rocketleaf · 10/09/2011 21:50

curly I think you could most definitely use that excuse. I know it'll be ok, he's just a worrier. I promised to over pack so we can stay Tuesday if necessary.

We are watching Bridesmaids. Half hour in and I haven't laughed yet. It's not what I expected.

SilverSky · 10/09/2011 21:54

rockstar yeah! And then we went to the supermarket. We are W.I.L.D!!!

titter you are veh lucky wrt court! Did you bribe?

Sorry if I've missed anyone. I'm home alone again and on the cider. Child finally went to sleep at 830 after rejecting my lovingly created salmon, broccoli and baked beans. Bananas and custard were a hit!! Grin Nursery has thrown everything out. Bedtimes have turned into a nightmare!!!!!

PollyCrystalTits · 10/09/2011 22:42

I'm not sure when I'll be let loose with needles Sprocket. I've assumed not until year 3, although I see from the prospectus that year one includes 30 hours in clinic, but I imagine this is watching someone else. I will be shit scared the first time I have to do it.

Definitely relieved about the court case. I didn't have any other points, so as long as I am careful, 6 points needn't be a problem. In fact, it stops me from blatantly disregarding speed limits when I'm running late, which is most of the time.

PollyCrystalTits · 10/09/2011 22:47

Don't be daft CurlsWorld I reckon you could use the storm to your advantage.

Well the small shrieky ill one is asleep so I feel I should go to bed too as I think I am going to be up a lot tonight*. But I just want to read my book/watch rubbish tv/drink wine stead.

*Not as much as Gin obvs. She is such a DHB she doesn't even need sleep. Hmm

Silv can't believe your doctor misdiagnosed poor MB's rash. Hope it calms down soon, poor love.

Backinthebox · 10/09/2011 23:32

We have given LG formula instead of BF tonight. He hasn't missed me at all! I thought it was going to be a mean kind of first birthday present, but he was very happy with it.

PollyCrystalTits · 11/09/2011 08:24

Good news on the formula Box!

okiecokie · 11/09/2011 09:32

Pol 6 points and a fine is not too bad in the grand scheme of things. Could have been worse. And, you didn;t have to go to court with a stinking hangover = bonus!

owlbooty · 11/09/2011 13:16

Hoorah pols am veh pleased court went well. :)

PollyCrystalTits · 11/09/2011 19:44

Thanks biatches. I reckon it could definitely have been a lot worse. Now I just have to find the £100 fine. Unfortunately I appear to have spent it on boden clothes on ebay. Oops.

Booty how are things going? How is the feeding frenzy? I hope you are holding up ok. And just because...

CurlyCasper · 11/09/2011 20:08

budge up Eshs, I want to clear a space for the lovely Ocarina who I dropped in on today. she looks bloody marvellous for a woman who gave birth just on Tuesday, radiant! And her wee girl is just gorgeous. i got a quick cuddle while Squeaks wasn't looking, and my ovaries have been clanging ever since. Squeeeeeee indeed!

Muser · 11/09/2011 20:18

Hooray for Ocarina! Many congratulations.

AlpinePony · 12/09/2011 06:55

Oh jesus - regarding ESH meet - I bet someone dares polly to whip out her needles and we all get stuck! Grin Shit about the fine pols fo sho. But at least (as you say) it wasn't the dreaded ban, and you're old enough to be able to ride the points - not so much fun if you were a 17 year old boy!

Speaking of radiant - have you all seen the bitey pics on fb? All glossy, shiny hair. Because she's worth it or something.

curls Once again you've made me jealous of your travels - particularly the Loch Lomond bits. Envy

SilverSky · 12/09/2011 07:52

I've only been to Edinburgh. I'd love to see more of Scotland. Loch Lomond particularly. Dog walking friend of mine has been three times with her dogs and says it's stunning.

In infection news things are looking much better already. Need to call quack about use on the neck and if it's a go then we are really rocking!

The weather here today is supposed to be horrendous winds. Already it's looking touch blowy and very dark out there.

AlpinePony · 12/09/2011 08:04

When Bear had a little fungal infection in his neck crease, I slapped a dod of caneston on it. Cleared it up in no time. Not the day for jumping on the hoss then silv? I am in a foul mood, my fuse is so short and Bear is getting on my nerves a lot and I don't want to be mean. So, I'm going to ride this afternoon after physio and jump - which I hope will improve my mood.

Sadly not alps ! My dope on a rope yesterday worked out after just one session that after three laps of the barn each way he gets to have inhand grazing for a few mins! Cue pulling me all over the shop. Not cool when you are pushing buggy as well! If it gets worse there will be no grazing allowed for safety purposes. Vet is happier and says walkabout is good due to nag being an oap rather than 24/7 standing in.
Hopeful feel better after and you blow the cobwebs away. You're diffed. Means you can yell at who you like innit. Grin

HI forgot to put MBs cream in the fridge last night. After I asked him too.

