Happy Blue Moon to everyone.

I'm just popping in with a question if you can help please.

I charged my crystals last night, I forgot about one of them, can I charge it up tonight? Or have a missed the slot?

Hope you're all well, many blessings StarThanks

Elphame · 19/05/2019 18:55

@StarStruckStarGazer Many who work with full moon energy stretch the definition to include the day before and the day after ie a 3 day window.

How you yourself feel about this is what matters.

StarStruckStarGazer · 19/05/2019 23:03

Thank you so much, I can't see the moon tonight, hopefully tomorrow.

Elphame · 19/05/2019 23:40

The moon and its energy is there whether you can see it or not Wink.

If you are going to work with the full moon I'd recommend that you do it as close to the actual full moon as possible for the best results

MissLadyM · 19/05/2019 23:50

Can anyone recommend a good book/podcast etc to get started? Does it work??

speakout · 20/05/2019 05:28

Good morning and welcome MissLadyM. What are you looking for?

YashmisCrone

I listened to the podcast you posted- I am a great Starhawk fan anyway, so it was a real treat.
And very uplifting, came at a good time for me I laughed at the idea of mother nature being a drama queen, and was inspired at the positive idea of us entering a new era or regeneration for our earth- a message of great hope.

Thanks for posting.

Morning everyone, hope today will be magical for one and all.

Elphame I was intrigued by your tincture-making so in the interests of experiment, I threw a bit of rosemary onto both Aga hotplates last night to see if they would produce a white ash.
Nothing apart from a bit of charring so I closed the lids and checked this morning. No white ash at all.
The hotplate is hot, it'll boil a pint of water in one minute, but it's not hot enough to reduce rosemary to a white ash.
Maybe you need a more intense heat?

I echo your very wise words The moon and its energy is there whether you can see it or not

Welcome MissLadyM we have a list of previous threads at the start of this one, perhaps you can have a look at those and see what kindles your interest.

Magic Teapot time, Mine's a three tulsi, everyone help themselves to their favourite brew Smile

YashmisCrone · 20/05/2019 10:34

Glad you enjoyed it too speakout That idea also made me laugh! The woman you met yesterday protecting badger setts sounds great.

Interesting that your group facilitator is speaking a similar message Violet, there’s certainly something very powerful in the feminine rising.

On a similar note, I saw this petition earlier to call for brown hares to be protected. I thought others might like to sign. I know there’s so many of these things doing the rounds and apologies if sharing it isn’t in the spirit of the thread.

Good morning everyone,
Perching with a nice peppermint tea and bringing buns for everyone.
Busy weekend here took girls out to an agricultural show by hiring a mobility scooter and was absolutely amazed how invisible I became. I was tripped over, banged with bags and growled at. I met another lady in the same boat and happened to get chatting and it turns out she is really into tarot and herbs and very similar to a lot of us which was lovely, she had such a warm and gentle energy it was lovely.
Elphame, Blank I'm glad I'm not the only one has herb incinerating issues I thought I was doing it wrong.

I managed to get some pretty cards at the show and a rare picture of the moon after.

YashmisCrone Thank you and signed.

Loyaultemelie How annoying to be invisible, but lovely that you met a kindred soul. I love the cards too!

Having a decaff from *Blanktimes" teapot. I vary what I drink quite a bit, veering from strong caffinated coffee to the weakest chamomile and everything in between depending on my mood and time of day!

re - the incineration of the ashes. Apparently I need to take my black ash, grind to a fine powder, add more alcohol and re-burn.

I need to repeat this 3 or 4 times and finish with roasting in a covered dish in the oven at 500 degrees.

This will keep me out of mischief for a bit!

( just a small problem here, my oven died at the weekend!)

Mine's a strong black coffee please BlankTimes.

Evening. Popping in to flop down on a cushion and grab a mint tea.

I had an amazing time at the women's ceremony yesterday, but seriously tired today. I really wish some of you could have been there, it was such a fantastic celebration of the divine feminine, a really wonderful experience on the company of beautiful sisters ❤️

I went pretty deep during the meditation and was given a lot. I'm feeling inspired, just need to make sense of if all.

Yashmis thanks for sharing the petition - signed!

Loyaul I love those cards and the beautiful picture of the moon.

Love and light to you all 🙏

SalemSpellman · 20/05/2019 22:04

Evening all, I visited Glastonbury for the first time today. I can honestly say I loved it! I had lunch in the 100 monkeys cafe and had a peek into some of the shops. I would have happily spent longer but we had to get on to our next destination.

Interestingly 19 month old DD saw a sign advertising tarot reading and she pointed to the sign then to herself and said "me!" I've never owned tarot cards before but I will buy some when I see the right deck for me. I can teach little one as she gets older.

We also visited the area where are witchy ancestors came from, I feel very connected and peaceful today.

Although I liked Glastonbury and will be going back, I felt that there was a slightly strange tone to the town, I was happy enough but I felt my mood lift more as we left.

Elphame · 20/05/2019 22:36

Glad you enjoyed Glastonbury SalemSpellman . It is a strange place. It has a dark past and it attracts a lot of damaged people which I find taints the atmosphere. I never stay long

HillsBesideTheSea · 20/05/2019 22:42

Agree elphame

is there a spare cushion to flop onto? I am discombobulated atm.

SalemSpellman · 20/05/2019 23:08

@HillsBesideTheSea of course, I'll pop a brew on. Do you need a listening ear?

HillsBesideTheSea · 20/05/2019 23:18

I think I probably need patience and to trust the journey. Tarot is positive, but burning the ends and middle a bit so very tired, and feeling pulled in all directions whilst fighting the urge to say fuck it and walk away. I don't like change, I don't like upheaval or uncertainty and stress invokes the avoid response. I know change and upheaval can be a good thing in the long run but the process can be hard. iyswim. So a comfy cushion and a brew sounds lovely, thank you.

SalemSpellman · 20/05/2019 23:27

Is there a way you can look at it from a different perspective? Or just take a little rest in your journey? You will get through it, and in time this period will be a memory and a marker of the inner strength that you have.

MissLadyM · 20/05/2019 23:38

Thanks for the replies. I'm working through the links x

VioletCharlotte · 21/05/2019 08:43

Salem glad you enjoyed Glastonbury. Interesting what you say about the weird energy. I love Glastonbury but don't think I could stay too long. I went to Totnes last year, which is also on a ley line, and I really didn't like it all and couldn't get out of the place quick enough!

Hills take it easy and look after yourself as much as you can 💕

HillsBesideTheSea · 21/05/2019 08:43

I think acknowleding that I was fighting the change, that I needed to stop was enough. I slept long and deep for the first time in a week. Slept through my alarm and not more levels of late then I can deal with but nearly feel rested. Thank you again for being that ear with a brew.

BlankTimes · 21/05/2019 11:00

Glastonbury is certainly different Halloween Smile

Hills the only constant in life is change.
Maybe have some backup strategies as well as your initial plan for all sorts of scenarios, so that when change happens, it's not such a shock or an effort for you?
Bend like the reed in the wind and all that.
