Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
tex111 · 16/03/2006 13:01

Terrible time food-wise last night and today. I'm definitely stress eating. I did get a great incentive through the post today though - an invite to a retirement party for my old boss. Seeing lots of people who haven't seen me since I had Tobes will hopefully get my ample bottom into gear! The kitchen is finished tomorrow too, so once things are back to normal I have no excuse for eating rubbish like Hot Pockets. Blush

beartime · 17/03/2006 22:13

I'm doing so good since we started this Grin of course I'll probably have my tail between my legs on Monday when I've put on weight after binging tomorrow! But I've just discovered potatoes - can't believe I didn't earlier - I think it was too much work peeling them Blush. Mashed potatoes/Jacket Potatoes/Boiled Potatoes etc give so much more food for your points than oven chips or other stodge like that so I am feeling full most of the time!

Diege · 18/03/2006 20:38

Yes, potatoes are my life-saver too ('free' food on SW green days); I often keep a bowl of new potatoes in fridge to snack on, and also eat a lot of SW chips (basically potato wedges sprayed in 'fry light' and roasted).
Am getting my excuses in now, but had 2 birthdays this week (DH and dad), and did NOT make sensible choicesGrin.Would be pleased to stay the same, even putting on one pound, considering what has been consumed this week Blush.

beartime · 19/03/2006 07:47

birthdays are hard! I just discovered the chip thing too, tho' have never tried it with just spray. Yesterday we had a youth conference and there's two whole cakes leftover - now leftover stuff is really my temptation - goes back to my student days when I didn't have any money and jumped at free food!

goldenoldie · 19/03/2006 18:48

Hmmmmmm, my second boozy evening. Will be lucky not to have put on weight this week - just hope I've stayed the same.

beartime · 19/03/2006 22:36

After a great week went and broke my diet today Sad cos we had 8 people to dinner Shock and it was too hard to count the points! Then after that... well you know what happens once you're not sure how many points you've had... Blush

beartime · 20/03/2006 07:47

last week's weight - 10st 8lb
this week's weight - 10st 6lb - woo hoo!

goal weight 8st 10lb plus 3lb for norks and 2lb cos everyone said I looked too skinny b4 and wehen I looked at my photos my bones were sticking out on my neck - yiiikes. So 8st 10 plus 5lb - what would that be anyone? Sorry have no clue how many pounds in a stone Blush

goldenoldie · 20/03/2006 08:41

1lb off for me. Now 11st 6oz.

Diege · 20/03/2006 08:44

Had a bad start to week, but have tried to make up for it since Wednesday! Smile.
Last week's weight:9 stone
This week's weight: 8 stone 12 (well, 2 pounds off 9 stone - am guessing 14 pounds in stone?). Yeah!!!!
Target for next week: another 2 pounds please Smile.
Exercise done: Davinia video twice.

Diege · 20/03/2006 08:45

9 stone 1 BEAR? Congrats on loss, and Golden too!!Yeah!!!

tex111 · 20/03/2006 09:15

Ugh, weighed myself this morning and I've put on .5k which is about a pound. And that is definitely my weight as it was done first thing in the morning without so much as a cup of tea and after going to the loo. Smile I'm not surprised as we did order in a lot last week. I've found a pizza place that does nice salads but I always have a slice of DH's pizza too. Blush

OK, the kitchen is done and things are back to normal here so no excuses. I'm thinking of joining the local WW and see if attending meetings will help me focus. Off to look them up...

Current weight: 75.5k (11st 12lb) Sad

Diege · 20/03/2006 10:37

Bet you'll find the meetings help Tex.I go to weekly Slimming World classes, and have tried going it alone, but need the public thing to keep me on track (though still have weeks when I gain) the importannt thing is to keep on with it Smile. mmmm, pizza...

LilJ · 20/03/2006 11:53

No loss here - despite the fact that I did a huge amount of walking last week. Must be the evening glass or two of wine ...

yorkshirepuddling · 20/03/2006 12:01

Lost half a pound - despite having a mcdonalds, kfc, fish and chips and pizza last week - but I did have an unbelievably busy week so must have compensated with the exercise.

Think i'm changing to points though rather than no count - think I need the discipline of full count.

beartime · 20/03/2006 16:11

Congrats on weight loss Golden, Diege and Yorkshire. Sorry abt the addition Tex Sad Unfortunately I found I could never lose weight unless on weightwatchers - I just haven't got the self-control Sad but the good thing abt ww is that it forces you to eat more veggies and less fatty stuff etc. so is very healthy too.

Thanks Diege - I'll take it that you're right and make it 9st 1, so if 14 pounds in a stone that means I still have 19lb to lose = 2.5months at current rate Sad

I tried my wedding ring on today and almost had to go to casualty cos I couldn't get it off and my finger was going all purple cos the circulation was cut off, so I was desperately running it under the cold water and pulling at it to try and get it off b4 my finger fell off, tho DH said it would take a while for that to happen Grin - so I def need to lose weight otherwise everyone will think I'm single!

Diege · 20/03/2006 19:03

BEAR, I haven't been able to remove wedding ring since having dd1 Shock. I've got back to pre-pregnancy weights with all but dd3, but sadly the ring had never shifted! I was admitted to hospital 6 days early with dd1, with suspected pre-eclamsia, and they were going to cut it off the next day. Luckily I went into labour that night!

mamman · 20/03/2006 21:07

Hi - no loss for me aswell (still 11 7) but only tried for half a week really and had a bad weekend for sleepless nights and screaming baby and toddler - just need to find another comfort other than chocolate! Will try harder this week - aiming for 2lbs. We have christening of both in 6 weeks so MUST lose something! Smile

mamman · 20/03/2006 21:09

Also CONGRATS on all those that have lost some pounds - its hard work!

goldenoldie · 20/03/2006 21:18

beartime - I can't get my rings on either - depressing, esp. as my engagement ring was always a bit loose and i used to worry about it falling off.............

beartime · 20/03/2006 22:13

Glad I'm not the only one! I ate half a tub of icecream over my points today Blush - it was sitting staring at me and the option was get up go downstairs and put it in the freezer or stay in my nice comfy chair and finish the ice-cream - not a hard decision huh?

ChaCha · 20/03/2006 23:58

Busyalexsmummy · 22/03/2006 22:44
