Oh vq I am amongst the scores of us who wish they lived neared to you and could offer a helping hand. Back to the gp with you for sure. Thanks

Sophiathesnowfairy · 03/04/2014 09:16

Glad you are up on your feet again lily good job, that is quick heeling! but make sure to take it easy and not over do all your good work. Xx

Sophiathesnowfairy · 03/04/2014 09:17

Off to to the supermarket and to purchase some hay for my scarecrow! At least it will stop O from climbing up absolutely everything for a couple of hours Hmm

BigPigLittlePig · 03/04/2014 09:47

I am in a grumpy mood.

The whining dog is not helping Angry

Hope the Brew does something.

VQ Thanks

YellowWellies · 03/04/2014 09:56

VQ my refluxer has never been a puker so his symptoms are out of my comfort zone TBH. My sister's boy was a puker but by this age he'd outgrown reflux and only had mild CMPI. I think it could be reflux but there could also be something else going on - maybe another intolerance? maybe the osophagal scarring Eliza was talking about last week? Or something else entirely - but whatever it is he needs to see a good doctor. Either way he's not right and it suggests his meds, diet and milk might need looking at again. Poor loves Sad . Thanks

GTbaby · 03/04/2014 10:44

Flouncy I was coming do exactly the same at 6am.

Lily glad you are feeling better. It was a vein removal wasn't it? How does it look? Or is it too soon to tell?

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 10:47

Feel free to moan away guys. It is not a pissing contest. It might cheer me up to know you guys are sleep deprived too Wink

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 10:48

Thank you YW. Funny how my J is a puker but a porker, and your J is a non puker yet dinky. Blush

PetiteRaleuse · 03/04/2014 10:52

Can I have a (lighthearted) moan? I got up early to iron DH's shirts this morning (it's the only ironing I do and I am here full time pretty much so no excuse not to) and he just phoned and asked if I had mopped the floor yet Hmm

I know he was only saying it to piss me off but it worked.

StuntNun · 03/04/2014 10:55

VQ my J is a non-puking porker!

Does anyone else with a
Poang chair have a problem with the cushion easily coming off? Please tell me is not just me. O does have the fancy to stand on it lean over the back hold the cushion and slide down. Ha ha. Very funny O. I will just reattach the cushion for the 500th time today [wearing thin emoticon]

PurplePidjin · 03/04/2014 11:56

VQ if I were you I would be seriously considering camping out in A+E until they fucking well do something. It is not acceptable for them to just abandon you. You are an experienced mum and an intelligent woman - not some flaky little kid whining to get out of her responsibilities Angry

For comparison, R has only once puked more than a mouthful. In his entire life.

Sophie get some sticky velcro? You can buy it by the metre in haberdashers :)

Passmethecrisps · 03/04/2014 11:58

Afternoon.

Weirdly for p she had a poor night last night. DH went in because she was shuffling. I suspect he knocked her sore tooth trying to put her dummy back in. 2 hours we tried to resettle her. She would seem asleep then PING! As soon as she went back in the cot.

She ended up in with us which was interesting. At one point she surveyed us both pretending to sleep with great interest before stuffing bedtime bunny under my arm and saying "aawwww"

Eventually she fell asleep but managed to take up the entire bed and most of the duvet.

She has just gone for a nap now very reluctantly. Again, asleep until she is laid flat on the cot then hysterics. I suspect she is just a by thrown out by all the excitement.

Good luck with the weigh-in eliza. I know what you mean about knowing that really, she needs to stay under the specialist care at the moment.

vq I hope you are alright this morning. I suspect that kook is the way to go and also wonder about another allergy or intolerance. The amount of mucus he has seems very unusual.

sophia how are you feeling today?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 03/04/2014 11:58

It already has one line of Velcro. Maybe I need more Hmm

Passmethecrisps · 03/04/2014 11:59

sophia ours stays attached fine.

PetiteRaleuse · 03/04/2014 12:02

Pass could she be upset by the two time differences in a row / different surroundings? LO had a couple of bad nights following her lip tie incident a few weeks ago. It remains vulnerable for a while - she did it again a few days later!

Lily311 · 03/04/2014 12:05

O has never ever vomitted. Thankfully.

No idea how the leg looks like as I can't take the bandage off till Saturday. I just hope it's not ugly anymore, it was only one vein removed but it's been causing troubles for 24 years. They didn't want to touch it till I gave birth but hopefully it's gone now. I want to wear skirts without leggings.

O's face is a bit swollen. She had her last molar coming through last week so I'm guessing it's one of the canines? She was also bleeding overnight from her mouth but I can't see anything inside, her pillow and mouth was bloody.

Passmethecrisps · 03/04/2014 12:07

I think that is it pr. Her mouth is obviously tender as she is refusing most solid food but the very easiest to eat. She has been pretty clingy as well so I think the whole thing has just been a bit much.

I have also decided to knock giving her moo milk on the head for a while. She has had more poor nights since going half and half than in a very long time. And also here I have no idea what we are buying!

PetiteRaleuse · 03/04/2014 12:11

Proper full fat fresh milk is in the fridge section near yoghurts but is such a tony section it is hard to find. it has red tops though, or sometimes gold if you want the microfiltered posh stuff from Jersey. Do you have enough formula to get you trhough the trip? If not I can possibly look up the equivalent for you?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 03/04/2014 12:14

I feel positive today thanks pass . Wee P could always just have so much whirling round here head about her Hols, and like pr says! time changes! new surrounding. Sure tonight will be better. Xx

Poor old O. That sounds a bit aggressive lily .

We now have hay. So this afternoon after Os sleep we are going to the charity shops to try and find a hat and maybe some overalls. A head would be good. Not sure on what to use for that.

PurplePidjin · 03/04/2014 12:32

Soph papier mache on a balloon? Varnish a pumpkin?

I am also feeling positive. Vvvdf has had some good news, I had 4 at music this morning so made a profit, my friend has had her baby (6lb8 at 36 weeks) and tomorrow my other friend has her 12 week scan and is treating me to "nice lady things" in the afternoon to celebrate possibly involving some kind of facial - R is going to my mum's to play from nap till tea :o

PurplePidjin · 03/04/2014 13:10

Did I kill the fred?

YellowWellies · 03/04/2014 13:11

Pass poor P hope she's feeling better asap. I can't but help wonder if the pressure to move from expensive formula to cow's milk comes in part from concerns about NHS budgets. As a BF we were told very much to keep as we were and not try to wean onto nutramigen or cow's milk until at least 2 even if symptoms seem to have resolved. Hmm I hope her sleep is better tonight. Sleep deprivation on holiday is pants. It is at any time. I go quite feral when sleep deprived Blush

Sophiathesnowfairy · 03/04/2014 13:36

ppplease share your good news on fb if needs be. Dying to know how tngs are going. Xx Thanks

Well the scarecrow is actually going to be scaring crows so am not sure a paper mâché ballon would cut it. Pumpkin possibles, I am going to pick up a pillowcase I think and I can stuff that with some of the hay see if that does the trick.

As you can tell I am quite excited about this. the boys are I am also making pebble insects at the mo and I am excited about them too.

ValiumQueen · 03/04/2014 13:39

Pics on FB Sophia. We are all pretty excited too Grin
