Well, summer is slowly creeping up on us once more - Hurrah! Here's a round-up of the last thread's Prayer Requests for us all to meditate upon ....

BelgianBun - Has a bun in the oven!!!!! Praising God for her BFP and hoping the PG continues smoothly .... Prayers for her Dsis who is under-going treatment for breast cancer and is expected to make a full recovery

WebsterMum - Is struggling at the moment, prayers for peace and calm to come upon her at this time.

Disenchanted3 - Prayers for her Grandad who is in his final days.

LeannaBanana - Praying for her niece (4 yrs old) who is commencing the intensification stage of her treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Her name is Amelia Yves and her sister is called Lynsey.

Clockface - Facing the prospect of moving counties in Sept in order to commence her studies Prayers for her and her family as they make plans, especially moving schools for her two children

amber - On-going prayers for her DH's health and prayers for God's love to surround her as she is currently over-whelmed by circumstances, particularly after loosing her two precious pet dogs in the space of a few weeks xx

MaryBS - Prayers for her as she searches for a new job following her recent redundancy Prayers for her DS who has recently been wetting himself again and displaying agitated behaviour. Prayers for N who has commenced chemotherapy following surgery for breast cancer. For M who is 10 years old and has just lost his/her mum and for T, a friend of Mary and her DH who recently died in tragic circumstances. Bless these situations Lord.

JentlyDoesIt - Has found herself in a very difficult situation with her DP. Prayers for them as they cope this this and for protection over their precious DCs. Prayers for her DP who has an infection in his scrotum following 'the snip' and protection for them all as they head to Spain for 2 weeks. May this be a time of rest and renewal for them all. Prayers that JDI who find a new job asap too

MYJobIsMum - Prayers of resiliance for her and her DP as they challenge their DS's difficult behaviour and that he would continue to be dry at night again. Prayers for both the children as they commence sharing a room for the 1st time and protection for MJIM's sis and DP who are currently travelling the world together.

MargaretMountford Requested prayers for her niece who will be under-going an MRI today (20.04.2009) to check the extent of the cancer that has been discovered. He is only 21.

CaptainDippy - On-going prayers for hers and DH's relationship. Prayers for her BF's DH who is currently in hospital under-going tests because he keeps weeing blood and is in a lot of discomfort

Amber - thank you so much for your virtual hug the other day. It meant a lot to me. As, I hasten to add do everybody elses kind words...

Never a dull moment here - DS has chicken pox. Deep and lasting joy poor little mite is covered but hasn't had any of the pre-spot symptoms... prayers for quick recovery if you could. Sorry to take up so much prayer effort at the moment and please know that although I don't post much I am thinking and praying for you all.

Just wanted to thank you for your prayers and well wishes.

It never rains but it pours. It seems that we may lose the buyer for our flat just as we find a house that we really like. Also, the car has just cost us over £700

We are, however, getting the equipment together that we need for Beth at relatively minimal cost.

I just wanted to tell you (and thank God for) the most lovely day! I have been so depressed, and today I was watching the kids run about and thought, spontaneously "What a nice life I have" rather than "I hate my life!"

Kids slept in, went downstairs themselves and got brekkie, so I didn't have to get up till 9.30! Then I got up and made bacon rolls for us all. Dh cleared out the porch, I read the paper! We had lunch. Went shopping for sand for the sandpit and bought some nice houseplants in B&Q (kids all got something for their rooms and I rescued a poor dying African Violet reduced to 50p!). Went to Morrisons and bought BBQ stuff. Came home, weedkilled the weeds, lit BBQ, cooked fun stuff, had neighbours (x2 lots) over to eat, showered kids, put them to bed, went and sat in next doors garden (different neighbours to the BBQ ones) and drank wine and laughed loads. Also did 4 loads of washing, got all the beds changed and dried!

I can't remember when I had such a nice day, which I am sure is about a year ago. I am finally feeling like there is a light at the end of the tunnel with my illness. I will get better! I will enjoy life again!

that is good WM, today has started pretty horribly in DippyLand with P screaming her head off for no apparent reason and the two olders one arguing and fighting. DH & I could really do with some time out. Sigh ....

I haven't been on since Monday!! It's been a busy half-term and I haven't had a lot of time to myself, plus there has been Britain's got Talent to watch every evening Apologies, but have been thinking of you all and praying .... and I responded to DO's request too (lovely lady )

Your poor friend, losing their baby WM Prayers would also be appreciated for a good friend of mine who lost her baby this week. She had just had a nice, healthy 12 week scan and the following week she started to bleed She's had a tough PG; but has a DD already, so is very grateful for that. She is going into hospital tomorrow to complete the M/C process. Thank you How is your friend doing WM? Wonderful news about your SIL and bro's bubba though - congratulations to them How are they getting on??

I'm alrightish thanks. Many many new strategies in place for dealing with things, though who knows if they're very good strategies! It's a start, though, and I so love being back with my friends again. Hate it when I get scared and start overthinking and overreacting because of stress.

Could do with prayers for today's church service. It's a pentecost teenage group spectacular, and they tend to do some very unexpected things. Might try to be right by the door so I can tiptoe out if it's too much.

MJIM - Continued prayers for your poor little man with his night terrors, ds2 used to get them, lasted about 1 year (ish) give or take! we could only be there for him, it was then that ds got attached to dh's ear's (as a comforter) lol he still grabs ears when he gives cuddles out (only to family I hasten to add) what happened to dummies, blankets and cuddly toys!

CD - Hope you got to breathe and relax for a minute or two today dd hasn't got any urine infection of sorts, we still don't know what it is, she is fine 22 hours a day very confused, doctors are mift atm further tests on the cards!

COuld you lovely ladies pray for my dh? He spent most of last night dealing with the Swine Flu outbreak in Dunoon, is knackered and has to go to work now. It could be a very busy day for him!

Prayers are needed in this neck of the woods. Yesterday RAF search and rescue helecopter and police helecopter and sirens for hours. Eventually went to have a look as it was clearly over the river and kept turning over our hoouse. Got there and what people were saying that 3 dc had been pulled from river one dead. According to news its a 7 yr old lad that has died no other information on anyone else. But even ater they had found the lad the helicopters were aroound for hours. So sad. Rumours are that he is from one o thee rougher ends of the area but still beggers belief that a 7 yr old was playing by the river where numerous people have died over the years. current is very strong.

NSFN How very sad, will keep an eye open for the news and pray that God will bring good out of evil as only He can.

Prayers for dh Weegiemum, the swineflu has been buried under MPs' expenses, so to say, but must still be very hard for hardworking GPs.

TT day for DD1 today, so off swimming soon. Need to sweep dining room floor 1st though .....

apparantly he had gone there with his dad and were snorkling (makes me mad) even the best 7 yr old swimmer wouldnt have been that strong a swimmer. He went to the school literally 2 mins walk round the corner from me. Its the knock on effect to everyone else thou isn't it. Teachers, dc. Just so very very sad. one of the other lads pulled out was nephew of someone my df works with.

Oh NSFN Also prayers for the friends and family of 3 bodies that have been discovered at the bottom of Beachy Head. Apparentely one is the body of a five-year-old boy who had some sort of illness

Am touching base briefly, just to say that we are in limbo with our house situation, we still have our cash buyer, thank you Lord, but have put in offers on two houses which, at the moment, have been rejected, one of those our offer was higher than the one that was accepted, and one we had matched the highest offer, but the vendor has decided to choose someone else. .

Please pray for us, as we could still be in with a chance. He can move mountains, so if we trust He can help us move!!

Am thinking of everyone on this thread, including the families and friends of those that have lost people in the recent air disaster.
