This will possibly put me, but hey ho! Here is the first pictures of my she shed. I plan to do more, but this is my space where I can really be me.

All the stuff in here is for me minus the cat nip plant, which I keep in here because I don't want to run the local neighbourhood kitty crack den.

RosaWaiting · 16/05/2019 09:28

Good morning everyone

I don't always have much to say here, but this thread has been so useful. I'm starting to feel like myself again.

Loyaultemelie · 16/05/2019 09:51

Good morning sisters!

Salem kitty crack den has me in stitches as that's exactly what happened to our (very lovely) neighbour down the lane. Other neighbours cats from miles around were zonked there. I love the idea of a she shed to be yourself in m, I'm envious of you.

Elphame I have a suspicion I will enjoy some
Rhiannon research, that ties in very nicely with how I'm feeling at the moment. I'm very drawn to improving my BOS and researching further or new paths, my Dh has promised me a lovely leather bound journal at the weekend (although he isn't thinking of a BOS but still) so that will be perfect.

Loving all your lovely pictures!

The last 3 days in a row my dd2 (only 4 years old) has been really drawn to my tarot cards. Without being told how she has been instinctively picking out 3 card spreads. I'm not sure what is on her mind but all the spreads have been so reflective of her personality and the journey she's about to begin starting school in August. She also told her sister (9) to never touch them without asking me and they weren't a toy! She has always had an uncanny knack of picking out other people's emotions and recently has been bringing up topics on the rest of our minds but that haven't been discussed with her present.

Today is a day I have an itch to clean (and can't) so have asked Dh to bring down lots of my upstairs clothes I can't get to so I can get rid of any that are old, too small (lots unfortunately) and too big (some thankfully) then I will do similar with dds.

RosaWaiting · 16/05/2019 11:50

those of you posting pics of walks in lovely green spaces, I'm wondering how close you are to those green spaces in journey times?

LongingToBeByTheSea · 16/05/2019 12:26

I live in a very built up area @RosaWaiting but can be in a green area within a 5 minute drive. We're in a valley and are surrounded by hills and woodland on every side of the city. We are very lucky in that respect.

RosaWaiting · 16/05/2019 12:45

Thanks Longing

I just sometimes find it hard to judge what my best course of action is

where I live is pretty grim and sometimes I'm not sure it's worth braving the equally grim 30 min bus ride to get to somewhere really quiet

also there are houses backing on the nearest woods and I've heard people playing loud music etc

I also heard someone doing what might be shamanic drumming, I don't know, but it just spoils the nature sounds really

the nearest logical green space for after work - their bathrooms close at 5pm. Sorry for TMI but it is a consideration if I want to spend a couple of hours in a green space and then have to add travel time either side.

so there are honestly times it's better to stay home and just look at my nice peaceful pictures and listen to soothing music, even if it is lovely outside.

BlankTimes · 16/05/2019 12:48

Love the she-shed Salem

Loyaul children often display intuitive behaviour with some of our tools, my dd used to choose and lay crystals on people as a pre-schooler.

Here's something which may be of interest to our wormhole explorers, early medicine and astrology. formerly only available in the Bodleian, now online.

Came on to see good morning, but realised it's nearly 1pm. The morning has flown by!

Yashmis great tarot spread. It's interesting as I feel that fits with the messages your guide gave you earlier in the week. All about using your inner wisdom and strength to get where you need to be. Very positive!

Salem I'm jealous of your she shed, is fab!

Loyaul I loved reading about your DD playing with your tarot cards. Young children are so intuitive.

Rosa I live in a very built up area, but I can be in the countryside in about 5-10 minutes. It must be frustrating for you to be somewhere so urban and not being able to easily get out into nature.

SalemSpellman · 16/05/2019 13:20

@RosaWaiting I live in a big city, I found some unexpected green spaces when looking on google maps! I grew up in my area and found s nature reserve which is about a 15 minute walk from my house. I'm sure you know your area pretty well, but is it possible there might be surprise green area?

RosaWaiting · 16/05/2019 14:03

Salem - yes, I have something like that, probably about 30mins walk.

but no bathroom at all. Sorry to sound like I'm obsessed Grin but if I am going to be there for a couple of hours, add on an hour for walking....um, yes, I need a bathroom.

I do go there sometimes for shorter periods but I would say it's quite busy. I don't think anything that's near a Tube line is ever quiet any more on a sunny evening. The preferred place has also become a pain for large groups of men drinking on the weekends and evenings.

I'm going to have to put my hand in my wallet and start taking cabs I think. Some of these places will be about £5-7 to get to, no waiting on buses etc, and I just have to see it as investment in my wellbeing I think. I no longer have a gym membership because I have weights etc at home, so perhaps if I think of it that way, it will seem less horrifying.

I live pretty much surrounded by woodland, I can see forest out of every window, but I am not deep in the country. If I drive for 15 minutes or so I wil be in hills and woodland with maybe the odd cottage dotted here and there.

Not sure about your bathroom requirements- can you just go in the wood?

Life force is everywhere to me though, even a small weed pushing through a crack in concrete sends a powerful message.

