Was your baby due in November 2012? Maybe you couldn't keep up with the postnatal club threads. We've missed you so please come back and give us an update on your baby and how things are going with you and your family. It doesn't matter whether you were a frequent poster, an occasional check in, or a lurker, we'd love to hear from you.

So how's it going?

I'll start then! J was five months yesterday. Feeding is going well at last, he's still mostly breastfed but has the odd bottle of formula and has had a wee taste of baby rice. Weaning starts in earnest in a couple of weeks. Sleep is TERRIBLE but hopefully slowly improving! The little rascal keeps pulling my hair.

I still want another but DH says three is plenty.

Hello, I'm more of a lurker than a poster.I read every morning while expressing. Usually by the time I've caught up, like now, Murray has woke up, so I miss my chance to post.

Murray is now 5 months and the apple of our eye. He is exclusively breast fed with one bottle of expressed milk every day from DH, usually at bedtime. M has 2 teeth already, which has meant my poor nipples have been chomped on it fucking hurts. Luckily for us he has mastered the art of sleeping through the night usually going from around 7.30-8.30 pm until around 7 am. He rolled for the first time last week, but hasn't done it since. We scared him with all our cheering and made the little munchkin cry

Must go, I'm being shouted at from upstairs, it's breakfast time.

LO will be six months at the end of this week. She is, today, on brilliant form. Currently squealing with joy at the idea of feet. No toys needed when feet are noticed.

Lots of winter bugs but we are optimistic for lovely spring. Outside of illness times she has been a great sleeper. Weaning started, she approves but isn't the most enthusiastic weaner of my two.

Luc is now 20 weeks and his favourite things are butternut squash, his feet and squawking loudly at me. He is now formula fed after 13 weeks of express feeding due to a severe tongue tie and latch issues.

I would have another tomorrow, he is such a character and he has recently started sleeping through the night.

Penelope is 22 weeks this week. She has silent reflux and cow's milk protein intolerance but is doing well on formula which smells of chip fat.

Despite being a dinky girl with a dainty appetite her favourite thing is bouncing in the Jumperoo. At the moment her future career options look like jockey, gymnast or any occupation which relies on being on your feet all the time. Because feet are awesome.

Hello! Teddy is 19 weeks. He's never yet slept through the night, up at least twice at the moment. EBF. He's a happy soul as long as he's got some attention, definitely not one of those placid second babies who are happy to sit and watch all day. He loves baths, swimming and new places with lots of people & things going on. And yes, feet too. No weaning attempted yet - I'll leave it as long as poss, so much easier to just whip a boob out, as demonstrated on my own in Pret the other day next to a table of men having a business meeting. They were all very focused on not noticing .

Grace is 21 weeks. She is wonderful and I'm already broody for another. She's mostly bf but has one bottle of formula before bed given by my DH, which he loves. After taking a month to return to her birth weight she's now flying up the centiles each time I take her for a weigh in.

She loves her doorway bouncer, facing forward in the carrier while we take the dog out and bath time. She's just started giggling more regularly which is such a lovely sound.

Night sleeps are good, generally goes down around 7.30 for between 10-12 hours. Daytime sleeps have no structure at the moment and rarely last longer than 45 mins.

Grace and I are off to Australia tomorrow to visit family (My DH is joining us in about 10 days) so we're taking on the coach trip and flight just the two of us. Wish us luck!!

Johnathan is doing well, he's a hefty little chunk at 13lbs 6oz, he rolls like a pro and sits p for a little while at a time now.
He is quite a clever little chap and likes to copy what he sees, he mimics DP tickling him and stroking his face which is very cute to watch.

Sleep is hit and miss, still in our bed (bye bye sex life!) although he's sleeps most the night.
He has a lose routine during the day and he has started solids although we're having poo problems (see pn thread)

I am doing ok, I still have days where PND hits harder than others, I spend most the time tired although my 8 yo is turning into a mouthy, answering back daemon so this doesn't help!

Matilda is 19 weeks and an absolute livewire. She doesn't sleep. Ever. Not even in the car.

