Thank you, thank you, thank you for the wonderful energy you sent. I slept so well, and I really wasn't expecting to. I had experienced a massive adrenalin rush of fear and it left me feeling sick and tired but the event was making my brain over-active.
I have spoken privately with one person on this thread, so please be reassured that I am safe and well. I just can't give specifics publically.

Now that my energy is feeling less fear and more strength I am going to cast a spell to protect myself and my family from the threat.

It is a bright, brisk day here and the energy outside feels very powerful so I am going to cast in the garden to make the most of it.

Unbelievable18 · 08/01/2019 10:07

Morning all. Just popping in and reading with interest. I am still in the very early stages of reading and learning. Please feel free to ignore this post and question if you'd prefer - just wondering if there was a way to gently encourage someone I've not heard from in a while but feel strongly for to contact me?

Sokere · 08/01/2019 10:11

Yes, something different about the light. Am loving this shift.

I am in a very contemplative mood. Still. Not sure I'll do another moon ritual anytime soonHmm I need to restore my own equilibrium but I have a strong need to protect someone vulnerable, fragile, so need to use my candles (but people are in and out so am getting irritated) Times like this, I wish I could just be open.

@queenrollo Pleased you are in a better place and our protective cloaks helped ease your fears a little x

@unbelievable.. I find if I think, meditate on a person it usually has some effect. However, with the usual caveat of be careful what you wish for.....

Elphame · 08/01/2019 10:38

@unbelievable As Sokere says.

If you have something of theirs or something they've given you, have that in your hand that will strengthen the call. You can also light a candle flame and use that as a focus to conjure up their face in your minds eye and call to them.

Glad you had a goodnight's sleep queenrollo

Not such a good start to the day here - the cat threw up all over my bedroom floor and then had an attack of the runs on the carpet. I think my cat sitter has overfed him....

YashmisCrone · 08/01/2019 11:47

Morning all,

Cooler and crisper here today. It was good to wake to a bright clear sky after what felt like more deep clearing dreams.

queenrollo glad to hear you had some support and got some rest. Hope today’s a better day.

Violet hope all goes well with the dentist- it’ll be a relief when it’s done.

Unbelievable18 · 08/01/2019 12:46

Thank you so much Sokere and Elphame, I've had a go.

Lapetus · 08/01/2019 16:29

queenrollo - So glad to hear you are well and had a good nights sleep.

YashmisCrone · 08/01/2019 19:53

Hope everyone’s had a good day.

It’s been a funny old day here- an energy I can’t put my finger on..

I’ve just rediscovered this documentary, I found it very soothing to watch. Just the thing for me this evening

Oh lovely- thanks for that. I've just settled down for my peppermint tea.

HillsBesideTheSea · 08/01/2019 21:31

Funny old day about sums it up here YashmisCrone although I think the amount of coffee I have drunk today probably plays a part.

Glad you are feeling in a better position today queenrollo

Good morning my magical friends.

A beautiful crisp morning here, the sun is just starting to lighten the morning sky.
I am having an early start- making a batch of candles before the troops awaken.

Morning lovelies, up and at it as they say.
A relatively busy day ahead . I spent the night fretting about sleeping in.
My little cat must have picked up on my restlessness as he was having a good old shout , so he was fed and I was caffeinated very early.
Hope you all have a lovely day.

HillsBesideTheSea · 09/01/2019 10:50

Morning.

Loving the cold crisp morning. Highly amused by all the alarmed people who you can see look more visibly cold just because I am walking about with no coat and sleeves shoved up Grin So nice to feel alive.

Finally got a response that I have been hoping for for a while. No answers just recognition that the problem I found a problem was a problem iyswim. Now answers can be sought didn't need that blood in my arm anyway Grin

I should do all the things in the house. Instead I am going to go for a long walk instead of drive up to a shop. Tbh I would spend all day out walking if I could. Love this weather. Did I say already it makes me feel alive?

Can anyone point me in the directions where I can research the link between Hecate and hares? She has come up in passing as having a link but I can't find any more evidence/information. Trying to figure out who is likely to have sent the hare so I can thank them properly.