I love the peace and solitude of living in a quiet place, where birdsong is louder than cars.
As an introvert and empath I find city life ( and I have done it for many years) totally draining.
The times I have lived in the city I have filled my homes wih plants, ferns, ivy, palms, just felt the need to grow.
Strangely than noe I live in tha forest I have very few indoo plants, maybe some seeds germinating or some basil on he windowlege, but I don't have the need tp grow inside.
As I sit and write I can hear the rustle of the gentle wind though the leaves, it is very soothing and nurturing.
Quick coffee before I have to take DD to work, she is teaching tonight, and her studio is not too far from here, a couple of miles, but is also next to my very favourite charity shop, I am looking forward to a good old browse soon!

Speakout "Not sure about your bathroom requirements- can you just go in the wood?"

Grin no, there's always way too many people around for that to be a possibility.

I will think very carefully about where I live next, of course.

queenrollo · 16/05/2019 18:27

Good evening all.

I have been absent, not even popping in to read. It all got a bit too much here at home and my light got very dimmed indeed.
It all came to a head a couple of weeks ago, and I lay my cards on the table - so to speak!
It instigated movement. As always with growth some of this is emotionally very difficult but we have to go through. There is no over, under or around.

I suddenly feel ablaze with energy again. I felt compelled to come back to this thread and spend time reading what I have missed.

I am looking to my future now and some really quite independent building of myself. I have a plan already for the Summer Solstice, and have told those around me that the day will be for me and they will have to pick up the pieces of daily life while I indulge.

rivierliedje · 16/05/2019 19:17

Yesterday was really warm and sunny so I went for walk (no coat! short sleeved t-shirt under my thin jumper! no leggings under my jeans!). Over the hills and to a deserted beach. I stripped off and went swimming. I've never done that before, I've got my legs in before, but not proper lengths parallel to the beach, in just my underclothes, in a public place (completely and utterly deserted, nearest village at least a 30 minute walk over the pathless hill). It felt so freeing and wonderful. It was freezing, but I got in slowly and started swimming and it was just amazing!
I must go out for a walk this evening too. I've been feeling quite anxious and somehow restless and unable to do things, and walking helps.

RosaWaiting · 16/05/2019 19:43

queen good for you!

river that sounds amazing!

I find a good long walk helps with anxiety too.

Lovely to see you here again, I kno things have been tough, but you have held tight and been strong. It sounds like this is a great turning point for you.

Welcome back. X

Queenrollo so lovely to see you, I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering if you were ok. So sorry things have been tough, but it sounds like you are feeling stronger now. Full moon tomorrow so time to release anything that no longer serves you 🌕

River that sounds fab and so liberating.

I've been at yoga tonight. It was a tough class, but feel amazing now and should sleep well!

YashmisCrone · 16/05/2019 22:05

queenrollo lovely to see you again. It sounds like you’ve been through a lot recently but there’s there’s drive and resolve in your energy. It feels you are sure the change is right for you.

I suddenly feel ablaze with energy again

Wonderful! Your power is manifest ✨

rivier I can almost feel the glorious cold water on my body reading your description of your swim. So cleansing, wild and free. Divine.

speakout I’m smiling in resonance reading your words

Life force is everywhere to me though, even a small weed pushing through a crack in concrete sends a powerful message

Completely agree! I hope there was treasure waiting for you in the charity shop.

Violet thank you. Yes, it feels like things are really coming together at the moment. The work issue you helped me with with your tarot reading has today been resolved in that I have a definite direction. I am relieved to know where I’m heading and there is adventure ahead! Interestingly there is a flavour of a long held personal dream within this direction. I have a sense that it’s leading me towards it Smile

It does feel like there’s a shift in the air and an energy that will propel this. These things popped up in my Facebook feed and made sense to me in relation to this.

I hope everyone has a restful and replenishing night. 💫

Good morning magical sisters.
It's a cool misty morning here, the birds are in full dawn chorus.
I am up early for a yoga class for some self nurture before a busy day.
I hope everyone finds some magical energy today.

Good morning,

It’s been brighter here than expected this morning. My car needed to be in the garage first thing so I took the opportunity to combine this with a nature boost to start the day. I declined the offer of a courtesy car- yesterday I shifted things around so I work from home.

I did some errands by foot and took the very long and hilly scenic route home. I’m so glad I did, it was just what I needed.

I’m excited about a new project and know that grounding is important right now!

Love to all x

Good morning all!
Queenrollo lovely to see you again, I'm glad you are feeling re-energised after rough times.
Rivier that swim sounds amazing, lovely way to rejuvenate.
Today is a pottering day for me but an email from school with headlice in Dd1s year suggests this afternoon may not be as peaceful so tea tree oil is coming out

VioletCharlotte · 17/05/2019 10:53

Yashmis
I'm so pleased you've got some clarity on the work situation and now know where you're headed. Your energy feels even stronger than usual right now - focused and raring to go! I love those photos, where you live looks so beautiful 😊

Loyaul
Your post made me smile. I remember those days well. I once discovered DS1 had headlice on Christmas Eve, so that was fun to deal with, on top of everything else that has to be done to get ready for Christmas!
*
Speakout* hope you enjoyed the yoga. I slept for 7 hours straight after my class last night 😊

I'm working from home today and winding down for the weekend. I've got spirit group tonight and Sunday I'm going to a women's cacao ceremony, so looking forward to that. I'm full of full moon energy at the moment and planning a ritual for Saturday night. Would love to hear what everyone else has planned.
