Provided it dosen't have your name and address on it it'll be fine!

I can do the catastrophise thing very well too.

VioletCharlotte · 23/11/2018 16:41

Hello, just checking in with you all. It's a very grey and miserable day here. I'm hoping the weekend will be brighter. I was disappointed not to see the full moon last night as it was covered by clouds. I am feeling it's energy though, feel like I've got my 'get up and go' back after a period of low energy.

I'm going to candlelight yin yoga tonight for some Friday night relaxation, perfect start to the weekend 😊

I hope you're all well.

Sokere · 23/11/2018 17:04

You always seem to do such fun things!

I'm still quite down (I miss everyone on the thread) but also have been having too many fall outs. People taking advantage for too long, so had to be said. But still feeling a bit sad. How is everyone else doing?

Elphame · 23/11/2018 17:51

I think it's that time of year as well as a result of your own personal development Sokere. Hopefully things will start to get easier.

The housework bug has bitten badly here. After the huge clear out yesterday I tackled the study. I'm a great believer in if you leave paperwork festering long enough you can just throw it out - loads of old investment statements through the shredder and the room looks loads better. The books though are still an issue - I need at least one more bookcase! Nowhere to actually put one of course....

Might get back to my incense making tomorrow. I made some kyphi last year and it still isn't dry enough to use. UK sun does not have the power of the Egyptian one it seems. I had the brilliant idea last night of putting it in my dehydrator! I plan to try it tomorrow and see what happens

Sokere · 23/11/2018 18:08

You always make me smile Elphame. I love your down to earth approach. I hate sorting paper work so am going to adopt your philosophy and just bin it from now on.

VioletCharlotte · 23/11/2018 18:47

Sokere sorry you're feeling down. I'm missing the others from this thread too. Seems like we've lost old friends. I had a bout of falling out with people a little while ago. I think sometimes you just get to the point where you've had enough with other people's crap! Take it easy and look after yourself this weekend.

Elphame you make me smile too. Sounds like you've been really busy! I love having a good old clear out of old junk. It's so therapeutic Smile

sockportal · 23/11/2018 19:50

I too had a bout of falling out with people, it's upset me for the last year. However over the last few weeks I've had a realisation that I don't actually miss those people and my life is now drama free and I can concentrate on me and my family.

Ladies some of you may remember that I was having a rubbish time job hunting. I've been a bit apprehensive about mentioning this, but I've been offered a job. It's outside of my normal field but by some strange coincidence I will be working alongside a colleague I knew from my old industry. The universe did have different plans for me!

Sokere · 23/11/2018 20:30

@sockportal Congratulations on your good news! I agree we often look back and realise how much better we are without certain people in our lives. This time, I was actually standing my ground for someone else but confrontation is usually draining.

VioletCharlotte · 23/11/2018 22:13

Congratulations sockportal that's great news. So pleased for you 😀

Elphame · 23/11/2018 22:36

That's super news @sockportal. Really pleased for you. When do you start?

TooManyPaws · 24/11/2018 02:34

Wonderful news, @sockportal! Congratulations 👏👍💐

Elphame, sounds a bit like the three-drawer filing system. The first month you put all the filing in the top drawer. The second month, you move it to the second drawer and the new stuff in the top drawer. Third month, all moves down a drawer and new in the top as before. Fourth month, moving all down one again and the third drawer gets moved out into the bin because no one's needed to look at it... 😂

VioletCharlotte, I was taught that the full moon affects the three days around it and work can be done during that time rather than just on the day of the full moon which was Friday night according to my app and planner, as well as eyeball tonight. I'm also getting sudden rushes of blood to the head about tidying up but it's being going on for a week or so. I think I'm simply thoroughly fed up about everything just sitting around thanks to half finished renovations etc. The two weeks after Yule is planned for stripping and painting.

GeeIneverthoughtofthat · 24/11/2018 09:11

Congratulations @sockportal. Wishing you every success in the new role. 🍾

To all who are feeling somewhat out of sorts - I also have that meh feeling and had a few rather irritating days this week. However I finally had a work project come to fruition yesterday and another is looking promising.

Looking forward to a couple of days self care. Hope that everyone has a magical weekend. 🌟

VioletCharlotte · 24/11/2018 10:38

Morning all. Wet and miserable day here again today. I've been to a body balance class this morning, now going home for a coffee. Quiet weekend planned. I want to spend some time meditating and just grounding myself as the next few weeks are going to be busy.

Hope you all have a relaxing weekend ❤️

speakout · 24/11/2018 11:24

Good morning.

Just catching up here, lovely to see all you beautiful moon women.

I have had a week of shadow work, just resurfacing and feeling refreshed, the full moon was a great release and I have learned a lot this week.

I bought myself a citrine crystal ball, citrine and | are happy bedfellows, it's such an uplifting stone.

sockporta congratulations! How lovely that you have created this opportunity for yourself. Lucky employers to have found you.

