11st.3lbs a very good week for me. 3lbs lost.

Problem is I don't seem to be able to lose this every week.

beartime · 27/03/2006 08:54

Golden - 3lbs is really good, tho' maybe its too much which is why you can't do it every wk? Iused to find that if I lost 3lb on wk I would get too hungry nxt wk and only lose 1 so it equalled out to 2lb a wk in the end anyway.

I am now 10st 4lb -lost 2 more lb! Grin

Well done BEAR and GOLDEN! I'm the same, if I lose 3 or 4 pounds a week, I 'maintain' the next; all evens out in the end I suppose Smile. Not sure about WWs, but on SW they recommend 1 or 2 pounds a week max (though people who do lose more always get the heartiest applause Grin.
Am going to leave my weigh-in until SW class tonight, as I don't trust my scales (hmmm, they CANNOT be right!!!). Makes things simpler too if I post after Monday class on here Smile.

Bear - that is really good - and you had a tub of ice cream!

hi all...about time i joined you

just used local chemists scales and am 10lb 5oz

not as bad as i thought..
pre- baby i averaged around 9 - 9 1/2

i think the main thing for me is a need to exercise..i have flabby upper arms and thighs which i never had before

i generally have fruit and grrek yog. for breakfst
lunch is never healthy..either leftovers, big bg of nuts and choc, or a big cheese and salami panini

so action plan is..
go back to pilates (once a week)
do more long walks with the pram
stop buying nesquick and cherry coke
get the davina dvd for doing during o's naps (any better reccomendations appreciated)
make healthy lunch!

oh..and i'm tempted by the idea of joining a 'burlesque' dancing class...should be great..bet nova would be knowledagble on this..but also bet she's trim and doesnt need to come on this thread..lol

well done on your progress so far ldies! Smile

hi
Welldone bear and golden
11 6 for me so 1lb off - the first loss!!! did well as had 2 sets of visitors and went out for mothers day - but had a salad - theres a first for everything! Starting salsa classs this week so also trying to increase exercise (also walking miles). Finally managed to stop the daily cakes habit and have one biscuit a day and one square of chocolate. Aiming to stop the biscuits this week and have a mountain of fruit to replace it. Went looking for outfit for christening and horrified at figure in full length mirror so doubly motivated this week. Still aiming for 2 lbs - agree with rest that any more is too hard to repeat.

Golden - several tubs of icecream and three aero bars Wink and 5 out of the 7 days didn't count my points right either, and didn't walk at all, but I started with a good breakfast so that helped Smile - put it down to bfing - great for losing weight (at least it is now - wasn';t b4 I started dieting as I got so hungry I would binge!)

WW recommend no more than 2lbs a week

Well done mamman Smile lots of veggies with every meal helps too.

This accountability really helps! I actually resisteed chocolate yesterday when it was staring right at me and no-one to see cos I knew I'd be weighing in today!

BoB - 10lb 5 oz??????? That's rather small I would say... Either you're very tiny or you are baby that's very mature for their age Wink

BOB: the Davina Dvd is brill' really easy to fit in to day routine (she says not having done it for a week Blush. The dud video I have is the Ibiza pacha dance one - had visions of becoming a pole-dancing lovely, but very drawn-out and annoying accents to boot!
Mamman; I wouln't cut out the bicuits completely- they are my 'thing' and I look forward to my 3 rich-tea a day with cuppa when kids in bed. If I rstricted myself just to fruit for snacks, there would be no reason to live Grin. You may be stronger than me though...
Have a hunch I have lost half a pound, but will confirm/deny after SW weigh in tonight.

No weight loss this week I'm sure although I'll weigh myself later, if anything have put on.
I have joined Weight Watchers today in an attempt to really lose weight.
Also start swimming tomorrow night. It's only once a week though and in the evening.

Well done on the weight loss girls. Really motivating.

Haven't lost this week but haven't gained either, which is a relief! I did manage to fit into some jeans that I haven't been able to wear for years though. Very strange. I must be shrinking a bit but the pounds are just not reducing. Must be the pilates. Congrats to those who have lost! Joining WW tomorrow so will hopefully soon be losing too. Smile

BoB, where do you go for pilates? I'm thinking of changing instructors because I'd like more of a challenge. It's all very gentle in my current class but I want to do more!

Well, as I thought, half a pound off Smile. Feel OK,but was really 'good' so was expecting more. Oh well, better off than on! Inspired for next week by your stories too Smile.
Right, going to eat mother's day choccies now, and have a veggie curry lined up too. Well, a week's a long time!

well BoB, I've said it before, I'm happy to offer free pole dancing classes at any time, babies welcome Grin. Although tried to teach my friend over the weekend and she just shrieked and clung to the pole - lol!

Lost a pound - at least it was twice as much as last week.

I've been shopping and stocked up on healthy food, and had a last minute change of heart yesterday and drove past the pizza place, i've been reading up on weightwatchers and dusted off the exercise equipment.......but I bet I still manage to not use the equipment and find the chocolate.

You can take wedding dresses out as well as in right?

Getting my excuses in now girls...anticipating a gain tommorrow. Thought I had been really 'good', but have worked out that lime juice added to sparkling water is approx 5 sins per glass on SW. Have been having approx 8 glasses a day to replace diet coke, working out at 45 sins a day (only allowed max of 15!!). When I found out, indulged a little in mega triple choc cookies Blush. May as well be hung for a sheep and all that Grin.

diege - can't we have diet coke on SW? That is what I've been drinking!

Report
Diege · 02/04/2006 15:57

No diet coke is fine, it's the limejuice/fruit juice that's the problem. The only reason I wanted to cut down on the diet coke is because of some stuff I've read about it (the aspartame being linked to numerous health problems), as I am a 'heavy user'!!! Now though I think I'll risk it Grin

Thank goodness, lost a kilo this week. That's 2.2lbs. So I'm now 74.5kg which is about 11st 10lb (I think).
