Trump has teased there will be a huge announcement at his rally in Ames, Iowa tonight. Special guest will be there.

Elites across the world are in panic, luvvies are having a lie down, Oxbridge is tuned in, PPES are petrified.

Will Palin endorse Trump? Is it game over for the Establishment?

No one knows. Elites are in meltdown and Trump fans are already doing the hokey-cokey.

It's like watching teenage exchanges on Facebook or Twitter.

The more the Establishment and their paid-for political class make fun of Trump and Palin, the more the Trumpites love them. Bring it on, we're going to win.

Could you say elite more?!

LilacSpunkMonkey · 19/01/2016 22:20

Are you American now, Claig?!?

MorrisZapp · 19/01/2016 22:21

You are priceless claig :)

claig · 19/01/2016 22:21

'Are you American now, Claig?!?'

I wish.

OP posts:
PacificDogwod · 19/01/2016 22:22

I saw claig first, Morris

LilacSpunkMonkey · 19/01/2016 22:24

So, you're not American.

Then, let's be honest, 'we' doesn't apply to you.

You're quite bonkers m'love.

GingerCuddleMonsterThe2nd · 19/01/2016 22:26

You wish you lived in a country with limited gun control, no NHS, poor death rates for women in childbirth for a western country, shocking equality laws and horrendous gang violence.

I mean I know America can be a great place to visit, but unless you are economically blessed it's really not a great place to live in my opinion. They have massive issues with abject and actual poverty .

claig · 19/01/2016 22:26

' 'we' doesn't apply to you.

It does, because Trump represents the victory of the people against the elites and that will have implications worldwide. With Trump, the people of the world are winners and the elites of the world are in meltdown.

I think Claig is trying to demonstrate just how - outside of the slightly febrile arena of political commentary - bonkers a lot of these political statements sound in a normal context.

Or.

S/he has the energy of those who have not yet reached the years of wishing for a cup of tea whilst it all goes away. And lowers its voice.

Hassled · 19/01/2016 22:28

Claig, much as I enjoy your threads, enough with the Oxbridge/PPE stuff now. Having a PPE doesn't actually make you a wanker - at least not on its own. The sooner you realise this the happier I think you'll be.

claig · 19/01/2016 22:29

'You wish you lived in a country with limited gun control, no NHS, poor death rates for women in childbirth for a western country, shocking equality laws and horrendous gang violence.

These are the negatives our political class tell us about America and our controlled media feed us, but America is the land of freedom and free speech and people all across the world try to emigrate their for a better future. Don't believe our political class, America is still the shining example of liberty and dynamism and enterprise and social mobility to the whole world.

Athelstane, sadly, it's the second option.

We went through all this last year with Niger Farage.

Oh, and if you disagree you're Establishment, apparently.

(Still not a clue what that actually means but if it's the opposite of Trump/Farage I'm happy to be it).

GiddyOnZackHunt · 19/01/2016 22:30

I believe the correct term is Trumpers or at least it should be

It would be funny if they didn't have nuclear weapons. They wouldn't really give him the code would they?

Lweji · 19/01/2016 22:32

You're Russian?

BertrandRussell · 19/01/2016 22:34

Sorry- just arrived. Who's tearing up whose lawn now?

claig · 19/01/2016 22:34

Even the politically correct classes on BBC Newsnight have a feature on Palin endorsing Trump. They say

"Is he just a joke candidate with a new punchline or the unstoppable Reoublican nominee?"

Absolute panic among elite classes.

Hmmm, thanks Lilac I haven't been around for a few years.

I feel a bit guilty now.

On the other hand, I do think it's unfair for Claig to put the boot into those e-cigarettes like that.

GingerCuddleMonsterThe2nd · 19/01/2016 22:36

So WHO figures on maternal death figures are made up? Hmm

The right to bear arms a political myth? Hmm

Gang violence and poverty stricken areas a figment of our imagination? Hmm

Reports on equal pay for equal jobs drafted by cigar smoking monkeys at multiple type writers? Confused