VioletCharlotte I hope you enjoyed your balance class, it's a lovely exercise, you are wise to be digging your roots in a little deeper when you know there is windy weather ahead.

It is very damp here today too, but misty and still, the ground is sodden, the smell of the forest, damp decaying and fecund is so fragrant, mossy, earthy and sweet.

My mind is turning now to the festive season, I will be posting my cards abroad this week, amazing to watch the seasons turn like a great stone archaic wheel, nothing can stop that movement!

I hope everyone has a magical weekend.

Hey! Speakout so nice to have you 'home' againSmile

I'm glad you feel refreshed following your shadow work. Sometimes we just need that space. I'm not very talkative atm so don't have a lot to post but always enjoy reading this thread. My tarot card for today was the Hermit, a little apt for how I'm feeling. Think it's my way of recharging before the demands of the season can't be ignored anymore. I love that picture btw. The colour is beautiful.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend

Sokere

Hi!!

We all need that "coorie" in time, to turn inwards, to repair, reacquaint, how intuitive of you thta you picked the Hermit- telling you that you are doing exactly what you need right now.

My Tarot pick yesterday was the ten of wands, telling me that i am in danger of taking on too much burden, which I do, so it was a reminder to let things go a little and let others carry themselves a bit too.

Good Afternoon,

Just catching up having also been in a ‘clearing’ whirl! It’s felt a lot like purging actually. I think I’ve got the same bug as Elphame!

Here’s what happened to my old paperwork Grin 🔥

It turned into an impromptu ritual of release. I seem to have had a lot of clearing (physical and symbolic) to do this year. I can relate to those clearing challenging dynamics from their lives recently. It seems to have been a theme for me this year. I tend to go with what I’m feeling and I’m hoping I’ll feel a shift towards manifesting the new as the year turns.

The lovely ace of pentacles this morning tells me that’s probably the point of all this!

Feels like that might be a general theme amongst my lovely sisters here too. I can relate to how you’ve been feeling Sokere I agree with Elphame that a combination of the time of year and personal development work contributes. Hold faith for your greater good in the long term Flowers

Pawnee well done on that release! Sounds like it was a big deal. I get that. You’ve taken the leap of The Fool and I’m rooting for the right results for you.

Delighted to hear of things coming together for sockportal and Gee Fabulous news that has cheered me no end Smile

sockportal I love the synchronicity of your previous colleague being present in a new sector as you branch out. Feels auspicious to me.

Violet you always give me such lovely ideas of nourishing to do. I love your gentle, expansive, open energy and the strength that seems to drive you Smile

speakout I love the look of that citrine ball. I find citrine to both cleansing and energising. Good to hear you’re feeling refreshed Smile

Well, I’d better get on, a Christmas fair and family visiting await.

Blessed be sisters 💜

I have been doing a lot of astrological studying this week too as part of my shadow work. Getting to know my natal chart a bit better.

I did an astrology class in 1983, before the times of the internet. calculations were complicated and lengthy, we needed great hulking books like the Ephemeris to work out planetary positions and aspects.

I studied my natal chart at length then, but coming back to it decades later I was able to see things in a new light and understand aspects in a different context, it has given me a lot if insight and food for thought this week.

I hope everyone is nurturing themselves with compassion this weekend..

What a great Tarot pick.
And an amazing picture of fire.
Do you have a dog?

I keep very little in the way of paperwork. All information from bills, bank statements etc can be easily retrieved if needed.
I am a chucker ooter!

OP posts:
YashmisCrone · 24/11/2018 12:46

Thank you Smile

Yes, I’m definitely in a chucking it all out kind of mood! A carful to the charity shop, another to the tip and then this... I’ll have an empty house before I’ve finished Grin

I loved the fire. I thought of you telling us about fire scrying as a child. I couldn’t see anything but it was a wonderful, much needed energy..

I used to have a dog, not currently. I’m missing a familiar actually. Why do you ask?

speakout · 24/11/2018 12:51

YashmisCrone

I see a dog very clearly in the fire, in fact two dogs or the same dog twice,, collies types, young ones maybe with but alert jolly puppy ears.

Just wondered if you knew these dogs?

Speakout it's so lovely to hear from you and glad you're feeling refreshed. You bring such a lovely, warm, reassuring energy to this thread.

The citrine ball is beautiful. I bought a piece of citrine when I was in Devon last weekend. It's such a lovely crystal. I'm going to use it for work on my sacral chakra.

YashmisCrone I love the fire picture. A great way to get rid of old paperwork!

Clearing out seems to be the theme of the day. One of my friends has just said she's doing the same. Clear that old energy out and make room for the new energy as we move closer to Yule. Like Speakout I'm a chucker outer.

Love and light to you all 🌟💕

That's the one, I see that dog at the top of the fire with a playful expectant look- the look that dogs have when they know you are about to throw a stick, ears alert, eyes full or alert energy.

Dogs are lovely creatures.
