How much were the probiotics?

StuntNun · 28/03/2014 11:54

£14.72 for a 30-day supply VQ. J has had diarrhoea for five weeks now since his tummy bug so I think he may need a bit more help to recover.

VQ looks like we are in the same boat. I've now got the runs and managed to shit myself running from bed to toilet. Sadly I wasn't wearing pants.

Even more sadly, the dog was extremely interested.

The only sad part is I was in the bathroom. So at least it was an easy clean job.

Oh god.

I hate being ill. Mortified.

TheDetective · 28/03/2014 12:03

I meant not sad. Fuck it. I'm very sad. It was all sad. I've made it back to bed with no further accidents though...

O returns shortly with DP. I hope he isn't full of beans and has a 3 hour nap. Pleeeeease.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/03/2014 13:42

Good luck with the last BF stunt

Hope everyone's bottoms dry up det and vq and all the rest of the shits posse.

I have just recurled my hair for tonight's hot date (thinking if I do it at the beginning of Os sleep and it looks shit I have time to redo it) and realised I need to go out in the wild winds to get the sticks to make the fires up. Stupid woman.

Toddlers this morning was at a local soft play. We had the whole soft play to ourselves and they serve Starbucks coffee in there. (Remembering the nearest costa or Starbucks is 45 mins away so this is a big treat) anyway we had a lovely time and I have made a really lovely friend at that toddlers, that I like a lot. She has boys too and her older boys go to the school I have applied to for Ds1. So that always makes me feel happy on a Friday.

ValiumQueen · 28/03/2014 14:36

That is good Sophia x

Det it is too early for solid food let alone sausage rolls!!!!!!!!!!

I have another interview, for a promotion in my specialism this time. The grade I was previously. Feels good Grin

I still feel awful, but J is much better thankfully.

TheDetective · 28/03/2014 14:54

I need sausage rolls!! I have to have them!

I need stodge. Reeeeeally need it! I think the worst is over. I hope.

I don't trust my arse though Hmm.

I am now at the point where I feel worse for not eating.

Have kept drinks Pepsi down. Yes. I'm a bad patient. Grin

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/03/2014 14:56

I would love a sausage roll. Think I will just go and peruse the menu for this evening and make my choices.

ValiumQueen · 28/03/2014 15:04

Dry toast Det, once the symptoms have eased. And Pepsi? You should be on water, working up to diluting juice. Tut tut tut Wink

PetiteRaleuse · 28/03/2014 15:27

The last gastro bug I had was so cruel. It made me hungry and soooooooo thirsty. But couldn't keep anything in at all. Ended up putting water in my mouth and spitting it out it was the only way I could stave off the thirst.

Yay for another interview vq

Hope you have a lovely evening soph

PetiteRaleuse · 28/03/2014 15:28

mmmmmmm sausage rolls. First thing I buy in the UK is a pack of M&S sausage rolls they are my guilty little secret. Driving up from Folkestone last year me and the dog ate a whole pack :)

ValiumQueen · 28/03/2014 15:43

I like Greggs although could not even sniff one at the moment. Iceland do the frozen ones and they are awesome. Also the cheese and bean pastries.

I am just about keeping sips of water down. I am feeling very sorry for myself

BigPigLittlePig · 28/03/2014 16:27

Well for variety it is my nasal passages that are affected. Not even a smidge of air can pass through them. And my sinuses/ears are fit to burst. I went to work. Then got sent home. And now am being plagued with generic texts and calls for help to fill the rota Blush

Brew < lemsip might help.

Det nice tohear from you. Sorry about the, er, circumstances. It did raise a smile though (sorry). Something to do with the image of the dog Grin

Go vq with all your interviews! Hope dhs job is ok, you don't need the added worry of that.

Sophia I am Envy of your date night. Food porn later please!

Stunt ((hugs)) 16m though, v impressive! Hope J is better with dairy free etc.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/03/2014 16:31

Of course! I am thinking of having Scallops followed by mallard but I may change my mind and go with a good old rib eye!

BigPigLittlePig · 28/03/2014 16:34

You can keep the scallops but will gladly share some mallard.

ValiumQueen · 28/03/2014 16:40

Duck. Must be posh if they are not calling it duck.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/03/2014 16:48

I don't know. All the people I know who have been there have gone on girls nights out Confused and someone who went for Sunday lunch. Is above a really dubious looking pub. I think it looks dubious but it probably isn't. Places are not what they seem here, you really have to look past the signage etc and give things a go

ValiumQueen · 28/03/2014 17:25

Perhaps they call it Mallard as they pop down to the village pond and pinch a couple for the freezer. I look forward to hearing all about it, and I hope you have a lovely time.

flouncymcflouncerson · 28/03/2014 17:44

I misread signage as sausage... Made things interesting!

ValiumQueen · 28/03/2014 18:12

I had a look at that PR and it quite upset me. So similar to my experiences.

ValiumQueen · 28/03/2014 18:14

I have been in bed most of the day, and DH is coping really quite well. J keeps getting a temperature, but calpol is sorting it quickly.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/03/2014 18:19

That's why I thought some of you could help vq Flowers

ValiumQueen · 28/03/2014 18:26

Yes PR, when I am in a better frame of mind I will pop over.
