Oh blimey, kyz! I misread your last line as the cat was dead! A dead car is very annoying indeed but a dead cat would be very sad.

And in my haste to wash all the blood covered things belonging to sil earlier (I was wearing a dressing gown and there were towels dripped on and a face cloth used to mop up p's face) I have managed to remove all blood stains but dye everything bloody blue thanks to the world's smallest pair of jeans in for their first wash.

I have tried stain remover stuff but everything still looks blue. Just checked and the robe is white company and the towels expensive. Literally, bloody Nora!

PurplePidjin · 02/04/2014 21:32

Colour Catcher sheets? Don't let the stuff dry out completely I think, then wash again with the sheets and possibly no powder...

BigPigLittlePig · 02/04/2014 21:38

Oh dear Pass Sad Hope P is ok. No doubt she'll be back to her usual mischief in no time. Bad luck about the fancypants dressing gown.

Kyz that sucks. Any idea what's wrong? Expensive dead or not too much?

Pidj I hope the sad face wasn't due to job? Enjoy your Wine

Stunt, F had a dreadful reaction to 2oz of pepti. They insisted she tried. She didn't eat a single bit of solid food for a week after, andher reflux was ungodly.

Last night was ok in the end, I had to settle her at 10, then didn't hear anything til I woke her at 8. She was chatting in her sleep - "mumumum" Smile

This evening, dh was on bed duty, as I didn't finish work til 8. Guess who was still up at 8.30 on my return? Wee madam. She clearly was waiting to see my reaction to dhs tea - supposed to be sausage and cider casserole, but he decided to wing it as the recipe was too complex. The fpllowing ingredients were used. Sausage, carrot, potato, onion. So far so good. Lentils. Sage and onion stuffing?! Random herbs Confused ... was not too bad but not what I was expecting!

Passmethecrisps · 02/04/2014 21:50

Thanks pp. I will try those tomorrow. The stuff I have bought is more of a return to white rather than remove errant dye. I have priced the robe and towels and it will be about £100 to replace. Doh!

Anyway.

P is fine so at the end of the day that is all that matters.

Quiet day on here. Hope you are relaxed after your interview today pp

Lol @ sage and onion stuffing in the casserole bp! That made me giggle

PurplePidjin · 02/04/2014 22:32

Yes, Sad at no new job.

I have cheered myself by crocheting 4 rows of Cock's head and drinking Wine

It's very pretty but I can't see any cocks, doodle-doo type or otherwise Hmm

BigPigLittlePig · 02/04/2014 22:46

Cock sounds good Pidj!

Sorry to hear that job was a non-starter.

PurplePidjin · 02/04/2014 23:01

It doesn't help that it's green

ValiumQueen · 02/04/2014 23:38

Again. Vomit everywhere at 9.30 after settling at 7. No cough, no shuffling, just the gush of liquid followed by spluttering and howling. Cannot settle. Sleeps for moments, then thrashing about.

We are now up in the lounge and he has downed a full cup of juice. No wonder, he hasn't eaten for 8 fucking days.

How am I meant to cope? How am I meant to function? How am I meant to go to work full time and care for my other two children?

He has had a good day. Just a light diet, no fever, good nap at lunchtime, formed poo, happy in himself. I dared to think he had turned a corner. So is this reflux? The bug must be gone by now. Is it something more serious? The last bit to come up was solid mucus, so it could have been that sitting there causing a blockage. He may be ok now that is shifted.

DH thinks we should stop the Nutrimigen as that contains soya, albeit hydrolysed. He thinks it is the common denominator and he is big enough to do without it now. I am inclined to agree. I am fed up of washing fucking bottles anyway.

ValiumQueen · 02/04/2014 23:40

Pass, sorry about the injury and damaged clothes. Hopefully both will soon be fixed.

Kyz, sorry about the car x

And Pidj, sorry about the job. It sucks Hmm

ValiumQueen · 02/04/2014 23:42

BP my hubby adds lentils to sausage casserole, but never tried it with stuffing. Was he trying to thicken it? I don't think lentils work as it all comes out a bit slimy, textures don't work together IMO.

BigPigLittlePig · 02/04/2014 23:51

Yes the texture was, erm, odd? He is v Blush that I shared his culinary experiment. I am surprised he thought I wouldn't share! I habe suggested that next time we go through the recipe together before hand.

VQ I think your husband might be onto something. The vomiting is not not not normal. I would also be back at the gp demanding answers. He may have had a bug, yes, but J has been puking for yonks now and he and you deserve a listening ear and some answers. And you are right, it is virtually impossible to function on the level of tiredness you are currently at Thanks

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 00:08

Thank you BP x

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 00:23

And now the diarrhoea is back.

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 00:58

Just asleep. How long for?

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 02:27

Up since 2am with DD2 who is very very hot and sore. O.M.G!!!

Lily311 · 03/04/2014 04:59

vq I'm so sorry, I can't believe that the illness is still in your house. Agree with bp, pls go back to the gp. I wish I could live close to you and give you a break. (((Hugs)))

GTbaby · 03/04/2014 06:07

Vq hope you have both managed a lil sleep. Thanks

PetiteRaleuse · 03/04/2014 07:42

vq that sounds horrific ((((hugs)))) I really hope you got some sleep.

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 07:44

Two hours if that Hmm Thank you for asking though. And Lily that was very sweet of you Thanks How is the leg?

Pikz · 03/04/2014 08:33

< flies to Scotland >

< takes all 3 kids and puts VQ to bed for a week >

Big hugs

YellowWellies · 03/04/2014 08:37

VQ I concur on back to the docs, even for reflux this is extreme. I also think moving him onto koko might be worth a shot as your DH suggests. Argh you poor things Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad . If there's anything us haggis quiche folks can do please shout - we're just up the road xxxx

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 08:47

YW do you think it is reflux then? He is going onto Koko whether he likes it or not. I am too close, and tired, I just cannot see what is happening.

Elizadoesdolittle · 03/04/2014 09:00

pp sorry about the job.

kyz boooo to car woes.

vq yikes. I agree, back to the docs sounds like the best plan. I can imagine how frustrating you feel. It's so hard when you have no idea what the problem is.

Taking E for a weigh in this morning. Not holding out much hope. initially I really wanted her to be signed off but actually in my heart of hearts I know she isn't ready. it will mean being transferred back to the care of the consultants that we were in hospital under (different trusts) but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. We have a follow up appt with SALT in a couple of weeks so I hope some light can be shed on the lump issue.

flouncymcflouncerson · 03/04/2014 09:00

I was going to come on and complain about my night but after reading about yours vq mine seems an ok one Sad Sad

I'm supposed to be taking J to a baby swim class at our new sports centre but my friend I'd normally go with hasn't let me know if she plans on joining us as is normal. I don't know whether to go on our own or not. I'm not sure I can face it!

Js godmother is coming over at lunchtime. Well I'm going to collect her but still. Then have Gp to discuss what counsellor said on Monday.

Going to visit my friend and her baby tonight, she's 6 weeks old so Dh and I will be fighting over cuddles!

Lily311 · 03/04/2014 09:09

Leg is fine, thanks for asking. No pain and I can now walk around as usual. Going home today, it's nice to be taken care of but I need my own flat:).
