Wow blizy trying not to get at all expectant or excited for you but that sounds good . I have no idea if ads can mess up these things - it's the kind of thing Ledkr might know though. Have you done a regular test? FWIW I have read of people being pg but the test not showing up for a few weeks.

tadjennyp · 03/12/2012 18:31

Father 'mis mis' sounds hilarious, reastie. Am nervous about putting a tree up here as I have the feeling Sammy will just bring me bits of it all day long!

Fingers x'd blizy, fingers x'd. We need an emoticon for that surely! Wait another couple of days and try again?

blizy · 03/12/2012 18:33

I have used cb digi tests and a cheapy from eBay. I don't think I am pg, I'm pretty sure it is just the ad's messing with me (I don't want to get my hopes up).

reastie · 03/12/2012 19:01

Have been googling blizy and looks like it could mess up cycle

blizy · 03/12/2012 19:09

Yip I know, I have been googling furiously today!

wigglesrock · 03/12/2012 19:22

blizy is there any point in ringing Dr in the morning and getting an appt or will they tell you to just sit tight?. Not meaning to be the big horrible party pooper but my period just stopped for 8 weeks three years ago - funny enough at exactly this time of year. It was one of the main reasons I rejoined MN to ask for advice. I wasn't on any Ads then - it just stopped and I was as regular as clock work.

blizy · 03/12/2012 20:04

One step ahead of you there wiggles, I already called the dr but she is full this week and off next week! Think I will sit tight and see what happens.

ledkr · 03/12/2012 20:40

Runs onto thread and bites knuckles! blizy oh maybe maybe if your bastard body is winding you up I'm going to slap it. I've not heard if ads messing with cycle but if dr google says then might by be. Get a decent test tomorrow. Any other symptoms?

ledkr · 03/12/2012 20:40
blizy · 03/12/2012 20:53

I have had sore (.)(.) but I get that as part of pms anyway. I am. Not going to Poas again until the weekend. I am not getting excited or getting my hopes up though.

Grin
ILovePonyo · 03/12/2012 20:54

Ooh blizy I am hoping you start feeling sick soon in the nicest possible way! Are the AD's you're on suitable for being pg on?

Wow at the royal baby, she looked too skinny to get pregnant to me

A didn't nap all day yesterday and fell asleep on me at 5pm, I put her in bed and she slept through til 6am Shock Thats a lie in at the moment!

blizy · 03/12/2012 21:01

Ponyo, yes they are fine to take.

Wowza to Anya's super sleep!

The tv is proper crappy tonight, dh is working in Hemel Hempstead this week, it's first he has been away in ages. So bored here! Think I might just take the ipad to bed.

ILovePonyo · 03/12/2012 21:03

Good oh blizy!

We are watching friday nights walking dead and then peep show, tv is always crappy at the moment isn' it? Boo. Enjoy your lovely ipad!

ledkr · 03/12/2012 22:03

Tv crappy' are you mad? It's the towie love show fgs what wrong with you all?
Blizy you jolly well won't wait till the weekend! Grin
Dies dh know you are late. I was always thinking I was pg so when I was late dh said "you always say that" and I was pg lol

Ponyo d is sleeping well once she goes off but having trouble settling her. She gets really upset when I leave her and takes ages to calm down so I just rock her to sleep.
The other day she had no nap and went down at 6.30 till 8 do maybe that's the way forward. Does a still nap at nursery?

blizy · 04/12/2012 07:24

Exactly ledkr, it's crap! Didn't need to worry about rubbish tele, I fell asleep!
Yes dh knows, he is quite laid back about it all, tbh I am too.

Right got to go get ready for mindees arriving. Hope you all have a god day.

wigglesrock · 04/12/2012 09:51

blizy No-one hopes I'm wrong more than me, not a sentence you will hear from me very often Grin

Am taking the girls to get their Christmas haircuts Grin today, well its the school nativity plays next week and its all about how they look Grin

ledkr · 04/12/2012 12:46

Fell asleep? Blizy. Are you feeling tired these days? Hmmmm?

Emski76 · 04/12/2012 13:09

Oh Blizy, oh Blizy, please let it be!!!! I'll be crossing my fingers, legs and anything else possible in hopes that it could be the fantastic news both you and dh, and all of us have been waiting for!!
Poor Kate Middleton at the moment. Some insensitive women commented on facebook that why should she be in hospital with morning sickness. I have to be honest and say that I did kind of go to town on them!! So bloody unsympathetic, and full of their own opinions and stuff....ooh......

Reastie, how are you going with your anti d's. I have decided to come off mine. Can't see my doctor as she finishes tomorrow and I have to call each morning to see if they can fit me in. I am taking one every other day for 8 days then stopping but have a weeks worth spare just in case I start cracking up again!!

