UKIP. I'm voting for them. This is why;

UKIP want us out of the EU, I love Europe can't stand the EU.We pay 40 million a day to them
1)72% of our laws are now made in Brussells, from fuel taxes, farming, fishing and immigration.
2)We pay £40 million a day to be in the EU.
3)The Two richest countries in Europe-Norway and Switzerland are not even in the EU.
4)Under labour we now have 3.5 million extra people living in this country. We need proper border controls. Nick Cleggs policy is to count people in and out of the country, and force them to work in 'regions' totally unworkable. UKIP would keep our proud tradition of helping genuine asylum seekers.
5)UKIP does not appear to be anti-christian as do the other parties. The labour parties spin doctor Alistair Campbell said they "don't do God!" I do.
6)UKIP believes in holding referendums for the electorate on key local and international issues. I like this.
7)Crime is now out of contol, UKIP would build more prisons. Last but not least, Lord Pearson (leader) is 'posh' and does not try to hide it.

I love posts that start

FACT: "

Are you disputing the accuracy of that post? Are you stating the Auditors have in fact signed the accounts for the last 15 years? if so, i would LOVE to see the proof........everyone else on the planet would as well.

daftpunk · 20/04/2010 22:57

shadeofviolet;

Most people vote for a party based on two or three core issues....I'm not sure who you are voting for but I'd like to see you post something as informative as LL has...

...It's so easy to criticize isn't it..

empty vessels aways make the most noise

Lilyladles · 20/04/2010 22:58

ShadeofViolet,

If you really interested in UKIP's policies, including those on the economy and health, see them for yourself.

www.ukip.org/content/ukip-policies/1519-ukip-full-manifesto.

I like them. You don't have to and it makes no difference to me.

But can you answer my criticisms of the EU?

ShadeofViolet · 20/04/2010 22:58

I was asking YOU what the policies are, if there are any!

You seem to be avoiding questions yourself.

How can UKIP expect people to vote for a national party which has no policies on some of the most important issues facing our country today? "

I dont, you're confusing me with the OP. I stated i would vote UKIP only for the european elections. Do try and keep up.

Lilyladles · 20/04/2010 23:02

What? I've given you the link. They're UKIP's policies, not mine.

Thanks Lenin.

I said nothing of the sort Lincstash. It's just a posting style that amuses me.

StewieGriffinsMom

I'm a little sceptical about your research skills. UKIP's policies are not hard to find.

lincstash · 20/04/2010 23:06

Im not askign anyone to vote UKIP. I merely stated my voting preferences.

Its very naughty to put words in peoples moths in order to score debating points, and you'll only come unstuck.

As Jack Carter said " You're a big man, but you're out of shape. With me its a full time job. Now behave"

SGM;

Informative enough for a chat-site

ShadeofViolet · 20/04/2010 23:08

So how do you feel about Lord Pearson not actually knowing what is in his manifesto?

SGM; Ikwym, but this is a chat-site, I use MN as a place for speed talk, I like quick posts, straight to the point..I don't want to read an essay...LL is voting UKIP for the reasons she has given....all seems fair enough to me....but I'm not the sort of person who needs to know the in's and out's of a ducks arse..

Lilyladles · 20/04/2010 23:20

ShadeofViolet

How about you answer my question first?

Can you answer my criticisms of the EU?

Well, can you? Or are you another one who blinds herself to the less than palatable?

StewieGriffinsMom

I think UKIP's policies are better than anything else on offer. I don't share your opinion at all. It would be a strange world if we all agreed and would reduce politics to a one, not very democratic, party state, which is nearly what we are now, save for the smaller parties.

And you criticise UKIP when all the mainstream parties "babble" with only the vaugest thoughts on cutting government waste!

See thats the problem. It doesnt matter to you if we give BILLIONS to a bunch of crooks who then line there own pockets with it.

Well it matters to me. I dont work and pay tax to line some crooked italian politicians bank account. I want my tax spent on my kids and my city and my country.

If you stopped the waste, you could pay less tax. We give the EU £10billion a year, and we owe £748billion. The yearly interest on that alone is £29billion. Pull out the EU, we can start paying that debt off. Or we can start spending it on schools, hospitals, police, fire stations, medicine, etc etc.

So you're quite happy to work your balls of 37 hours a week 48 weeks a year in order to let a crooked frenchman or german rob you ?

lincstash · 21/04/2010 00:05

Your naivety regarding the french and germans is breathtaking.

Did you not read the links? The accounts of the EU are a shambles, billions of euros is missing, gone into the back pockets of frenchmen, and germans, and belgians, and italian. The auditors will not sign them off for the 15th year ina row.

The french will rob us and stab us in the back at every opportunity, and they dont care to abide by the rules, either. How about, for example, the illegal ban on our beef the french maintained for several years in a blatant attempt to kill and bury once and for all our beef export industry ?That was appalling and outrageous, especially since they already had BSE in there stock by then. ]

Or the way the French government propped up Peugeot with an illegal loan.

Then theres the Euro. Each country using the euro is supposed to maintain a budget deficit of less than three percent of gdp. France and germany said they were ignoring that rule. When the Euro hit an all time high against the dollar last year, many of the smaller countries in the EU were upset, most of all Netherlands, Austria, Finland and Spain, all of which went through painful fiscal restructuring themselves. It appears there are two sets of EU rules, one for France and Germany, one for everyone else

France only obeys the rules when it suits them. How can you trust a nation that lies through its teeth to us and stabs us in the back?
