Solstice blessings sisters, 'May the dawn chase the dark away'
I slept deeply last night and woke up feeling more hopeful, the heavy feeling I've been carrying for the past few days seems to have shifted. I'm going to a solstice event tonight to welcome the return of the light, and looking forward to being in the energy of like minded sisters for a little while.
Thank you again for the positive energy for my friend. She is still critical but stable. A number of us held a distance meditation to send healing to her last night, we all feel a bit helpless so at least this is something we can do.
I agree with all the sentiment around Christmas. I decided some time ago to be more selective about what I take part in, I guard my precious time, prioritising myself and my loved ones. I avoid all the work Christmas parties, drinks, etc. For me, Christmas means a chance to relax indoors, eat nice food and spend time with my immediate family. I enjoy the time between Christmas and new year, again I like to keep plans to a minimum so I'm free to take off to the coast for the day if the mood takes me, or head off to the forest.
Speakout I laughed at your description of DP's shopping habits! It's easy to get over excited by all the nice food that's in the shops, probably wise that you go with him to stop things getting out of hand!
BerthaFlapjack it's very early for snowdrops! I wish I had more time to garden. I always plan to plant lots of bulbs but somehow never get round to it.
