FFS what happened there? Awaiting the story to unfold, that is not right. Why she was only on This Morning arguing with
Katy whatshername about attachment parenting the other day and seemed so together and confident etc.

pikz I can so empathise I bet you feel like your waist band is too tight, nothing is ever right when that is the case a bit bloated, uncomfortable and irritable like it' sale bumbling up inside. Come here and have chocolate (pmt chocolate calories are void don't you know? Like airside calories)

AIBU leaning my Mother's Day cards still up to collect dust?

ChasingDaisy · 07/04/2014 18:47

I just heard it on the news. I feel utterly sick. Her poor babies.

PetiteRaleuse · 07/04/2014 18:56

Her poor children. She seemed to have got it all together after a difficult childhood :(

Lily311 · 07/04/2014 18:57

The news really hit me. 2 more babies will grow up without a parent:(.

fruitpastilles · 07/04/2014 18:59

Awful news, her poor boys Hmm

ValiumQueen · 07/04/2014 19:08

RIP Peaches x I remember when you were born Hmm

Zamboni · 07/04/2014 19:17

RIP peaches. Poor, poor boys.

Big love across the quiche with a special squeeze for lily.

PetiteRaleuse · 07/04/2014 19:17

Don't worry vq I remember too... And when her mum died.

BigPigLittlePig · 07/04/2014 19:55
Sad
Elizadoesdolittle · 07/04/2014 20:16

I feel desperately sad for Bob Geldolf too. Just can't imagine what he's now going through. Awful news.

ChasingDaisy · 07/04/2014 20:43

It's very sobering how one life can affect so many people.

BigPigLittlePig · 07/04/2014 21:07

I often wish there was a way of totally isolating oneself from the news - stories like this are so sad and prey on your mind, it is the stuff of nightmares. For her parents and babies.

Totally changing the subject and perhaps raising small Smile - F did a shart on a potty tonight.

I hope everyone has had ok days, it has been super quiet the past few days on here.

Wine for all xx

Pikz · 07/04/2014 21:15

I'm super grumpy. Sorry.

ChasingDaisy · 07/04/2014 21:17

Stuff like this never affected me before O.

To change the subject again, anyone watch the programme Undercover Boss? The company I now work for was on it a couple of years ago so I'm watching it on 4od. Really fascinating and quite fun to see my office and my boss on TV Grin

ValiumQueen · 07/04/2014 21:24

J is asleep in his big boy bed Shock After 45 minutes of rapid return (and it was fucking rapid I tell you. Little darling must have been put to bed well over 100 times) he is now asleep like a proper little boy, head on pillow for the first time ever, duvet up to his chin, and snoring like his Daddy and no doubt thinking his mummy doesn't live him any more

He was in Nursery all day too

ValiumQueen · 07/04/2014 21:26

The cot and bedding will be listed tomorrow. I felt quite emotional dismantling it, remembering vividly how I felt when I first assembled the cot for DD1

BigPigLittlePig · 07/04/2014 21:31

Thanks VQ. Photo of your boy? I was looking at the toddler bed which is under our bed earlier and wondering what happened to our wee babes.

ValiumQueen · 07/04/2014 21:43

I daren't take a pic for fear of waking him Confused

He is much better being off the Nutrimigen. He did a fair bit of yowling this evening and previously he would have vommed, whether well or unwell. Not a drop tonight

I think I need to see the dietician (he has been unwell since his appt 5 weeks ago) and ask her thoughts, whether something in the Nutrimigen was hurting him. I will also ask her if he should/can have skin prick tests. Does that sound sensible? I am drinking a big fat glass of rosé so will go before I start posting about bum sex and other VQ style sex things WinkBlushGrin

BigPigLittlePig · 07/04/2014 21:56

Sounds sensible as ever. The dietitian bit, not the bum sex bit. Which nutramigen was he on? Glad there has been no vom

ValiumQueen · 07/04/2014 21:58

Bog standard, not AA. Asked for AA, but was told I was being silly. felching

PetiteRaleuse · 07/04/2014 22:08

You would be perfectly reasonable to ask all the questions you like. And demand answers after all this time.

YellowWellies · 07/04/2014 22:10

Bog standard nutramigen 2 contains trace (admittedly hydrolysed) dairy. I think nutramigen 1 bog standard contains trace hydrolysed soy. (Has he been on 2 or 1?) We've been trying to get Jonas to take the bog standard nutramigen 2 but 10% of the most severe CMPI cases just can't tolerate it. If that's what he's been on I'm so cross you've been forced to give it to him despite him reacting to it Shock . Glad to hear he's happy on Koko - here's to a milk that doesn't make him vom! Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile about time too f*cking paed arsewipe

We've painted the dark orange paint on our lounge wall. Sunglasses are needed but the fugly black with lime green hideous feature wall is history! Whoop! Grin

ValiumQueen · 07/04/2014 22:15

Bog standard Nutrimigen 2 since 6.5 months old. On 1 prior to that.

YellowWellies · 07/04/2014 22:39

I bet he's been puking from the dairy! Poor sausage! And you've possibly had months of utterly avoidable sleep deprivation Shock Shock Shock ShockShock Shock Shock . Can we form a brigade of quiche heavies to come and educate the fcking doc who prescribed a baby with a dairy allergy a milk with fcking dairy in it Angry ?

applepieinthesky · 07/04/2014 22:45

Happy birthday Isles

The 'for sale' sign has been moved thank god. Must have been drunkards after all.

I have decided, as long as the finances work out ok, that I'm going to college in September to do an access course then next year will be starting a degree in radiography. I have enough UCAS points to start this September but I haven't studied in so long I think an access course is a good idea to help me get some confidence back.

Heartbreaking news about Peaches Geldof Sad My biggest fear in life is leaving my boy behind when he is too small to remember me.
