JentlyDoesIt - DP has his trial this month, will last about two weeks. Family need so many prayers and so much support at this time. Hold them in your arms, Lord. xx

PositiveAttitude - DD3 is not in great health at the moment and DD4 has recently had surgery for an on-going health problem. This problem has proved more complicated than first thought and will now be left to be dealt with in the future. Praise God for the so-far good recovery of a local Minister who has just had surgery for a brain tumour and is doing well, not even needing follow-up radiotherapy

LoveBeingAMummy - Prayers for her dad who has recently been having Chemo.

MeltedChoc - Currently going through a divorce. Prayers for her and her family at this difficult time.

BelgianBun - DH has been made redundant and is currently looking for work. Praise God that no tumour has been discovered for her beloved DD

NotQuiteGrownUp - Struggling to balance homelife and work etc. Prayers for patience and for lots of love and support to surround her. xx

WeegieMum - Had had DX of Prem-Menopause recently. Prayers for the family and friends of WM's Uncle who recently died of prostrate cancer. Praise that surgery seems to have been a success for S, who had a DX of breast cancer. Prayers for WM's MIL's next door neighbour (60) who has been in hospital with double pneumonia recently - how is she doing WM??

Toccata (FAQ) - Has been separated from H for a couple of months now and is struggling with his unreliability and looking after the boys on her own. Prayers for strength and for her ex-H to become more reliable. She currently looking for a new place to live too. xx

NormaSknockers - Niece was in hospital beginning Feb with Bronchitis - how is she doing NK? Hope she is out and bouncing back nicely!! xx

M44 - BIG situation happening in her church at the moment. Prayers for a positive way forward.

Amber - DS is goig to need surgery for an eyesight condition that has been DX. Prayers for the family as they remember their beloved Uncle. Praise that M, a teenager and friend of the family is making progress after recent heart surgery

MadHairDay - Prayers for the family and friends of a lady on MHD's Lung Disease Board who recently died Prayers for a friend's DD, L, who is very ill with Anorexia. Praise for the discharge of MHD's Niece who has recently been in hospital with a bone infection. How's she doing??

Hermya - Is approaching her 12 week scan and her DH needs a job - Please God!!

BlueEyeShadow - Prayers that her DS learns to sleep, deep and long ASAP!! Prayers for her bro as he faces important, life-changing decisions.

MrsC - Prayers that the "perfect" job would come along as she prepares for the end of her course of study. Prayers for her friend who is pregnant with twins (also has various other children) and is really struggling.

Mary - The 20 year old Great Grandaughter of Mary's Godmother is currently under-going tests for possible cancer, surround her with your love, Lord - Any more on this, Mary? Also prayers for Mary's DH who is suffering from DVT in his leg.

Soooooooooz Prayers for her children's dancing teacher who delivered twins at 27 weeks. Sdly one of the twins, Mia, died; but Erin is doing well. Wrap the family up in your love.

ArseBiscuit - Has always been an Atheist, but has recently encountered God's presence. Prayers for a nurturing and growing and a real feeling of love

CaptainCaveman - DSis has been "dry" for 11m and DNiece is in school Prayers for a collegue at CC's work who has delivered twins, one may have sustained brain damage after oxygen starvation at birth - any mroe on this CC??

teaandcakeplease - Is struggling after her and her husband separated following his
affair. He is still seeing the OW and TACP is struggling to hold her family together. Prayers for her and for her lovely children. Resolution needs to happen here. Stay close, Lord.

CloudExplosion - Needs to feel God's prescence so closely at this time.

10GreenBottles - Prayers for her 20 yr old DD who has had DX of Rheumatoid Arthritis

Stayinalive - Praise for her Sis and DH who have saved their marriage Prayers that they would go from strength-to-strength. Prayers that her sis would be Blessed with a job ASAP!!

Hangingon - Prayers for S who is studying for a PhD. She had a Stroke five years ago and is finding it all a bit much at the moment.

MusicPosy - Wants to be pregnant so much. She is 43 and has had IVF etc. She has just lost a baby at 9 weeks Wrap her and her DP up in your love, Lord. xx

CaptainDippy - Would appreciate prayers for a good friend who underwent surgery to remove a tumour in her bowel today. So so hoping that it is now done and dealt with no further action needs to be taken. She is only 35 and has 4 year old and 6 month old DS's.

I'd like to thank God we are all safe today, we nearly got run over by a car reversing onto the path we were walking on to school I had to pull ds2 to safety, dd was walking by the wall, but we all froze, the car was pushing me back, I was banging on the boot, was frightening!!! we were all in shock, driver ignored us! plus someone bumped into dh with dts in car from school pick up, only caught the wing mirror, but dts frightened again!!!!! BUT, we are all ok, thank you God!

i had a difficult time with DS yesterday at Cubs. I really don't know what to do for the best, but I am not coping when things go wrong. The thing is, i can get him to calm down and mostly join in, its passing on that info to someone else, particularly when they are short-handed. I'm even considering volunteering, even though the noise in that low-ceilinged building is almost more than I can bear, and leaves me feeling frazzled. Some prayers would be good

just to let you all know Baby E is doing really well. up and about, bandages off and seems to making an exceptional recovery! hopefully this will continue.. your prayers are very much appreciated

Hello all, reading and praying, praying and reading... sorry not to reply individually but please know I am thinking of all of you.

