Honestly, yes. If was a 78 year old who colleagues knew I lived alone and who I had just been messaging about appearing on their tv show (or local radio show for that matter) something I'd done repeatedly in the past without issue, but suddenly stopped replying and didn't answer my calls then I would expect that someone put a call in for someone to check on me.
Not for a minute because they'd expect me to have been brutally murdered but in case I'd had a fall or hurt myself. As I said, I appreciate that it wasn't the responsibility of any of the producers but it is still a shame that nobody thought and/or bothered to do it.
