Hi, is it ok to join this thread? my ds arrived on 28th Feb (by stork honest) weighing in at hefty 8lb 15oz. natural delivery. hurt like a biatch and the evil midwives wouldn't give me any drugs or gas and air. never mind i'm over it now and got a gorgeous boy for my troubles. Jake Stanley :-)

Hi Green and welcome to you and Jake! You are more than welcome to join the FB bus too. Shock that you weren't given any gas and air even, were you too far gone? Did you complain? I had a DS too, on the 17th, Rowan, he is a little cute pie!

Hello Green :)
Is Jake your 1st baby.
I had my ds3 Louis on 20th feb.
The memories of the birth fade in time I promise!

Hello Green and welcome.

Congratulations on the birth of Jake.

No pain relief and an 8lber, wow, did you complain?

I only had G&A for my ambulance transfer, but loved my TENs before that, highly recommended. Ended up with my second EMCS within half hour of arrival as DD2 got stuck (was pushing on arrival).

The fact that I had another after my first EMCS (DD1 is nearly 3) is testament to how much the memories fade over time, and I would do it all again in a shot even after two EMCS's now!

Oops it's a bit quiet!

How are all our babies doing?
