Hello everyone, have recently started posting again, so hello to any of our old group.
How is everyone finding having a 6 nearly 7 tr old?

I am still drinking Milo and still have an addiction to Tunnocks tea cakes

I now have a DS who is 3
DD1 is now at secondary school and making me feel old

I saw my last infant school nativity today. It was lovely

dd's birthday party today. Wish me luck

It all went well. She is so excited about her birthday tomorrow.

She has had a lovely day but in a big parenting fail I just found the '7 today' badge I bought for her. :(

Life is so hectic at the moment I feel like I am treading water.

Sorry went AWOL. Life went insane.

My job is now going either end of the year or feb, still not sure which, DH job going April. Trying very hard to stay calm and repeat it will all be ok.

I need to book DD2 birthday party, she was one of the last on the 3rd of Jan.

I had to miss DS first nativity at per school on Wed cause of work, am feeling rather :( still and trying to console myself that neither DD remembers what I have and have not been to.

That's tough weirdbird. will finding new jobs be tough or ok?

Oh dear we have got very quiet again!

I am super busy. Ds1 the final December 2006 baby was 7 on the 11th Jan. Can't believe how big he is! How big they all are. Ds1 is fab, a little know it all swot who seems to think it is his job to piss his sister off parent his sister. But fab. He has shot up so he is rather less of a midget these days but still just a bag of bones. Funny, caring, clever, lego obsessed, geeky, cuddly. Love him to bits. His head still smells almost as strong as it did when he was a baby. The others don't, not even little ds2. I wonder why ds1 does?

I'm coming to the end of year 1 now so I'm manically busy trying to get my file done for assessment of placement and then revise for an exam. Then I'm done done done and will have a couple of weeks of actual holiday before year 2 starts with no assignments to be done. Woohoo!

My mum got diagnosed with cancer recently. She is having a hysterectomy in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed they don't find anything too unexpected. I don't know what I'd do without her.

Need to go see GP for myself I think and get my iron checked. Getting breathless just going up the stairs .

I have a lot on at the moment as I´m sure we all do...my Mum has Alzheimers and is getting steadily worse...she has locked herself out of her flat this week and lost her bank card (again) only this time the bank have frozen her account as they have come to the conclusion she no longer has mental capacity...I am powerless to do anything from here and I really am at a loss as what to do next...feeling very stressed at the moment, sleeping badly and constant headaches which are bringing me right down...

So sorry to hear about your Mums bebespain and Indith. Both situations must be a real worry.

I am so sick of us all being so unhealthy. Virus after virus after virus. Cant wait for some sunshine...
