Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
blizy · 07/12/2012 23:32

Well it's all over for me, I have started spotting, I'm ok as I was expecting it.
We were at the SANDS Christmas service tonight, it was lovely.

Ponyo, I hope Anya is better soon.

tadjennyp · 08/12/2012 01:40

Rats and double rats blizy. Sad Glad the service was lovely.

ledkr · 08/12/2012 08:02

Oh blizy I'm sorry but well done for keeping perspective unlike me at least you can drink and eat cheese over Xmas and maybe try for a New Years baby. I'm sure anyone who has been slow to conceive remembers that anxious limbo cos I do and it's soul destroying.
wiggs nightmare about leave. They take the piss don't they? Dh had his last day off for training. No regard for family time or my job!
Aren't the federation voting on this s

ledkr · 08/12/2012 08:09

Posted too soon!
They seem to expect so much commitment whilst living on a very average wage and living in the real world!

blizy · 08/12/2012 12:07

Thanks girls. I am surprising myself by being so ok about it, pre ad's I would have been a complete state.

Wiggles, utter shit about mr w leave, I am Sad and Angry for you all.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

ledkr · 08/12/2012 12:20

Blizy that's when it happens. I got to the stage I gave up and just looked ahead I even changed jobs with Ella and only just scraped in for mat leave and pay.
Off to school fair oh joy if joys

americanexpat · 08/12/2012 18:16

blizy - Sad When does your DH get his results? I remember those days of being absolutely ready to have a baby and AF arriving every month - it's so unfair, isn't it?

wiggles - I'll be hoping for a pre-Christmas blizzard. Grin

wigglesrock · 08/12/2012 20:14

blizy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ledkr my parents took S and O to the Christmas Fair this week - my Dad spent £10 on lucky dip tickets and won a bottle of antifreeze disguised as wine Grin It will be regifted back to the school next Christmas Grin

blizy · 08/12/2012 20:34

American, he will prob get the results in the next week or 2.
I really am fine, just had pizza for dinner, which always helps!

ledkr · 08/12/2012 22:01

wiggs I won a vile pot on the raffle rather than the wine I wanted. I actually gave it back there and then as Delilah had decided she needed to be carried around the fair!
Was a little boring tbh and I was glad to leave there clutching my home made cakes

wigglesrock · 08/12/2012 22:14

ledkr Grin, my Dad just keeps muttering "the noise, the noise" if you ask him what it was like Grin

ledkr · 08/12/2012 22:27

Haha like hrs traumatised. My fav bit was dillys meltdown precisely under the Xmas tree in the hall in front of everyone whilst I struggled to get her up. This was because I'd taken off her thick coat as it was hot. Il let her boil from now on. Grin
Is anyone else's babe obsessed with wellies?
D wears them constantly if not her uggs then goes mental if I take them off for bath etc.
yesterday she was trying to be big like els and her mate so was sat at the table pretending to laugh whilst holding her face and shaking her head then sort of tutting and roping her eyes. We were literally all in hysterics I've never seen anything ole it before.

ledkr · 08/12/2012 22:28

Like not ole Xmas Hmm

ILovePonyo · 11/12/2012 15:58

Hello peeps, its been quiet here!

blizy you sound ok about things, hope that is the case. You said you knew anyway didn't you? At least you can relax over xmas and have a Wine Grin

ledkr Grin at D having a hissy fit about her coat. I saw a childrens book in waterstones called something like "I love my wellies" and thought of you and D, how random!

I am fed up with grumpy A and her waking at 5.30am Blush honestly she wakes up, cries, has breakfast and then cries b'cos shes still tired. I feel bad packing her off to nursery but grateful that they have to deal with her. Oh god that sounds awful doesn't it?! I feel like a cow saying it but its true :(

Also its my dads birthday tomo and I have been dreading it for the past few weeks, its just a big fat reminder he's not here anymore.

Excuse self indulgent post, on the upsode I've done a load of crimbo shopping this afternoon :)

blizy · 11/12/2012 16:07

Ponyo the firsts are always the hardest,as is the build up to the "big day".
I will thinking about you tomorrow.

Still no AF, as I said I had a bit of spotting but it was only once and visible when I wiped after going to the loo (sorry, tmi). I am still getting bfn, I have a doctor appointment next Monday (have to see her anyway for. Check up about the ad's). Dh should get his semen analysis results next week too .
It is starting to get to me now, I think it's the not knowing and he waiting!

ILovePonyo · 11/12/2012 16:44

Very true about the 'firsts' blizy.

Agree also about the not knowing and waiting, if you knew for definite it would be much easier imho! Spotting you say, are you feeling sick at all?! How frustrating for you though. Hopefully monday will come around quickly!

tadjennyp · 11/12/2012 17:44

I spotted with Sammy! Might it be an implantation bleed? Still keeping fingers crossed.