We EBF until 2 days ago when I caved and let her have a couple of bottles of formula overnight and when I am at work. She's not snacking every hour anymore at least!

M is almost sitting. Can roll back to front but doesn't and in the last week has decided standing is the best thing ever. After Captain Calamari. She is a total chatterbox (above sea creature is usually on the receiving end of her patter) and has started properl giggling fits when MrMummy is around (Mummy isn't funny it seems).

We have had a few issues with her skin but are hopefully on top of it for the most part now!

I can't wait to hear from some old quichettes

Hello DarceyDoon is 26 weeks and mixed fed with porridge in the mornings so far.
She sleeps from about 9pm til 3-5am
She is not sitting up or anything yet but blows plenty of raspberries and is very vocal now too
She watches my mouth when I talk and turns when you call her name from a distance.

Hello! Seth is 23 weeks old. He sleeps reasonably well, and is now FF after 12 weeks of mixed feeding. We started weaning but he spat it all out (despite finding the spoon exceptionally exciting) so we will try again in a couple of weeks. He is a lovely, smiley, content boy, who worships his big sister. Fortunately she likes him too, and entertains him regularly by "being a dinosaur" to him or making him play with her toys. He has started nursery 2 days a week ahead of my return to work in just under a month.

Hi everyone!

Eric is 23 weeks old today! He was 17lb 10 at 21 weeks and has been ff from about 8 days old, expressing was too much for me and he wouldn't latch on at all. He has had rusk for breakfast for about a week now and I introduced tea last night and he was less than impressed. Will persevere as I know he likes to eat, just wasn't keen on his first taste of mixed root veg! He sleeps from 8pm-7am with a df at 10. He will go without it but is less settled after a few days of just 4 bottles a day, so I think he isn't ready to drop it just yet!

His favourite thing is his door bouncer and I'd love to get him a jumperoo but probably won't am mean mummy. He cannot roll or sit up or anything just yet he is almost there with rolling but loves to be on his feet! He loves to be talked at and everything goes in his mouth! He loves the dogs and likes to kiss the picture of my cat on my coffee mug. He also loves to grab his feet and likes the bath. He has the odd chatty day like today and is usually a very good natured little soul unless tired or hungry. He has the cutest giggle but it takes alot to get it out of him. He does however smile for England!

Olivia is 21 weeks old. She was a teary baby till week 19, I could not put her down for one minute. Than something clicked and she is just so happy, I can't remember the last time she cried or whinged.

She loves her cot mobile and jumperoo, her food and milk but most of all she loves when I sing to her and kiss her all over. She recognises certain songs and responds to her name. She does not roll or sit unaided but loves to stand and chew on mummy's fingers. And give her feet anytime, she is fascinated by them.

We went through an awful sleep regression but fingers cross it's over now. She wakes for one feed.

Saul and River turned six months today. They are both still bf, but we started solids a little way back and we haven't come across anything they don't like yet. They eat a metric fucktonne of vegetables everyday. Good little vegetarian babies.
River has stayed consistently a pound and a half heavier than Saul, which has earned her the nickname 'Ten Tonne Tessie' from her Australian grandfather. She is pretty fat tbf, but deliciously beautiful too :) Saul is slighter in build, but longer and with bigger feet and a manly nose :D
River cracked rolling over today, for the first time, and is immensely pleased with herself. Saul did it a few times three or four weeks ago, but clearly the entertainment value of the act was insufficient to warrant bothering with it again. He would rather nom everything.
River is mostly pretty stoic and considers everthing seriously, whereas Saul exaggerates EVERYTHING. Something isn't amusing, it is hysterically funny. He hasn't got a bit of wind, it is clearly something akin to a Ridley Scott film.
River sleeps through, usually from about 7:30pm to 6:00am, whereas Saul is awake every 90mins or so.

They are very different and I am enjoying watching their personalities emerge. Most of all I like watching the little moments of care that they have for each other. They smile when they see each other. When Saul gets upset, he cries at River and she strokes his head. When River gets upset, Saul holds her hand. When one of them gets tickled, the other will smile at the sound of the giggles. Twins are awesome.

