John Healey, who quit as Keir Starmer's defence secretary last month, has been pictured walking up Downing Street - is he about to be reinstated as Defence Secretary, I wonder.

Ed Miliband and Shabana Mahmood also photographed walking up Downing Street together - but we still don't which positions they will be given in Cabinet.

Wonder if he’ll be offered the health job back.

Healey for Chancellor is a great move. He'll properly fund our defense.

Clever move by Burnham. When defence raises its head again, he can let Healey fudge the figures.

because he spent half a decade in Gordon Brown’s Treasury with specific knowledge of that era’s attempt to regenerate and devolve power.

Also, he is well-respected on the international stage and has built links with key economic allies in Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

As far away he is the better. I think that was the plan.

I wonder what Cooper has got. Unusual for her to keep a role on the Cabinet and not sure what she’d go for necessarily.

Had to be done. She's too embedded in there now and will want to see through the Immigration changes. Good move. She can also hold her own against dissidents of getting tough on immigration moving forward.

Agreed. Really liking his decisions so far. North Sea drilling on the table and putting someone in charge of the money who understands the need for defence. So far so common sense.

I think he's going for competence so doubt she'll be anywhere she can break stuff. Maybe Deputy PM again?
