this weekend? Films?

ChasingDaisy · 18/04/2014 11:48

I'm taking myself out for a run tomorrow morning which I'm looking forward to. Just went for a lovely walk and a trip to the park with O. He loved it Smile

PurplePidjin · 18/04/2014 12:13

I've made a crab risotto thanks to the fantastic fishmonger on the market for tonight, and treated us to lamb for Sunday Been to the park this morning but stuck as to what to do this afternoon. Might just go back!

Wandathewindfairy · 18/04/2014 12:27

We will be taking the boys tea at the beach today. Might be a bit chilly but will be sunny and fun.

GTbaby · 18/04/2014 14:46

Going clubbing in central London. Leicester sq! I'm reliving my youth Wink I never went clubbing when I was younger