NadiaKirrin is 22 weeks and very smiley. She likes standing but doesnt roll or sit yet. She doesn't sleep much at all in the day and wakes every hour or so at night so I'm shattered but I'd still have another.
DD1 was horrendously jealous at first but is mostly great with her now.
I am back to work in 5 weeks so desperately hoping for a sleep miracle before then.

I didn't catch the other threads as I wasn't a MNer till a few weeks ago!
Joseph is nearly 22 weeks and is such a cutie, he can tantrum the house down and has everybody wrapped around his little finger! He now weighs about 16.5lbs
He loves us taking his hands and helping him do the actions to 'row row row your boat' it makes him chuckle and grin like a Cheshire Cat.
Joe has just found his feet and his screaming voice and he mastered rolling from front to back and did it about 100 times the day before Mother's Day (the best present ever) but hasn't done it since
I take so many pictures and could write about him all day but I am enjoying seeing what all the other November 2012 babies have been up to!

Alexander is 21 weeks and a solid little thing. He's a happy fish, wakes twice in the night for feeds. He enjoys rolling onto his tummy and will do this 40 times in a day but he gets stuck and can't roll back so I'm mainly on hand to to turn the turtle. He has very smiley eyes and can flirt for Britain.

Catbag... I just melted at the thought of their little twin moments

Toby is 22 weeks and an absolute delight. He is 20lbs and is in the process of cutting his two bottom teeth. Still ebf and holding out to 26 weeks to wean, although I'd be surprised if he didn't steal something off my plate before then!

He loves the sound of his own voice, loves his toys and jumperoo, smiles at everyone but still loves a cuddle with his mummy best.

Sleep is pretty rubbish, and teething hasn't helped, but hopefully it's s passing phase!

Freya is 21 weeks, and tipping the scales at 14lbs 5oz. She's coming out the other side of reflux hell so there are plenty of smiles, and the occasional chuckle. She loves to stand, jump and coo. Bathtimes are a favourite. I am loving every minute!

Oscar is 21 weeks today. Weighs in at 15lb 9, bang on the 50th centile, from the 2nd at birth. Is verrrrry tall with big feet! No teeth here yet!

Ongoing issues with reflux and possible intolerance. Awaiting dietician appointment to discuss weaning and paeds appt for further management.

He's a delight. He's absolutely solid on his legs, his feet are flat footed and he's raring to move - he will walk just holding on to two fingers.

He rolled at 17 weeks but then decided it was boring. Til 20 weeks. When rolling was The. Best. Thing. Ever.

Today he has mastered front to back rolling, so we have him practically cartwheeling around the living room. He's a playful and lively thing.

Favourite things are mostly singing. He has certain songs he adores and will stop crying if you sing them. He copies you, blows raspberries by both pursing his lips, and sticking his tongue out. He chats away, lots of sounds coming from him, clicks his tongue, will even attempt kisses when you do them to him!

He loves socialising with other babies and adults too. He has a smile and a cheeky grin for everyone.

Sleeping has been our nemesis. Night sleeps anyway. Day time sleeps are good. And finally we are getting decent nights. But I'm not talking about those. In case they go again!

He's bottle fed with lactose free formula, and takes 3-6oz 3-4 hourly, 5 times a day usually.

Currently while writing this we are having a raspberry blow off. He thinks it is hilarious and is trying to out do mine!!!!

He's a character that's for sure! Oh, and he is so strong. And scratchy. And likes to hit me. He does understand no though. Which is good! He lets go or stops when you say no!

Ahhhhh... can't wait to see the changes over the next 6 months!

I'm shattered right now but I'll come back and update ASAP.
All in all, we are doing well minus a milk allergy and some excema.
Still dream feeding and probably not doing as much tummy time as we should be. Not ready for weaning I don't think.

I don't think I ever posted on a November thread as Harry was due in October but didn't show up till November!

He's 23 weeks and weighs in at about 19lbs I think now, still ebf but going through a waking every 2 hours phase at night which is wearing me out. I can't wait to start weaning in a couple of weeks.

He's a very chilled little man, his big sister can be terribly jealous and I have to keep a very close eye on her as she loves him to enthusiastically at times.