Muser · 12/09/2011 09:22

I am off to Loch Lomond next month! If it does not piss it down we shall yomp around the countryside with baybee in sling. If it does piss it down we shall splash around the pool and I shall give baybee to inlaws and go sit in the spa for three days an afternoon.

Cosmosis · 12/09/2011 09:23

Why have you given formula rather than cows milk box if you don?t mind me asking?

Well done on the court pols I have reached down the back of the sofa and found you a fully boiled sweet and a 2 euro coin. This will help towards fine, no?

I had fab day out on the bike yesterday. I need to get out more. Artie and TGO had a good day wandering round town clothes buying. I think there was some sort of role reversal going on!

Medee · 12/09/2011 10:17

if anyone comes to Scotland, come up and see me!

CurlyCasper · 12/09/2011 10:43

Was too brief a trip this time medee, but ocarina and I said yesterday that we will try to get together with you next time.

Hope the weather is better for your trip muser. We had standard west coast wet and windy. Typically, it was sunny and humid when I headed to the Far East (of Scotland) on Saturday.

I am now focusing my hopes on ESHfest, needles or not!

Lighttaperstandback · 12/09/2011 11:04

Congrats on court result Pol. So that'll be you driving at exackerly the speed limit for the next few years then...

Excellent news on infection Silv!

I wonder when we will ever get up to Scotland again? My uncle has a cottage somewhere near Oban which he has said we can stay at. Bit of a treck to get to from these parts with small 'un in tow.

Our Sunday was a bit of a washout - Squib went down with a fever on Saturday night - think probably was a cold which his mum managed to worsen by taking him swimming on Saturday (but he seemed fine then...honest). Poor little thing couldn't sleep so ended up bringing him into our bed so I could at least cuddle him so he would go back to sleep. Which meant I got about 2 hours sleep the whole night. Fortunately it was the weekend so his dad took over in the morning and I got a bit of sleep then. He seems better now but I'm staying in the house today, just to make sure he's better. Joy oh joy. We were supposed to be having friends round for Sunday lunch - were going to make Lasagna, but cancelled. We now have a kilo and a half of meat sauce which we had prepared in advance in the freezer. Spag bol anyone?

Congrats on the giving up of BFing Box. Squib was the same - think he preferrs the bottle tbh. Tried showing him a boob about a week after I stopped to see if he was still interested, and he just reached out to grab hold of a nipple! Are you planning on continuing with formula for long then?

laurielou · 12/09/2011 12:33

Poll good news on the non-driving ban - what did you have to do to ensure that then Wink

Alps sorry you're feeling down - hope your mood improves later.

Sorry this is so quick - am totally rubbish lately. How do you all find time to chat properly? Pliz to tell me your organised secrets ................

Cosmosis · 12/09/2011 12:42

what who did you have to do to ensure that then

corrected that for you Lozza Wink

FannyPriceless · 12/09/2011 20:59

Fanny happy! First day at work today. Both children had a great time on their first day at the new nursery / pre-school. How did I get away with that?Grin

I have been horribly absent from CRESH due to holiday in rainy Exmoor, followed by Bonnie's 3rd birthday, followed by panic at preparing for my first day at work. Am hopefully a bit more relaxed now that I've got that over with...

I am trying to catch up on 10 or so pages of ESH news but have only managed a couple so far. Is this the fate of the working mother in an open plan office?

pols Well done on the fine. And thank you for lovely text today.Smile Bonnie is still raving about the lovely play day we had. Whenever I ask her what she wants for her next meal she says she wants to make pizza with I.Grin

I love Scotland, and am half from there. I got engaged at Loch an Eilean.

PollyCrystalTits · 12/09/2011 21:12

Oi you slaaags, enough of that! I got off entirely on the strength of my menkulness thank you. [proud]

PollyCrystalTits · 12/09/2011 21:20

Sorry Fans x-post. So glad the Priceless family survived your first day at work! Madam was only talking about Bonnie today, and asked when we are going swimming again. Was fab to see you twice in a week. Grin Have you seen my post in t'other place? Are you free for an ESH weekend of gin and cake on 22/23 Oct? Say yes, or I'll track you down and kidnap you, just as soon as I've finished trussing up Gin.

I am ashamed to say I have never been to Scotland. Blush Would love to. We were going to stay in Elgin for our honeymoon, but ended up in Pembrokeshire instead. The drive with two little 'uns puts me off a the mo.