Thinking of you tomorrow Ponyo for you Dad's birthday. Sad Hope A gives you a lie-in too.

How are everyone's Christmas preps going? I still have a few more bits to order and then hopefully we're done.

Hope bedtime goes smoothly for everyone.

ledkr · 11/12/2012 19:29

I spotted too blizy well done on staying grounded though it must be frustrating. Are there any other symptoms?
ponyo d did that for ages I do thinks it their teeth. It just stopped out if the blue.
I just sky plus stuff to watch and lay on sofa drinking tea and took it in turns with dh. It's horrible though going to bed counting how long you got to sleep?
I realised the other day that it will be first Xmas without my nan and yes it's very sad ill miss her getting the giggles after tooany sherrys and farting when she got up to use the loo grin
Well I'm very stressed excited. We are off to Disney Paris on Friday for few days. It's too bloody expensive but its meant to be magical for the kids. We are back on 18th then back at work till Xmas eve. We must be mad. I've done most of the shopping but still feel panicky losing all the shopping days but we have agreed to just enjoy it and relax.
I'm missing out on money as I usually do the Kirsty but of fairy tail of New York with my mates band. It pays well and it's the first year I've not done it since I was about 25.
I know I've told you a bit before but I have finally posted on the stately homes thread. I'd love your thoughts on it especially as you all know me even if it is virtual.

ILovePonyo · 11/12/2012 20:50

Ahh god A was just a delight when I got her home from nursery, being funny and cute, hiding from us in the kitche, I feel so mean now! Bless her.

blizy I had implantation bleeding too Wink

led yes A is deffo teething, poor thing. I also just lie on the settee with cups of tea :) Wow to your hols, good for you, the girls will love it and it will be all nice and christmassy! Hope xmas is ok, have a sherry for your nan Grin
Will read stately homes thread, back later.

tadj I am going to wrap presents now after my big shop today! Am also nearly done, what a relief eh :)

ledkr · 11/12/2012 21:54

Ah bless A. When they are sweet they really are as cute as they come aren't they?
D was with my mum today and when I turned up she walked quickly and purposefully towards me and hugged me for ages whilst patting my back. She then wouldn't let me put her down to get stuff and was all sort of panicky until I started driving off and she visibly relaxed and started singing.
Not heard from wiggs I hope mr w is ok. Very scary time for the coppers there.

americanexpat · 12/12/2012 04:30

Another spotter here, blizy. Also had a quick vomit out of the blue on the same day, then a week later got a BFP. I will keep my fingers crossed for you but you're right not getting your hopes up. It's easier to be surprised than disappointed iykwim.

Ponyo - L did the same for 2 weeks, up at 5:30 every day then spent a week sleeping until 8:30. Teething seems to take months when molars are involved. Hmm Also thinking about you with your dad's bday.

Well, I've had a job offer. Grin They are willing to pay me stupid money too, my face was literally Shock when she told me the salary on offer. I'm going to miss being home with L a bit but I'm looking forward to going back to work and have someone appreciate my skills beyond bum wiping. Grin

Where's reastie been? I seem to have a knack for attracting lost posters. Wink

ledkr · 12/12/2012 07:29

American what is it you do?
blizy any news

ledkr · 12/12/2012 07:30

Reastie is busy on the Xmas bargain gift thread. The defector

reastie · 12/12/2012 07:33

Helllooooooooooo, you can't lose me that easily Wink . I've just been a bit rubbish lately MH wise - saw a psychiatrist last week and a psychologist today Confused , also Alice and I have a cold and a moany Alice is very tiring

American well done you - that's fab news re: job. What is it? I'd like a job for silly money please Grin

Ledkr didn't know what that stately home thread was and was thinking 'but ledkr doesn't live in a stately home, has she suddenly won the lottery or something' Blush . Really feel for you in what you've said. I can't offer any advice just a big hug. Does your Mum realise what she's doing? DO you think some of it is because you are so good at being quite independent and coping?

Blizy I'm half getting excited for you but also don't want to bring a downer on everything but the month before I was pg I got a really odd period - just a bit of spotting and that was it. I thought I might have been pg as it never happens for me just to get a little like that, but I wasn't. It did happen for me the following month though. Sorry, not wanting to stop your hopes as I'm keeping everything crossed for you. You sound really grounded about it, but Ponyo is right, it must be the not knowing that is driving you mad! Just keep testing all the time Keep us updated.

blizy · 12/12/2012 07:33

Still nothing ledkr. Confused. My next af is due next week, so. Guess I'll wait till then?

Ponyo, sending you my love and thoughts today. X
