MM just wait for the test as that will be the only thing that can convince you and make you feel better. hugs

GingerBeerAndTinnedPeaches · 14/09/2013 12:28

Wow. Good luck with poas mm

How would you feel if it was positive?

GTbaby · 14/09/2013 12:29

Mm have you done the test yet?
Think it's sensible to do one tho. And as you say the pill didn't work.
And FH and I only did it once the month I got preg this time.
Sry. That isn't reassuring is it?

Just pee on the stick and all will be fine.

Ps love the tent/wigwam thing! Thinking I may make one nxt summer...

GingerBeerAndTinnedPeaches · 14/09/2013 12:34

I'm not concerned about the actual nursery, just this one employee. The nursery is well known in the area for being brilliant - it is ridiculously oversubscribed. They seem to prioritise people from the villagers. Lucky we moved here when we did, we hadn't even factored that into our move. It's a state run nursery btw, not private. We pay but it is quite heavily subsidised.

I think she is not suited to the baby group. Apparently the last few years she was in the toddler group, and I guess adjusting to babies is hard. No excuse but I will keep an eye on her when I am in and out. LO is treated like a VIP there as she is finding it so hard. So much so that my self soothing angel now likes to fall asleep in our arms. Like when she was just born. It's sweet but she is so heavy.

BigPigLittlePig · 14/09/2013 13:35

Does anyone else have a jack-in-the-box baby? I put her down in her cot, lying down. By the time I'm at the door 1.5m away she's up and shrieking. She is tired. I know she is. So why does she keep springing up all lively and upright??

PurplePidjin · 14/09/2013 13:46

Lunch for 4 babies after tomorrow's christening:

Beef sausages (12 quarters)
4 jars chicken and veg mush
1 pack organix carrot sticks and 1 pack tomato stars
Pack of breadsticks
Pack of baby biscotti
4 bowls/spoons/sippy cups

Plus sandwiches, crudites which we'll keep out of ear shot etc from the grown up buffet.

What have i forgotten?!

GingerBeerAndTinnedPeaches · 14/09/2013 13:58

Maybe cut some hard cheddar type cheese into sticks - LO loves that. And some fruit. Sounds great as it is though :)

applepieinthesky · 14/09/2013 16:09

mm have you done the test yet?

YellowWellies · 14/09/2013 16:15

Hello lovelies! MM POAS!!!!! Shock

We've been spending too much money on DIY stuff today and converting half of the back lean to / sunroom into a big puppy run so Betsy dog has somewhere safe to be left when we're out / at night without being able to wreck the house and torment the cat. That's the plan anyway! How long til she's sleeping on our bed?! Smile Grin

I'm off to meet my cousin's newborn tomorrow who seems to be already showing CMPI symptoms Sad. Yey for newborn cuddles but boo for the family curse. Am bringing over a dairy free shepherd's pie for them to pop in the oven. I was so thankful for the lovely home cooked meals pals brought round when we first took J home. Have also bought a quiche approved star blanket for the wee one Smile .

Kirrin · 14/09/2013 17:28

well done J and R - keep it up guys :)

good luck with POAS MM
If you're crazy then I am too. I have the coil but will be POAS'ing later as I have convinced myself even though its sooooo unlikely. bloating - check, random nausea - check, constipation - check.

enjoy newborn cuddles YW Hopefully the CMPI will be mild, if it is that - assuming there is such as thing as mild CMPI??

ChasingDaisy · 14/09/2013 18:51

XP dropped O back off at the flat today so I said he could come in for 5 mins to see the flat. Hated every second of it. Feel like he's tarnished it. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I hate him. I have been SO happy today, really felt like I am finally living my life properly, with lots to look forward to and I hate that he has made me feel upset.

Passmethecrisps · 14/09/2013 19:22

Light a candle chasing. Get some nice girls smells. Some tea lights and fairy lights. Exorcise the fucker.

And big

Kirrin · 14/09/2013 19:27

hugs chasing He has seen the flat now. He never needs to see it again, so do what Pass said and exorcise the bastard, then never let him darken your door again. Thanks Wine Cake

Passmethecrisps · 14/09/2013 19:40

Has mm poas yet?

And yes it was ff we were at. Dib Dib Dib! Good fun and great to get to know the kids but blimey it was cold!

CM just texted to ask if we would like her to take p 5 days a week for the next fortnight until DH gets this fucking thesis in. Thank goodness for that! He has been working 16 hour days was all set for the same today. So, night off tonight.

ValiumQueen · 14/09/2013 19:46

Dib dib dib Grin

Missed me?

Jacob is loving nursery after a very dodgy first week, he is crawling and standing like a pro and I think will walk very soon, he is eating much better and sleeping much better of late, he is biting lumps out of everyone and his 4 new teeth are still causing grumps.

I am waiting to hear if I got the big promotion. The fuckers were hoping to tell me before the weekend but alas that did not happen.

PP did Tax Credits take back that lump sum they deposited in your account?

Passmethecrisps · 14/09/2013 19:49

Woot woot vq! Hoorah to you being back! Sounds like j is being a champion superstar. Does he like his pea protein desserts?

ValiumQueen · 14/09/2013 19:51

BP they are hard-wired to practice these new skills until they have it off pat.

Oh yes, forgot to say my MIL has jaundice. I said she did and nobody believed me. She thinks it is her gall bladder. I sadly think it is a bit more serious. Gut instinct. Usually right Hmm

ValiumQueen · 14/09/2013 19:53

He would happily bathe in them Grin I however think they are beyond vile. It was lovely seeing you, even so briefly the other day. And everyone, Pass looked both professional and hot in her power suit! I was dressed for a change, but covered in snot and vomit as usual.

Passmethecrisps · 14/09/2013 19:56

Blush Grin gotta be working a power suit. Not so power with bits of peanut butter on the cuff but hay ho. Was fab to see you as well Valium towers looked happy and buzzing.

And by the way. That sign at the end of your road, just off the roundabout? The coffee bean looks like a sperm. Check it out next time. You will find I am not wrong

ValiumQueen · 14/09/2013 19:57

Oh, and I had my hair cut short. Not as short as I want it as I wanted a sweeping fringe to hide behind in the interview, so will get that whipped off soon.

I did PowerPoint. I remembered to breathe. Get me Grin

Passmethecrisps · 14/09/2013 19:57

Oh and fuck to jaundice. How long has she had it? Sounds pretty horrid.

ValiumQueen · 14/09/2013 19:58

It does look like a sperm. I think that every time. You are not wrong.

You called in the middle of the witching hour. You are brave. J was screaming, I think B was in just a nappy. I am just grateful DH had his pants on still.

PurplePidjin · 14/09/2013 20:01

Chasing sprinkle salt by the doors then go round banging a wooden spoon in a saucepan and shouting. Wards off evil spirits :)

Welcome back VQ no, they just sent 4 letters telling us we were getting everything from nothing to 2.5k Hmm

GingerBeerAndTinnedPeaches · 14/09/2013 20:16

Welcome back vq :)
