I am going to Centre Parks all expenses paid by MIL in July! With her and the family obviously Grin

PurplePidjin · 15/04/2014 21:30

Watch out for bumsex VQ Wink

R doesn't do animal noises. But makes the right ones for Dragon and Car Hmm he did woowoo at dog once, and baba at a sheep Oh and Bubble for anything round, from an actual bubble through stuff like apples and balls to the logo on the back of an Audi Hmm

ValiumQueen · 15/04/2014 21:32

Bumsex? moi? Grin

Passmethecrisps · 15/04/2014 21:36

P meows. Slightly concerningly she sometimes meows when upset. Like crying but meowing. I think she thinks she is a pussy.

She also has been a bit slappy. Only with DH and I when being held up. DH and I drew gasps in a French supermarket when we both yelled 'no!' And she was firmly plonked on the floor for a stern word. It was the second time she had done it within a few minutes. And actually I don't think she has done it since. She was also a bit pinchy but only with me.

She still loves a wee poke up my nose. I thought she was going to hook my brains out!

I have decided that once this course of abs is finished p is being weaned off her dummy. She is becoming more and more dependant and it is telling that the clearest word she says is 'meemee' which is dummy. She will get it for bedtime as long as she likes but day time has to stop.

PurplePidjin · 15/04/2014 21:40

New shop opening downstairs YAY but why the fuck are they still banging and hammering and drilling? Angry can't even get down there to tell them to shut the fuck up! It's shaking the house!

PurplePidjin · 15/04/2014 21:40

Will save me a fortune in heating come winter though :o

ValiumQueen · 15/04/2014 21:44

Nostrils to a toddler are like holes to a bunny.

Elizadoesdolittle · 15/04/2014 22:10

my friend's 3 yr old kept asking for her dummy whilst we were out today. Fair enough at night time but I think children of that age look daft with dummies. My sister had hers at night time till she was 6 Shock I don't know what my mum was thinking!

BigPigLittlePig · 15/04/2014 22:41

Evening.

Hope poorly babies and mummies are on the mend?

Temperature has persisted today, I suspect teeth. Again Hmm. Am sleeping in the spare room tonight with her, at my parents, as I suspect there would be total hysteria if she woke up in an unfamiliar place. Dh is all alone in a king size bed Envy

VQ hols sound lovely!

Pidj that isn't good. Aren't there rules about that sort of shit? Hope it all goes quiet soon.

FC for tomorrow for dh please quiche - he's expecting a call back for a job on a dairy farm I know I know, the irony which would be ideal. Me and F are off to see one of my bestest friends on her pig farm, to inspect lovely little piggies, then to another old friend who's sheep have had lambs Smile

Passmethecrisps · 15/04/2014 22:57

Fingers all crossed. bp!

My dad worked as a relief dairyman and a stockman for years. He is dairy intolerant and allergic to cow hair/saliva! Still enjoyed it if a bit wheezy and occasionally pneumoniay

StuntNun · 15/04/2014 23:38

I'm at my mum's after a late flight with the three boys so I haven't had a chance to catch up. GP's firstborn had reflux so he was practically an expert, gave me three tins of Neocate and a packet of omeperazole and told me to come back next week so he can find out if it worked! I'm to start the Neocate first then the omeperazole a bit later so we can tell which one is effective. I promise I'll catch up later. My mum absolutely cannot believe I'm not eating dairy! She's convinced I'm going to waste away to nothing and made a comment about me being all skin and bones as if it's some fad diet that I'm on. I waved my wobbly tummy at her and that shut her up. Blush

'Night quiche.

H is rather liking scratching at the moment and his nails are super sharp.
Fucking scary. A few seconds looking the wrong way and bang. Not sure if it was intentional or he was trying to give A a toy but then dropped it? He is very loving towards him. Only slaps/pinches/scratches me. Although he has also become more affectionate towards me recently.

Kyz · 16/04/2014 00:28

I haven't read yet but I've just lost her (the baby rat). Stings a bit am howling like a baby

ValiumQueen · 16/04/2014 01:05

Oh no Kyz Hmm I am so very very sorry Thanks RIP little Quiche Rat Thanks

ValiumQueen · 16/04/2014 01:09

J is awake, I expect you guessed that. Likely teeth but deffo refluxy. He is an angry puppy and I am not overly chuffed. He has had PCM, biscuit, drink, bum changed and nothing is helping. Grr!

ValiumQueen · 16/04/2014 02:03

Over two hours now.

Kyz · 16/04/2014 02:57

Oh no vq hope he sleeps soon! With a bit of luck he is asleep now? X

Thankyou for your lovely words. It's amazing how something so small can affect you so much.

Lily311 · 16/04/2014 04:10

Oh no kyz I'm so sorry. You are truly awesome and that little rat was so loved. Rip.

FatimaLovesBread · 16/04/2014 06:11

Oh no kyz poor rat

PetiteRaleuse · 16/04/2014 06:21

kyz I am so sorry to hear that Flowers

Sorry about your bad night vq

LO was up a couple of times before midnight again but then slept through. Dr said her bottom gums were about to burst though so dunno if it is teething or regression. Whatever, it's not too bad.

I got a 6 hour stretch of sleep. Havn't changed anything from other nights I think DD 1 was just knackered she didn't budge all night Hmm

StuntNun · 16/04/2014 06:46

Oh Kyz I'm so sorry to hear that. You did everything you could to save her and at least in her short life she was warm, well fed and safe. Poor little baby rat. Thanks

ChasingDaisy · 16/04/2014 07:03

Oh kyz I'm so sorry. You did your absolute best though and little ratty would have felt comforted and safe Thanks

Pikz · 16/04/2014 07:21

Oh Kyz.

VQ can sympathise. Hour and 20 for no good reason here. Did the same as you

ValiumQueen · 16/04/2014 07:42

Nearly three hours in the end. I am fucked.

Kyz I hope you managed to get some sleep.

So glad you got a fair stretch PR Smile
