BES has no computer at the moment and has sent me a very comprehensive list of prayers partners.
Rather than put this is the middle of an ongoing thread I thought it would be better to start a new thread, so all the names stay at the top.

amberlight - for her work supporting people with autism, and for health and happiness for her and her family.

BlackEyedSusan - for all that she has to juggle as a single mum, for ds who has ASD, dd who might have ASD and dyspraxia (waiting for appointments) and for her mum. Also for the computer to be mended

Above all, we pray for PA herself, who is always there for others when they need her, for her studies, and for a potential house-move.

Prayers for peace and well-being all around

This was the message from Joseph's mother tonight. I share with her permission and thanks for our prayers.

"We have some difficult news about Joseph.

We saw Bob last week and agreed that the oral chemo didn't seem to be making any difference to the growth of the cancer so Joseph has now stopped treatment and is on palliative care.

He will hopefully begin a short course of radiotherapy at the end of the week with the aim of shrinking the tumours in his head so they don't bother him as much - Bob believes that one of these is causing the problematic nose bleeds.

We don't know how much time we have left with him, but it won't be more than a couple of months at absolute best, though it could be considerably less. Obviously, Joseph and Eve have absolutely no idea about all this.

Thanks for all your support."

I will continue to pray for Joseph and his family. That is indeed very difficult news. How very sad for them to have come so far and be reaching the end of the road. May God be with them all and they be surrounded with love.

Bit of a lurker, but have been on these threads before. I'm suffering from general anxiety at the moment, and I've just discovered moths in my house. Now I can't stop thinking about moths and hoovering the house, its making me very anxious. I just need some peace, we've had a terrible month and it's really taken its toll on us all and I feel so stupid worrying over a few moths but it's always the little things isn't it. Thanks all.

Welcome Socks, lurkers always welcome. Do you mean the moths that come in at night or the ones that get into your clothes and eat them?
Tell us a bit about the 'terrible month' you've had if you tink it helps, but I will pray for you in any event.

Worrying about moths is not stupid Socks - DD is phobic about them. I regularly have to do moth hunts. You can get things in B&Q to put in wardrobes and in your rooms to keep them away. One thing is like an air freshener stick but with some anti-moth stuff - it works. I am due a trip to B&Q to replace our moth-proofing.

I'm so sad to hear that news about Joseph and am praying for them all.

Welcome socks and never feel that anything is too small for prayer. It is causing you anxiety and God wants his children to be free from worry so praying that you will know peace today.

Thanks for all prayers - hospital finally got to the bottom of what's going on so starting a new course of different antibiotics that it should hopefully respond to this time. Sigh.. A bit tired! But getting better.

Thank you Dutchoma for the update about dear Joseph. So, so sad. I will continue praying for all the Trazzles- especially their beautiful boy.

prayers for everyone involved in the incident in London tonight. Dear God, please keep people safe. Hold those who are hurt and suffering. Let goodness and light still shine in this darkness. Amen.

Also praying for Abdirahman Mohamed and his family this evening. 17yo stabbed to death in my part of London. Rise of knife crime is terrifying.

prayers for those injured, for witnesses who are traumatised, for those who are lost and possibly in the river. for paramedics, drs and nurses to save all they can, for the bereaved. prayers also for htose who were effected by previous incidents as this brings up all the trauma again.

prayers for those who are scared for their relatives and those who are now frightened to go about their daily life.
