hi yorkiegirl. i just saw your thread on DH wanting a 3rd Grin

make sure you only do it if YOU really want to. i wanted and still want 3 but really i don't understand those people who say it's no more work than two. yes it is.... dd3 is an absolute gem and perhaps my favourite if one is allowed favourites but it's a slog, sometimes.

Dottydot · 01/04/2006 15:31

Hi all
Fennel - how's your house sale up here going? Has it been magnolia-ised yet? Grin Hope it's sold soon. Meanwhile I really want to move - our car was broken into for the 2nd time recently and I just wish we could live somewhere slightly nicer (I'm such a snob...). Also quite worried 'cos the woman over the road has got 2 kids - lovely little girls who go to ds 1's pre-school - but she's sooooooooo horrible to them - she swears constantly at them - calls them biches and is always telling them to fcking come here etc.etc... Sad Ds1 doesn't seem to pick up on the language, but I know ds2 will - he's like a flipping parrot! Am worried he'll be happily using all these words by the time summer's out... Bit of a nightmare family - police were round the other night and always tons of shouting and really loud music. The girls seem happy but I worry about them aswell.

Never mind - good to have a grumble!

hewlettsdaughter · 01/04/2006 21:48

eek Dot! Happy birthday Lucy's ds. YG - hope dd2's birthday celebration went ok (how is she doing on the antibiotics?). How do you feel about a third child?

dolbear48 · 02/04/2006 18:12

hello happy b-days to all , completly rubbish and got nothing and arranged nothing !!
had ' one of those ' the other day , ds in bath anounces in advance he needs a wee - me v excited yanks him out of the bath makesing all encouraging noises , puts him on the floor to list lid as thinking would be easier go to pick up child completely forgetting that the loo seat snaps sraight back down again , it bangs on ds knuckles , causing rightly complete fit and now is terrifyed of the toilet - have completely blown the moemnt ahhhhh
hope all is well with eveyone , moves , bugs , pgs and of course the chickens hope the nappies are success

Happy Birthday to YG's dd Smile Ds had a lovely day yesterday! Good luck on trying for no.3 YG Wink

lunavix · 02/04/2006 20:31

Hi everyone :)

Sorry to hear you aren't liking Newbury MrsD. Tbh I'm so so sick of Thatcham it's unbearable. Dh has had job interview for Newcastle but think it's a little far! We should really meet up one day ds would probably fall for your dd he's such a womaniser!

20 weeks pg yesterday... the time flies when you're miserable and looking fat!

fennel · 02/04/2006 21:05

lunavix sorry you're miserable is it just from being pregnant?

hi dot- sorry to hear you're fed up with where you live. surely irritating neighbours can be everywhere though?

our house is now 9/10 magnolia i believe with new beige carpets on stairs. but noone wants to buy it it seems - we would like to keep it but move it here. we liked it!

Yorkiegirl · 02/04/2006 21:09

DD2 has had a great weekend. My parents got her a Dora trike which she loves. We got her a dolly and a buggy, which has been pushed round and round the conservatory this afternoon!!
No. 3 hmmmm... I am not completely convinced. DH has got to do some major sweet talking if he wants us to go for it. If we do, and I mean if, we won't be starting ttc until this time next year.

Happy B'day to YG dd2, HM ds1.
Can't believe that we have been chatting on here for over 2yrs.
Life settling down for us over here and looks like we start moving next week...yay!!!
Still in shorts and singlet most days but it is starting to get a bit cooler. Trying to stock up on warm stuff for dd. It is a real pain as if she toilet trains quite a bit of her size 1 stuff will probably fit but even though she wants to (I think) most of the time the wees just seem to catch her by surprise (or she hides)so she isn't quite ready. Nana wasn't too impressed with a wee and poo in the pantry...

MrsDoolittle · 04/04/2006 14:47

Hi Lunavix - yes we should meet up. I've just been diagnosed with PND though Sad started meds today.

Yorkiegirl · 04/04/2006 18:52

hope you start to feel better soon Mrs D.

hewlettsdaughter · 04/04/2006 20:54

Sorry to hear about the PND MrsD - hope the meds help! Were you expecting the diagnosis?

morocco · 04/04/2006 21:17

hi everyone
sorry to gatecrash but I remembered some of you from the March group and thought I'd say hi if that's Ok. Chuffed - I can't believe you have a ds too!! Congratulations!
ds2 was 2 on March 04 - how time flies!

MrsDoolittle · 04/04/2006 23:42

HD - not exactly. I actually posted on here because I was worried about how angry I was feeling towards dh. A few suggested PND. I called the hv and hey presto!
It all fits in to place now but I've not been 'right' for a while. It's just now it's compounded by the fact I'm dog tired.
Anyhow, the only way is up now. I hope Smile

hewlettsdaughter · 05/04/2006 16:56

Well done for calling the hv MrsD - she's obviously taken you seriously. Will be thinking of you xx

fennel · 05/04/2006 18:42

Mrs D - glad you are taking action. it can only get better from here on.

and remember if you need to check out Exeter we are quite lonely down here even someone we've never met would be very welcome Grin

Chuffed what's the new house like?

hi morocco.

Chuffed · 06/04/2006 09:21

MrsD hope you are feeling a bit better, I think I was a little borderline, felt very angry to ds too poor thing. It has helped now he is a bit nicer to me...Blush but good on you for speaking up.
We aren't in our new place yet - looks like next weekend, splashback glass is being installed early next week, just need shower plumbed after that and a good clean etc then we can move.
We are getting pretty excited.
So proud dd had her first sushi today with me for lunch - I got mmmm sushi.
She had salmon and avacado rolls.

hewlettsdaughter · 06/04/2006 19:38

Good luck for the move Chuffed. How is dd2 doing YG - is she better now?

My dd is in a good sleeping phase at the mo - going to bed ok and not waking up too early. Shame we're going away next week and it will all probably go to pot!

good to hear the pregnancy's going well lucyj

tracyk · 12/04/2006 13:19

hi girls
just a quick check in - am now in scotland and in holiday let till we get our keys next Wed for new house. ds now in single bed and loving it (tho waking at 11pm coughing and snotty).
weather is miserable- what did I expect??

fennel · 13/04/2006 15:11

hi tracyk, we've moved too. weather is rather lovely down here, the dds keep getting sunburnt as we just aren't used to needing suncream at easter.

dd3 not in big bed but she does keep sneaking into her sisters' bunk beds and has fallen asleep there a couple of times so i think she wants to move into a bunk.

hewlettsdaughter · 16/04/2006 09:03

Happy Easter all! Ds and dd were out in the garden at 7.30 this morning hunting for the little foiled eggs which the Easter Bunny had left - at about 6 am Wink

Glad ds2 had a good day dot :)
