thanks helibe!
This has been an ongoing health problem for me which was caused by pregnancy. Has been OK for 8 months until I had a mirena put in in Jan - set the whole thing off again.

What I really want is a pethidine injection - have found them brilliant for the pain - but would have to be admitted to hospital for that. And that just not a possibility for now, so I am on the strong co-codamol and dihydrocoedine and anti-inflammatories.

I move around better at home and drink more water, and dont have to pee in a tub for sieving - all round better to be at home, esp as I also have MN.

Trying to read for my exam - my but Spurgeon was a boring, arrogant man!

helibee · 11/06/2008 16:07

i understand, they tried to admit me to hospital to give me morphine but ds was only 5 monts old and i just couldn't leave him so they gave me a shot and let dh bring me home a few hours later drugged up to the eyeballs (or as i told my mil at the time i was drugged up to my bibles )

MaryBS · 11/06/2008 17:16

LOL helibee

Hope you're feeling better soon WM.

Podglet - I was at Pleshey, if that helps...

Would welcome some prayers, am feeling anxious and friendless (IRL anyway) atm...

CaptainDippy · 11/06/2008 17:43

Praise God, MJIM!

Please pray for a young girl (aged 19 or 20), widowed in Germany, has a 1yo and a 2mo. May God give her strength, protection and friends to help her at this dreadful time.

Please also pray for Susan and Eddie, who are both going through traumatic times re: cancer. Susan became a Christian after her last bout of cancer and is still struggling to cope with the fact she is dying and is very scared. I think she thought being a Christian would somehow protect her

amber32002 · 12/06/2008 08:42

Many prayers for all who've asked, and all who read too. May God comfort you and protect you this day.

Very tired today, but so pleased: I got through a big social event we'd planned for our customers, and it went really well. I think 20 years of practice at what people need to say at networking events is working.

MarsLady · 12/06/2008 08:46

So much sadness and happiness at the same time!

for those who are , and for those who are

(Rejoice with those who rejoice, Weep with those who weep)

My exam went fine. Not great, but fine. I should have passed, and that means there will be NO history EVER again!

Hooooray!

podglet · 12/06/2008 14:15

WM - glad the exam went well - how are you feeling now?

MJOM - hurrah for your little beanie and for your lovely days with your DS. I am enjoying my time with the DC at the moment, trying to have lots of fun in the garden when we can

CC - I was quite breathless because of my size and weight (I had 2 litres of water ) but my ribs didn't hurt so much. Mainly it was just blinking uncomfortable how did your appointment go? Unfortunately Poly-h does rear it's head at around the 30 week mark. Hope all is ok.

CD - how are you doing lovely?

Amber - well done on the event, must have been stressful for you.

Mary - praying for you and for Susan and Eddie. Unfortunately Pleshy doesn't ring any bells either I'm in Colchester.

Thank you all, I AM feeling better, I know you lot are my friends, it would be good to have friends nearby. I do have a couple of friends locally, but for various reasons I cannot confide in them, which means I bottle things up too much...
