I have no opinion on landlords. I’ve rented in my life and I had zero problems. I was exceedingly grateful to have a roof over my head. I’m not sitting on television actively representing a party who has anti-landlord policies.

I totally understand why this is being spun this way, Badenoch has a job to do, but it was not welfare but 'social security' by which he meant if you make people homeless it further negatively impacts social stability.

If it gets them into power, they won’t hesitate. Look at the last. Theresa May palled up with the DUP in 2017. David Cameron teamed up with Nick Clegg in 2010.

Poll percentages are not correlated to seats. The 2024 general election was a good example.

Labour received fewer votes in 2024 compared to 2019 which was considered to be their worst result in 84 years. However, they more than doubled their seats from 203 to 412.