Here, it would appear that everycloud pretty much has another cloud attached to it. We were back in court yesterday to discover that the trial definitely will go ahead with a start date of 6th December - another 6 months of worry. So, to recap on the last 18 months, DP has been arrested and charged with a serious offence (of which I am still sure of his innocence), suspended from work for a year, the trial started and then stopped on day 2 in April this year whilst further reports were sought, DP lost his job in May (confirmed last week) has started a tribunal for unfair dismissal, the court case is proceeding to trial and DP is still tagged and curfewed until this whole sorry mess is over, meaning that he cannot apply for jobs where he'll be asked if there are any criminal cases pending.

I do not know what to do with myself, we will be ok until the end of July but then nothing, DP can claim JSA which isn't a terrible lot. I am making myself sick with worry and DP is so very low. Please pray, I don't even know what for, but please pray for us. Thank you xx

Try to trust in the Lord, worrying is so very counterproductive, but so easy to do when you do not see a way out.

We had a better night last night and DS2 managed to settle himself in the early hours. (Wow!) Still incredibly tired and poor DS1 is bearing the brunt of it. and Very grateful for continued prayers.

Back again! I got a positive outcome from the e-mail.

No news from bro or BIL, and DS2 is now starting another cold.

Jently What did your DH do? I'd say that especially considering he hasn't actually been done with anything then they can't fire him based on that alone. I'm praying for you guys though.

What a morning! We've been to A&E and back and it's not even 11 o'clock yet! DS1 fell and gashed his head, due to poor judgement on my part, probably due to lack of sleep. Feeling guilty and exhausted, while he's now more or less back to normal and driving me nuts! DS2 is now full of cold again and is having trouble feeding, wheezing, sleeping badly... It's just one thing after another, even though none of the individual things are that bad, it's getting me down.

Sorry for whining. Will try to pray instead!

Oh no, BES, what a nightmare! Thank God it wasn't any worse though! Praying for some respite for you, it always seems more difficult when things pile up!

Would welcome prayer. I think some of my mood swings may be hormonal, and I'm trying to find out more about it BEFORE I go to my Dr. I DO know I had an horrendous time with hormones in my teens, and I suspect that if I am going through the perimenopause, it is equally likely to be horrendous (and exacerbate my aspieness), but I can't find that much research has been done on the subject - even phoned the National Autistic Society! At the moment, I am finding prayer and meditation is keeping the worst of it at bay, although I had a bad time of it last week...

More good news from me

I asked for your prayers to help me decide what to do with a difficult work situation. Well, I took the plunge, and handed in my notice on the basis that I just had to trust that things would be ok.

Well, they are! I've just heard that I've got a new job, in a really lovely C of E school, starting in September. It's just a temporary contract, but it will give me time to look around for something else.

I'm keeping everyone else in my thoughts and intermittant prayers.

Mary - have you considered acupuncture for hormonal problems? I've found it very effective in the past.

Brief update from me, I've been diagnosed with SPD which is a bit of a downer. I went into work last week and was feeling quite horrid, but within a couple of hours I was feeling so upbeat and positive, I had a really really good day. God is so good.

I would appreciate prayers for mine and DH's financial situation, I'm kind of worrying about how we'll cope when I go onto SMP as we'll have quite a huge wage drop. I would appreaciate some words of wisdom if anyone has any. I would like to stay at home with my little boy until he's setttled and weaned and I'm confident with him going to childminders or nursery. I'm so thankful for my little boy and I can't wait to meet him. God has been ever so good to us with this one.

Hermya Philippians 4:6. God will never let you down. Money always comes from somewhere because your heavenly Father knows your needs.
On a practical level, I have found it very helpful to make careful notes about income and outgoings and to make little 'pots' of any money that is 'spare'. We have a pig with some money in it and I can honestly say that from the day we married that pig has never been empty.
Start now and you will have a little bit put by for when the baby comes.

Prayers for DH, has abscess, in agony! face is really swollen, emergency appointment tomorrow, but got to register at Dentist by himself, (bit difficult as he can't read and write) must phone in morning to for-warn them, maybe they can fill form in and dh just sign! just awkward for DH, makes him self conscious! bless him!

DO that's wonderful news about Morgan! I've been wondering how he is.

Prayers for everyone else too - lots of good news, which is lovely. Prayers too for all who are still in need. (BES don't be too hard on yourself - accidents happen in a flash, whether or not you are paying attention. Our worst A&E incident so far was when DS3 fell over right at my feet and split his lip very badly - needed a GA and everything to put him back together again! The point is that it happened right in front of me, and I still couldn't have prevented it, so don't beat yourself up!)

My news - my course is finished! Exams finished on Friday and I handed in my last coursework yesterday Now I just have the emotional backlash to deal with. I know it's daft but it's usually after the stress has gone that I get very tearful and irrational Praise God that I got through the exams ok (I think!) and I now have time to pray for myself ;) that I will settle back into family life without too much upset! I'm off to my bible study group this morning for the first time in a few months - I can't wait!
