Good luck for tomorrow BP

ChasingDaisy · 14/07/2013 20:51

I am also going to treat myself to a lovely big bookcase so I can proudly display all of my lovely books. We only have room for a teeny tiny dining table so am getting a cheapy and treating myself to a Cath Kidston oilcloth tablecloth. I luffs Cath Kidston.

Ooh good luck for tomorrow pig

Kyzordz · 14/07/2013 20:57

Harrow all! Sweltering here today! E ate outside and wasn't much interested in his purée tea but did eat a fair bit of bbq food, chicken, home made burger and sausages from the blw cookbook :) he drank more milk today than usual so I am not fussed. chasing if you haven't noticed I am really repetitive and always tell the quiche how e has eaten, and I'm sure nobody area or equally minds that I list it on here. It just makes me feel better Blush

Sounds like o was good for your parents lily bet you missed her like mad though, I missed e when he went to mil overnight and also when we went to bon jovi

Oh pass that doesn't sound like much fun. Babies should definitely be born with some kind of instruction manual. Safari park trip sounds awesome

pr your dog sounds hilariously sweet

gt that doesn't sound much fun at all! Def piss in her tea if you can't piss in her slippers

Sounds like a lovely day and morning eliza :)

Hope your working week isn't too bad madame

You aren't boring at all chasing I've really missed you Blush

det I hate grumpy days like that, bedtime couldn't come quick enough on those days!

Sounds like a lovely time bplp :) tomorrow will be fine I bet f will love spending some time at her nursery :)

ChasingDaisy · 14/07/2013 21:03

Blush kyz. Also, O has had 26oz today which is the most he has ever had. Hasn't been so keen on solids though so I reckon it is the heat. He tried olives today which he liked. Well half of an olive, but better than nothing.

Pikz · 14/07/2013 21:09

Pass I have packing spreadsheets if you'd like them?

BigPigLittlePig · 14/07/2013 21:18

F won't touch finger food at the moment. Wolfing down her purees, but ever since she nommed all those strawberries, she won't touch anything solid. Strange girl.

BigPigLittlePig · 14/07/2013 21:19

Packing spreadsheets!? Sounds like my idea of heaven Grin

Pikz · 14/07/2013 21:23

I stole them from various sources to satisfy my Monica like tendencies. Shall post on Facebook.

ChasingDaisy · 14/07/2013 21:29

I currently have a brand new notebook full of lists (thanks pr Smile ) which is quite literally keeping me sane.

Pikz · 14/07/2013 21:30

I write lists of my lists!! It does keep you sane chasing!

ChasingDaisy · 14/07/2013 21:34

Where there's a list there's an aim. Where there's an aim there's a reason to keep going.

Kirrin · 14/07/2013 21:34

Glad you enjoyed your time out bry

Theatre sounds lovely lily

Good luck tomorrow bplp

My DD1 has very much tested my patience today. I am off to bed!

BigPigLittlePig · 14/07/2013 21:36

Those spreadsheets have really made me quite happy, so am off to bed on a high.

Yes, this really is what my life has become Grin

Passmethecrisps · 14/07/2013 21:41

Packing spreadsheets?! O.M.G! Bring it on sista! Thanks pikz!

We are going to Nice and will be self-catering. We will have a hire car with car seat. P will be 11 months old.

Where is luis? Has it been a while?

We FaceTime'd p having her tea today we are so pleased with her eating. She got grumpy so we turned it off. Then we realised it is because she just wanted to nom. Nomming not talking.

daisychain76 · 14/07/2013 21:46

See l am old fashioned, prefer hand written lists so l can cross things off have my own system with different numbers of ticks and colours

Dull day. Ds1 ill and dh working so been stuck in all day. Did make BLW reciipe book carrot muffins (yuck!) and cheese and spinach recipe (yum, with a lot less cayenne pepper than suggested).

Good luck for tomorrow bp, glad you had a good night lily . Chasing we have ikea sofa beds in our lounge, they are fab.

Kyzordz · 14/07/2013 21:52

I want a notebook for lists now guysssss!

chasing e has had 27oz today which is the moxt he's had for a week or so now and he's had less solids I reckon it is the heat tbh. Some days e doesn't want solids really either but they are fewer and further apart. He barely eats breakfast but he wants a bottle first thing and I'm sure for now that's ok? Fuck knows if im doing it right but for now it works

pass p is doing fab :)

PurplePidjin · 14/07/2013 22:01

Is it wrong that R just had burger, sausage, bun, cucumber and hummus for tea all shop bought? The meat was from the proper butcher, but should i be making it from scratch in case i damage him? I really don't have the budget or energy to make from scratch just for him when he eats so little of the finger food - the bulk of his meal was cous cous salad, which i did make myself with no salt...

ChasingDaisy · 14/07/2013 22:06

pidj O eats shop bought meatballs and good quality sausages. I don't have the time or energy to make my own so I hope it is ok. So little of it actually gets ingested though, that I doubt it matters.

Elizadoesdolittle · 14/07/2013 22:06
Kyzordz · 14/07/2013 22:08

I wouldn't see why it would damage him pp I cooked for e but froze most of it for future uses. He did have normal sausage and burger too, he doesn't get things like that often so I don't see it as a big deal :) e had a plum pouch,a 130g one, fruit for pudding and then bits and bobs of bbq/finger food. I would've given just a meal of finger food but it makes me feel better to know 100% he's eaten something I know, im crap

so yeah what I meant was that sounds like a fine tea to me!

Bryzoan · 14/07/2013 22:09

I gave g some burger to lob across the garden too pidj.

Good luck tomorrow bp!

And gt - if you did manage to get your mil to wear slippers, pissing in them might not ease her hygiene fears. I resist the urge to suggest more suitable locations but am Shock that she wouldn't take lo upstairs in case it woke your dh! Sounds like she needs to eat a priorities sandwich.

Kyzordz · 14/07/2013 22:12

chasing meatballs are a good idea! Never given e meatballs, I made chicken and apple balls today that went down well (he ate one lol they are neatball sized)

ChasingDaisy · 14/07/2013 22:14

Very impressed by all of your food making skillz. I think I need to start putting more effort in.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 14/07/2013 22:17

Had a lovely day today. Dad took us out for dinner. Mum and I shared not one but two bottle's of pink wine... Most I've drank in a long long while. J is currently refusing a bottle even tho he hasn't fed since a tiny wee slurp at 6pm.am sufficiently merry to be ensure dh I'd thanked for letting me lie in bed til almost 2pm.

vq hope your ok? Ru able to come to haggis meet? We're her if you need us. Sending (((squishy hugs)))

Mum and dad taking J and e overnight on wed!! How do I send bottles? We are still part mixing neocate and EBM? Can I make in advance cos giving instructions for mixed is very complex for my poor parents!

I'm so ready for a meet up! I don't mind driving to collect anyone that needs a lift. My boot is huge and can easily hold full pram systems for two babies!

Kyzordz · 14/07/2013 22:55

You put in plenty of effort with o chasing, I didnt bother so much when e was barely eating solids,my diet is crap which is why I cook for e, and I'm not even very good at cooking for him,I do 3or4 things and when they've nearly ran out I remember to do more Blush

izzy really glad you had a good day today and woohoo for your parents taking the kids :) no advice on the bottles sorry

night all
