:o at hip typos

I was wondering when your girls would be coming soph yay, not long now :)

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/04/2014 08:55

I am going to them iyswim. I am going to my dads and staying there from Sat till Tues. The boys are staying with DH Shock so I will get some super dooper quality time with them.

However, something that is nice, my DF is on Hols and returns home about 02:00 am on Sat. My flight arrives at 08:00. So my only other retained school friend, apart from the one I mentioned yesterday, is picking me up from the airport and we are going for a leisurely breakfast and gossip before she drops me off at my dads at a reasonable time. I collect the girls mid afternoon. Yipppeeee. Can't wait now. Work issues can fuck off.

PetiteRaleuse · 07/04/2014 08:58

Oh that sounds perfect!

fruitpastilles · 07/04/2014 09:13

Haha love the typos soph and yay for you seeing the girls soon! I bet you absolutely cannot wait!

I am waiting for my tesco shop to be delivered, them I'm taking S for a walk. We've not been outside for a week as she has had a nasty tummy bug. Well, I left her at my mums for a couple of hours on Friday to go to ikea, we bought another expedit. We now have 2 in the living room, I am in love with them and I keep looking for places to put more around the house. I blame the quiche, I had never even noticed them in ikea before Grin

Pikz · 07/04/2014 09:19

Yay for hip typos.

It takes an hour ish if the motorways are ok. Longer on a Monday.

I really don't want to be at work today as I've not done half what they want me to do.

Also think I have pmt, even though it's MIA. It better turn up soon.

Lily311 · 07/04/2014 09:49

Trivial question? How the heck do you keep your house clean? And how often do you clean? I just did it this am but with o in tow it took me double time and I just hear her emptying her snack bowl on the floor. Confused
I have a cleaner once in every 6 weeks but inbetween it's so hard.

Elizadoesdolittle · 07/04/2014 10:24

lily with great bloody difficulty not helpful in the slightest.

PetiteRaleuse · 07/04/2014 10:33

lily my house is never completely clean. I hoover every day, mop anything from 1-6 times a week depending on weather, and rarely dust. The kitchen has to be spotless once a day before I cook the main meal. And toys have to be cleared away every morning by 8.20 as I take the girls to nursery and leave the dog on his own for 20 min and he gets destructive.

YellowWellies · 07/04/2014 11:02

I have a cleaner for two hours on a Friday - she gets the house lovely and clean for the weekend and we slowly trash it during the week. I only clean loos / hoover as needed. Keeping on top of the washing and cooking and baby and dog fills my days. It's the best £20 a week I spend and was my treat when I returned to freelancing. I'm saving up ££££ at the mo so I can keep the cleaner and a couple of nursery sessions a week for Jonas to try to keep insanity at bay when the baby arrives Confused .

fruitpastilles · 07/04/2014 11:05

I try and get as much done as I can while S has her nap, I try to have a quick razz round when she has gone to bed aswell, but more often than not by the time she's bathed and in bed I'm ready for bed myself so don't.

Lily311 · 07/04/2014 12:12

Happy birthday isles!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/04/2014 12:30

isles happy birthday. Cake

I Hoover everyday after tea. I clean my kitchen everyday around tea time and completely clear up after every meal, and put everything away or In The dishwasher. I mop about 3 times a week ( should be more). On a Friday I have a concerted effort in the afternoon to go right through downstairs for the weekend. I swish and swipe our en suite and the downstairs loo everyday and cLean the main bathroom about once every two weeks. Upstairs gets a Hoover and a dust once a week. Our bed gets changed once a week, Os when needed and DS1s about every third week.

This is not going to happen while I am back and forth over the next month and so I will do what I can when I can.

Playroom gets tidied about twice a week and not hoovered enough really.

PurplePidjin · 07/04/2014 12:30

I turned the monitor off and we slept in till 9 Blush

Love the hip hop typos bruv Wink

My house is filthy. I don't hoover very often, although sweep the hard floors downstairs every day and don't wear shoes upstairs. Disinfect high chair and kitchen, keep on top of the dishes, that's about it

Went to sling meet this morning, borrowed a size 2 wrap so I can play with ruck-under-bum carries and wear it as a scarf too. Love love love so far!

YellowWellies · 07/04/2014 12:51

Pidj the rest of you feeling guilty for 'only' mopping every day make me feel faint!!! Confused

milkyman · 07/04/2014 13:17

New to this thread but just wondered if anyone else's dc has started hitting in frustration? ds does it to me when hes frustrated. its usually a shove in the face Hmm

PurplePidjin · 07/04/2014 13:20

Oh and I bung bleach down the loo every few days while R splashes himself clean in the grimy bath Hmm

PetiteRaleuse · 07/04/2014 13:24

muddy long haired dog, no place to shut him to dry off, open plan house... means the house needs regular mopping. Well the main kitchen/sitting/dining area and corridor do.

BigPigLittlePig · 07/04/2014 13:29

Yep same dog ishoos here pr. Grubby beast.

Pidj that thread made me Grin - just what I needed after my last night shift until the next lot in 14 days

Happy birthday isles Cake

Sophia your trip sounds great, glad you will get to spend some time with your big babies. Do they sleep at your dads with you?

Currently tucked up in bed with my lovely little piggy asleep on my chest, contemplating a nap myself. We have the gp later, to ask for 2nd opinion about the reflux. Am bricking it. Bit scared I might cry in the gp Confused

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/04/2014 15:31

bp yes we all kip down at dads! I was thinking I should have taken DS1 with me this time. I hadn't organised to do it that way as having the four kids at home is a joy but I. Someone else's house with nic nacs to be honest it is just a bit stressy. But actually Ds1 is growing up now so it prob would have been ok. I will take him with me next time I go over there.

milky welcome. Sorry no hitting in the fairy house yet Hmm

YellowWellies · 07/04/2014 15:57

Hmmm having a dark hardwood kitchen floor means I can't see doggy footprints - if I can't see them they're not there right? Grin Hmm

Just back from consultant appointment at the hospital - they've decided I should be under midwife led care despite the prem risk with a reappraisal after my 20 week scan. Hurrah! Smile Smile Smile Smile

PetiteRaleuse · 07/04/2014 16:19

When is your next scan and will you be finding out if she's a girl at 20wks

YellowWellies · 07/04/2014 17:57

We've got another 12 week scan on 17th April to do the nuchal fold test get better pics than you can get at 9.5 weeks. Then I think the 20 week scan is the end of May. We're going to stick with not finding out as last time I loved finding out from DH when Jonas was placed in my arms. Smile

Lily311 · 07/04/2014 18:17

I Hoover every day and tidy everything but don't clean often. Today I just had the urge to dust and mop but it's so hard with O. When she is asleep, I sit down, I need to recharge.

I bought another clarks doodles today in charity shop. Brand new for £1.50.

Pikz · 07/04/2014 18:32

So sad about peaches. Two very small children:(

Pikz · 07/04/2014 18:33

In other news... Late period... Negative test this evening...just turn up god damn it
