I think the magic is in the intention and that makes what you are doing so special.
I had one of those moments last night that was so absolutely perfect the memory and feelings will stay with me for ever. I was just looking at the sky.
Middle of the night, couldn’t sleep for this stupid cough so got up. I was standing at the back door with my cat and the moon was blazing through a fluffy blanket of low cloud. The cloud looked like wind blown snow. Small patches of breaks in the cloud looked like a single line animal tracks with the starry night sky peeping through them. It was a moment of absolute tranquility and connection with the Goddess.

That sounds a lovely thing to make speakout. I haven't heard of witch bottles. I must admit, I've held back on spellwork as I've become so involved with Tarot but think I may be getting nudged in that direction.

@Maidenmothercrone That description sounds so lovely. I have yet to see the Moon this season. I miss the wide, open skies that I recall from childhood visits to the country. I love the sky so much.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday. Mine will be busy with people and cooking but I love it.

You are so right! I have had some people tell me that my little bottles are not "proper" magic, or I am using bottle magic in the "wrong way".
My gandmother carried on a tradition that her mother taught her- so I know that dates back to 1860.

It works for me and feels right!

Good morning everyone. Some wonderful descriptions of special moments there maidenmother and Speakout. Nature is so magical isn't it?

No beautiful sunrise here unfortunately. We've got thick cloud that has been here for days. I'm hoping it will shift soon as it seems to be affecting everyone's energy levels.

I'm still in bed, which is unlike me but I've been so tired recently, I feel I need to rest as much as possible. The yoga retreat last weekend wiped me out, I think I'm still letting stuff go which is why I'm so tired. I know I'll reap the benefits eventually though!

I'm planning to do some batch cooking today, I like to have a freezer full of home cooked meals. My teens are so busy, I never know when they're going to want feeding, so it's nice to have some meals prepared so I can make sure they have something decent to eat. Other than that, I'll be going for a walk with the dog and then meeting some good friends for coffee this afternoon.

SpeakOut personally I don’t think there is a ‘proper’ or ‘correct’ way to magic. It’s in you and how you manifest that gift is entirely down to you.
Imagine someone trying to tell you the correct and proper way to be YOU! That’d be downright rude and rather silly of them IMO.

I have a dear friend who has given me similar items to those you describe. They are made with love (powerful magic) and beautiful, magical, positive intention. I treasure them.

I've enjoyed scrying In the fire with you ladies, I've also enjoyed looking at clouds and seeing images and messages. It's also a reminder to sit down and appreciate the natural world around us.

I was pleased to learn that my daughter's nursery are encouraging the little children to have an interest in nature. The staff collected some fallen leaves from outside and let the children play with them.

That sounds like perfect practical witchcraft to me. Light a candle as you cook to honour the goddess within you and the love you are stirring up in the kitchen.

What time are you cooking? I will light a candle too- the flames can burn together , and it can be a way of me giving you a helping hand.

I'm not suggesting online spell work- there are other places for that, but we could unite to bring a clear positive energy to this thread, each other, a way of connection?

If anyone is interested we could all light a candle over a specific hour, it will clear out any old cobwebs and dust from this chat thread and share some positive energy around?

I was very grateful for the support and insight I’d received here yesterday with my impromptu fire reading...

I started the day by lightning a candle (anointed with my lovely star child ‘crone oil’) to express my gratitude and send love to you all. I pulled a card thinking of our group and made loose leaf tea, asking for blessings and guidance for our group (so it’s not all about me this time!)

I just came on here to post this and saw what you’re suggesting. Wow. Again.

So yes, candle burning (I planned on leaving it so) I can see a heart shape in the tea leaves (not much else...) and I’m sending love and blessings to you all.

Such lovely comradrie and support on here and love for nature.

I can definitely TRY and join candle connection at 4pm but and it is a big but, the building I live in has very strict fire safety rules and sensitive smoke alarms (small flats)