Noah is great at sleeping but does like to be sang to, when he first goes in his cot. He asks for 'bus' or 'twinkle' and sometimes says 'go' when he's had enough of me. The other night he got upset as dh left his room so I went him, Noah asked for daddy, so dh came in, then Noah asked for Ben!! Cheeky monkey. He has become very skilled at using the iPad to watch things on U Tube, very clever boy!!

Hope your all well.

And Massive congrats to Granny!!!

blizy · 04/12/2012 13:42

Haha ledkr, I'm still not sleeping at night. So I'm always tired!

Emski, good luck with the ad withdrawal, please do be careful though. Noah sounds like a cheeky little monkey!

Mindee is asleep finally, he is a big grump today. I'm off out to the Christmas concert at my nephews and wee sis school tonight, oh why did i agree to go again? That will be a few hours of my life gone, ah well at least I will have earned good auntie bonus points! Grin

tadjennyp · 04/12/2012 17:17

Still keeping fingers and toes crossed for blizy!

Good luck with the AD withdrawal Emski - glad you are feeling strong enough to do that.
Really hoping MrW wasn't involved in those awful riots in Belfast. Come back Wiggs and tell us all is ok?
Glad D and A are sleeping much better now.
Got to write these Christmas cards while S is in nursery!

ILovePonyo · 04/12/2012 20:38

Hey all, the mn app isn't working on my phone, how annoying!

ledkr I have had to rock A to sleep a few times recently. yes she still has a nap at nursery, yesterday it was nearly 3 hours so I'll have to tell them not to let her sleep that long again! dp was telling me that some people at work were talking about controlled crying and saying "sometimes you just have to leave them to cry don't you" I was like this Hmm and told him "no, they choose to leave them to cry" and that I can't do it. Hmph!

blizy sorry to hear youre not sleeping well. Enjoy the xmas concert, sounds quite sweet :)

emski haha at N saying "go!" when he's had enough of your singing! Brilliant Grin

tadj I have xmas cards to write, why does it seem such a chore its only a few cards?! I bought mine in the sales in Jan and managed to find them earlier today

We picked A up from nursery and got fish and chips for tea, she was fine in the car, got home and she had a massive screaming fit for about 10 minutes out of nowhere Shock including lying on the floor crying, we managed to ignore her and she stopped eventually but bloody hell shes loud Grin

reastie · 05/12/2012 07:27

Ponyo I always buy my christmas cards in the january sales every year Grin and my wrapping paper too (although I accidentally got on that says 'Christmas 2011' all over one roll to use for this year - opps!)

I am Envy of these babies going to sleep on their own. I still have to walk or drive Alice to sleep for her nap in the day and in the evening bf her to sleep. Last night she actually slept through the night for the first time in ages - yeah!

I've done my Christmas cards but need to write addresses on them - it's that bit which I find a chore.

Grannyapple · 05/12/2012 08:49

Morning ladies!

blizy...any news (EVERYTHING is crossed!!)?

Thank you for the well wishes. Have been feeling a bit crappy the past week, not helped by N having sleeping issues...

Do any of the other babies have tantrums when going into the cot at night? He's always been rely good at finishing off his milk & then just rolling over once in his cot. But the past week it's been a screaming match, with lots of leaving him for 5 then 10 mins etc before going back to him. Last night it took well over an hour & a half for him to settle. He was a wee sweaty mess from all the screaming...matted hair & everything. Then wakes in the night & does the same again... Need to get it sorted pronto as DH & I are like zombies at the moment!

Any advice is much appreciated!

reastie · 05/12/2012 10:05

Granny just to say Alice does this quite a bit at night at the minute (not when she goes to sleep as she feeds to sleep but in the night) sometimes multiple times a night. I have no idea why. We've had a few weeks of it and have been having to take her out of her bedroom as she gets such a state in her bed and sit with her on the sofa downstairs, where she settles usually quite quickly and will fall asleep on the floor in the sitting room so we can carry her back up to her bed, but if we take her back into her bedroom when she is awake she just loses it and screams and shouts. Sometimes she wants food and drink so we keep an oatcake and beaker upstairs ready to offer. No idea what it is, or that what we are doing is to be recommended, given we seem to have lots of bad habits and hard work with Alice in general with sleeping, but will be interested to hear responses. Glad things are going well, even though you're feeling a bit rubbish.

ledkr · 05/12/2012 10:13

Granny d is doing exactly the same for last week. I started a thread ion sleep for advice. It must be an age thing but she is very distressed so I just let her go off on my lap cos I'm soft.
Blizy? Any news for auntie led?
