Was your baby due in November 2012? Maybe you couldn't keep up with the postnatal club threads. We've missed you so please come back and give us an update on your baby and how things are going with you and your family. It doesn't matter whether you were a frequent poster, an occasional check in, or a lurker, we'd love to hear from you.

So how's it going?

Hmmm, now i feel I'm doing something wrong.

Zara is 5 months and 4 days. Started weaning 5 weeks ago now. Shes having 3 x 4oz bottles a day and 3 whole jars of food :/ She also has a cows milk intolerance and will only eat fruit jars or rusks! Has been eating rusks as finger food this week and getting messy.

Rolling back to front, eating her fists between bottles and food and sleeping from 7am til between 6.30-8am

The Detective- it's me Prolificwillybreeder here! Spooky DS3 has big feet and long legs is on a lactose free..well everything free formula and is also very chatty and social able!

(And scratchy and strong too! With amazing head control).

Sleep, well, his last feed is at 10 and he does sleep well but he stirs anytime from half 4-half 5. He normally then goes back to sleep but it's much lighter. We get up by 7.

I'm so tired, I'm quite poorly at the moment so I'm off to bed. It's having a shower once all of my boys are in bed which has just made me realise how tired I am!

Sinéad is 23 weeks now. She is a very happy baby for the most part, she loves her playnest and will happily sit and play with her toys in there for ages. She started having baby rice last week and have got baby porridge for her to try next week along with some purées I have frozen ready.
Her sleep isn't too bad, she goes down at 6:45 and is up for the day at 6am ish. She wakes a couple of times for her dummy but normally ones straight back to sleep.
She has started sitting unaided now aswell, has rolled front to back a few weeks ago but not since.

Ella is 24 weeks tomorrow. She has been rather unusal in feeding. She was ebf until being topped up by ng tube since being hospitialised in March with failure to thrive. She point blank refuses to take a bottle and for reasons still unknown ebf wasn't enough. She has silent reflux and is on ranitidine.

We are under the care of a peads consultant, a gastro specialist, a dietician and a SALT team (Speach and Language Therapist).

We are in the early stages of weaning under the advice of the dietician. It was going very well until she developed chicken pox so weaning has taken a bit of a set back.

She is a great sleeper and tends to go to bed round 7/7.30pm, wakes once around 3.30/4am and back to sleep till round 7.30/8am.

Despite having the tag failure to thrive, she is thriving and doing a damn good job of it. She is a very happy, calm baby and loves getting involved with whatever her big sister is up to (usually causing mischief!). I wouldn't change her for the world.

So Nora is coming up 5 and a half months (lost track of how many weeks she is a looonnng time ago!!) And I'm just over 13 weeks pregnant with number 2! Wasn't able to keep up with a post natal AND ante natal thread!

Nora is amazing, she is such a happy little baby. Used to sleep 10+ hrs a night, but we still haven't gotten back to that after a horrendous sleep regression (waking 10+ times a night!!) Thankfully it is now down to 2-4 times a night which is much more manageable!

I can't even remember when she started rolling, was atleast a couple of months ago. She is sitting unaided and standing, holding onto something, on her own. But I don't completely trust her to concentrate on it yet so still put out pillows just incase she gets distracted!

She started saying 'dada' a couple of weeks ago which is absolutely amazing!

Oh and she is currently taking on crawling, which is hilarious as she can't do the arms so she has butt in the air and legs moving furiously, whilst sliding her face along the floor!

We tried some baby rice and porridge a couple of weeks ago but it all came out again, so I figured we would leave that for a while, try again in a week or so.

Its so amazing watching her grow into a little person!

I have lost track of the Nov threads, having been so busy, so thought I'd update here.

DS (Aaron) is 25wks now and a delight. He is such a happy, contented little baby. Or rather, big baby - he's a good few pounds heavier than his big sister was at this age!!

He coos & chats away all the time, giving me the biggest grins and giggles when I talk back. He adores DD, allowing her to 'flip' him like a pancake whenever she feels like it.

He is rolling happily and trying to crawl, although looks like a stranded tortoise still. He is almost sitting up unaided and enjoys putting things in his mouth, including a loaded spoon. He is on the verge of swapping things from hand to hand too.

He has a favourite doggy for bed and loves to put his hand on your mouth when cuddling or feeding.

He sleeps very well - I am that lucky person that has been blessed with good sleepers. He usually sleeps from 8pm until 7am with maybe 1 waking for a quick feed either when we go to bed or at gone 5. He also naps well during the day.

Still bfing. Hope to keep going for another 6mths.

I'll finish before anyone gets the urge to stab me... I am so proud of my lovely little family, wouldn't change it for the world.

Lovely to read the updates, Chunky that sounds wonderful. So glad you are enjoying your family. L is 28 weeks and this feels like the best stage ever.

hey everyone

I cannot will not believe Dottie is 6 mths old on sunday!!!! since starting uni weeks are blurry and speeding past like seconds!!

Dottie is still a fabulous sleeper just like her mom and goes from 9.30 til 6 on week days when i have to get her up to feed before uni or 9 am at weekends!!

she absolutely love love loves food and we started her off on purees at 5mths and theres no stopping her now - shes had scrambled egg, salmon, loads of different veggies and fruit and is good with lumps too so is pretty much having what we are having mashed up - she loved chicken stew and dumplings last night!!!

she cut her 1st bottom tooth on the 25 april and the 2nd one 2 days later - she has formula while at the childminders but we still bf when shes home with me which i love.

she is sooooo smiley, loud, chatty, nosey and independant and her big brother and sister get the bestest smiles!!!

in other news - uni is amazing, I love it even though it is v full on and lots to take in, we've finished our first uni block and after trust induction I'm out on my first placement in community for 3 weeks followed by 4 weeks on birthing unit and I can't wait!!!

hope you are all well? I miss reading what you are all up to but I have no time to pee let alone catch up and where as i could read mn while feeding i've got to read up about nephrons and pelvic landmarks lol