YashmisCrone · 09/01/2019 12:13

Good morning,

A beautiful bright, crisp day here too.

speakout I love to hear of you making your magic to share with others

Soda wishing you the energy to get through the busyness required today

Hills pleased to hear you’ve got some recognition for the problem. I hope it leads to some answers and solutions.

I don’t know a lot about Hecate, other than her being a very powerful diety. I did ask for her help once and got a very quick and definite result. My ‘Animal Wisdom’ book lists the hare as corresponding with Hecate in Greek mythology but offers no further information than that.
Some of our more knowledgeable witch friends here will be able to point you in the right direction to further reading I think.

I’d always see the hare as a visit from the goddess though- protective and symbolic of cycles in our lives, linked to the feminine energy of the moon. Again, others probably have more educated knowledge about this but there’s a lot to be read about the hare as an embodiment of goddess energy, I like this folklore blog. I find it interesting what a universal symbol the hare is

Happy New Year to you all! Just trying to catch up with the thread.

I don’t know a lot about Hecate, other than her being a very powerful diety. I did ask for her help once and got a very quick and definite result.

Me too! I asked for help when I was younger and the situation resolved itself very quickly but not in a pleasant way! Made me very cautious about calling on her again. Grin

Hill, I’m not aware of any connection between Hekate and hares - she has other animals she is more usually associated with. It might be worth checking out Sorita d’Este’s writing on her.

YashmisCrone · 09/01/2019 14:05

boldy Happy new year to you too!

And yes, same here re: Hecate. I made a respectful offering of thanks and never asked again Grin live and learn don’t we?!

Elphame · 09/01/2019 14:17

Have a look at Melangell Hills. She's been christianised but almost certainly has goddess roots. Her shrine is venerated by christian and pagan alike and the church is built on a much older sacred site.

Good afternoon everyone, well I use good loosely in this house hope you are all faring better. We are all very unsettled here especially myself, dd2 and boycat. Dd2 and I have been anxious and finding it hard to concentrate then both came down with migraines mid morning. Back up but feeling fragile. Boycat has been anxious and following me so close I have walked on him a few times and sitting on me continuously including when I went to bed ill Confused

With regards to Hecate I have the greatest respect for her from previous encounters but have seen others I knew in my younger days call upon her lightly and that went awry so I definitely make sure to have very clear intentions there.

speakout · 09/01/2019 19:17

Loyaultemelie

I hope you are feeling calmer and more settled this evening.

Hello flameycakes 👋 it’s good to have you join us

Loyaultemelie hope things are feeling calmer with you now, sounds like a very unsettling day for you.

I took a leaf out of Hills book this afternoon and made time to walk some errands I would usually take the car for- trying to squeeze them in around a busy schedule. I took some peppermint tea in my flask cup and stopped by the river, watched a squirrel gathering foliage then home via some charity shops where I found some sweet little Kilner type jars. The sun setting with the lovely new moon in the sky were beautiful. The photos I took on my phone don’t do it justice. Very nourishing. I promised myself I’d make time to do it more often

Yashmis what beautiful photos. Just looking at them is making me feel relaxed. Sounds like you had a lovely afternoon.

Now Christmas is over and I'm back at work, I'm missing being able to get out into the countryside every day, especially when the days are so bright and crisp. Hoping to make up for it at the weekend and get out and about.

I'm planning some bedtime yoga shortly and an early night ❤️

YashmisCrone · 09/01/2019 21:12

Thank you Violet, it was lovely and I’m reflecting on the benefits of carving out a couple of hours to do it. I know I’m lucky to be able to. Tbh I’ve often not done so because it’s a steep hill to climb to get home! Blush

I hope you can get some time to reconnect at the weekend and maybe on your lunch break when you’re able to work from home. It makes such a difference doesn’t it Smile

HillsBesideTheSea · 09/01/2019 21:38

Elphame thank you for that suggestion, it was incredibly illumination and contextually makes a lot of sense.

Yasmine ironically I did not get out for that walk. I remembered an errand that needed to be done a couple of hours away. Which in the end was a wasted trip. Your walk looks stunning. The energy seeps out of those pictures
