ANOTHER fight with DH on why I really don't want him to go out and drink at a hockey game that resulted in me confiscating my computer like a small child who won't share b/c I'm mad. That'll teach him. Bastard.

bringonthetrumpets · 21/09/2013 05:46

So on top of the fight with DH (who is now drunk passed out on the couch bastard ) DS2 has puked in his bed, in his hair, and all over the floor.... wait for it....TWICE tonight. I really really rarely say things like this, but, honestly, FML tonight.

Frus ~ did he drop off soon after writing your post? Hope so

Bring~ really feel for you. I would be going bonkers if that was me in your situation. I really hope he makes it up to you today in any way he can Smile

Lib ~ glad to hear one of us is in control!

Baby pear wasn't too bad in the night. He went to sleep at 10:30 and woke at 3. He did a small solid poo that kept him awake for another hour and then he finally went back to sleep around 4:30. Sadly he still woke up for his 6:30 feed and now will only sleep on me. We will get there!!

FrussoHathor · 21/09/2013 08:08

pear ds was asleep. It was dd2 that wouldn't go to sleep. I feel terrible this morning

Ugh I'm with the terrible, dd2 has a cold, she woke at 10 just as I was going to bed and had a feed I foolishly hoped maybe she wouldn't wake again as we gave her calpol and she's never had it before but she was snuffling and awake all through the night and then woke for a feed at 5:30 then dd1 woke up at 6.30 before I'd fallen back to sleep Hmm my eyes hurt
Bring Thanks it always happens when it's just you to deal with it, dh has alot of making up to do, hope you got some sleep and poor ds is ok

Well done baby pear!

I'll gladly take the Wine and just pour it in my Brew and chug. Sorry for my stupid o'clock rant. So cranky today. DH is cheerful and acting like nothing happened Hmm

Sorry kitty Sad Poor baby kitty too.

FrussoHathor · 21/09/2013 21:05

How is everyone feeling tonight?

OP posts:
bringonthetrumpets · 22/09/2013 02:13

I gots a cold Urgh.

Was just thinking that this time at this very moment last year, there was a teeny, tiny little thing just beginning to grow in my belly. Amazing what the span of a year will accomplish.

FrussoHathor · 22/09/2013 07:02

Yeah bring I keep thinking that.

Can one of you tell me if this is normal? Since we started weaning 3 nights ago, baby pear has been waking up randomly for no reason other then he might be uncomfortable? And when I change his nappy first thing their is evidence that he's trying to poo but there is no poo. How long is this suffering going to last? Hmm

FrussoHathor · 22/09/2013 08:37

Sounds normal pear ds often gets pre-poos like he's followed through on a fart

You could try massaging his tummy.
Lie him on his back with his feet facing you.
Using the tips of your first two fingers on each hand draw clockwise around his belly button, your right hand going round and down that side and left going up and round the left side, a bit like this -- > (•) (but joining up the circle) repeat a couple of times then softly smooth you right hand (fingers) down towards his leg/bum.
Repeat this whole sequence about 3 times.
Then hold his lower legs, so his knees are together and lower legs parallel to each other, softly push them in and up to belly, hold for the count of 3 and release. Repeat 3 times.
Then repeat the whole lot from the belly stroking.
This should encourage his bowel movement.
And always go clockwise.

Have reported random post. Hmm

pear it's because the solids take longer to move through the digestive system, and it's something new. Is baby pear still weeing lots?

Thank you MNHQ. Cake

peardrop2 · 22/09/2013 09:51

Yes still wees

FrussoHathor · 22/09/2013 09:58

I would guess it's just taking longer to get through. Plenty of milk should keep it moving.

Ds had his first poo in about 4 days yesterday. Talk about explosion. I had to wash his clothes, his carrycot bedding, his pram suit (that he was lying near) his sleeping bag (lying on) the carrycot lining, and 2 of his soft toys. It was disgustingly everywhere.
