Dutchoma · 18/03/2017 21:03

BES has no computer at the moment and has sent me a very comprehensive list of prayers partners.
Rather than put this is the middle of an ongoing thread I thought it would be better to start a new thread, so all the names stay at the top.

amberlight - for her work supporting people with autism, and for health and happiness for her and her family.

BlackEyedSusan - for all that she has to juggle as a single mum, for ds who has ASD, dd who might have ASD and dyspraxia (waiting for appointments) and for her mum. Also for the computer to be mended

Bloomed- New year, fresh start

Cocoaleaves - for issues around the safety of her DS.

Colabottles64- struggling with infertility.

DancingUnicorn - new to the thread, most welcome

Dontbesilly - for strength as she grieves the loss of her dad, for her DD's school issues, and for Dont's recovery from a car accident. For DH and his recovery from a heart attack and finding her phone!

drspouse - for happiness and a warm welcome in her new church and for dcs

DutchOma - with gratitude for all she does to support people on this thread and elsewhere.

EddSimcox - for her dd, for her relationship with DP and her parents and her growing faith.

FaithLoveandHope - for her anxiety and depression to lift and for her to be able to avoid falling into despair and self-harm, and for her relationship with her DSD.

girlandboy- family and faith

Lissette-anxiety and thanks for lots of prayers for others on this thread.

MadHairDay - for her health, and those pesky lungs. For her friend.

Musicposy- CT scans, diagnosis and treatment, giving thanks that some progress with diagnosis has been made

Nickel- for church and her disability, and a friend moving on from DV

NoRoomForALittleOne - Giving thanks that he operation was successful. For freedom from pain and recovery.

Orchidflower1- for help with her anxiety and the relationship with her husband

PositiveAttitude - for her whole family, but especially her DD1 who has been depressed, her dgs who was born early and poorly, her mum and dad, her DH and his work. Above all, we pray for PA herself, who is always there for others when they need her, for her studies, and for a potential house-move.

QoF - for her relationship with her DH.

sadandanxious- for help with anxiety

StillSmallVoice MIL has an invasive malignant melanoma for dd and historical abuse investigation.

Tunnocks - after the loss of her husband
Trazzletoes- for her young DS, Joe, who is having treatment at Great Ormond Street Hospital- bereavement, losing her DH

TUO - who has had to withdraw from the thread for a while through business in real life.

Zombie clan- remembering Candy and MummyLin

And also thinking of friends who haven't visited for a while, or who pop in only occasionally, including: abbsismyhero, ALittleFaith, Anjelica27, Aphie, applesandpears33, Badders123 Bluetinkerbell, clementineorange, CoolCarrie, DancingUnicorn, FlappysMammyAndPopeInExile guinessgirl (how is your friend?)HardyLeodicean itshappenedagain, Kaykat, JugglingFromHereToThere, ktef, LarrytheCucumber legohurtswhenyoustandonit,LifeOfBriony,LittleBootsTheBabe, Mary, originalmavis, ozymandiusking Pandora97, pklme SESthebrave shortscotty,SingaSong12 SparkyStars Sugarpiehoneyeye The Woollyback'sWife Weegiemum, ZippidiSoozi and others.

And, as always, prayers for anyone I've forgotten (with apologies), for all who lurk but don't post, and for newbies who may not have posted yet.

So very sad. The people in Manchester are lovely. I remember the beautiful peace of the cathedral. Praying for all involved.

Orchidflower1 · 23/05/2017 15:53

Oh lord give strength to those suffering directly or indirectly from the horrors in Manchester. Wrap your love around them.

BlackeyedSusan · 23/05/2017 22:57

and for the police and army as they work to protect us. May God give them the breakthrough they need, to eliminate the potential threats.

CocoaLeaves · 24/05/2017 05:58

Yes - I join these prayers.
MHD is right when she says man's inhumanity to man (women and children). I pray for safety and peace.

BlackeyedSusan · 24/05/2017 16:36

I am not at school, not picking up ds from the tricky after schol club. dd can not attend due to broken arm, and there has been other disruption at school today so he is already here. Smile

CocoaLeaves · 24/05/2017 17:56

Does that mean greater peace in your household at least bes?

BlackeyedSusan · 24/05/2017 22:03

yes. it was better this evening. I am extremely hormonal, hot and shattered though.

SingaSong12 · 24/05/2017 22:45

Please pray for me and the client I tried to help today at work. Although I feel in some ways privileged to have spoken to them it was very tough and I'm still trying to deal with hearing something difficult and wondering if I handled it badly.

Dutchoma · 24/05/2017 22:53

Praying for you and your client Singasong. I'm sure you did the best you could under the circumstances.

I found out yesterday that a dear friend may have a reoccurrence of a serious medical issue. She is having an MRI at the weekend, an may require surgery. She has already had the surgery twice in her lifetime, and it is gruelling and terrifying. Please can you pray for her, for good outcomes for the MRI and that the surgery is not required.

Dutchoma · 25/05/2017 14:45

Of course DancingUnicorn.

Bloomed · 26/05/2017 11:14

Hello again. I've had some really awful news and would be grateful for prayers.

Dutchoma · 26/05/2017 12:01

Sorry to hear that Bloomed. Share if you want to, no worries if you don't. You will be in my prayers anyway.

Prayers Bloomed - may God be with you Flowers

Also prayers for your friend DancingUnicorn and for you and the client you sought to help Singasong . I am sure you handled things the best you could; that is the best any of us can do.

Prayers all around; I read through the OP list and have prayed for all in need, I add my prayers for others in need or in difficulties.

Bloomed · 26/05/2017 23:56

Thank you Oma and Cocoa. I am adding my prayers. I hope I can sleep tonight.

DancingUnicorn · 27/05/2017 09:16

Thank you so much for the prayers for my friend. Much appreciated.

I was praying this morning for God to fill our hearts with his amazing love so much that his love overflows into those around us. I don't know why. I just know there is so much more love than hate in the world, because the world is full of Gods love, which is indescribable and unmeasurable. ❤️

CocoaLeaves · 27/05/2017 09:52

That is beautiful and much needed Dancingunicorn thank you for sharing it, I will hold that prayer in my heart ❤️

Lissette · 27/05/2017 21:39

That's just lovely Dancingunicorn 💓

drspouse · 27/05/2017 21:56

Thanks for that Dancing. Lovely thoughts.

Slight issue with Sunday school teacher and DS. Need to talk to the vicar as I'm pretty sure he's not aware and the teacher has decided this unilaterally. Won't go into details!

Praying for others but I'm on the app so can't do personal mentions.

amberlight · 28/05/2017 07:50

Back from a very blessed retreat in the Holy Lands, where I prayed for all. Continuing to do so, as I read quietly.

BlackeyedSusan · 28/05/2017 13:52

did you get to church MHD. prayng for those pesky lungs hosting allsorts of nasties.

please pray. the usual.

BlackeyedSusan · 28/05/2017 20:19

sorry for the spelling before. I was posting urgently before small eyes could see.

been praying mhd, hoping you made it to church.

not going to church last week means church is harder this week. oh and going to the midweek church with the boy midweek...

his latest tactic is not to come into the flat. there are fingernail marks on all the paimted surfaces from the binshed to the front door as I carried him up like a sack of spuds. it was peel the left hand off the railings and restrain, then peel the right hand, then the left, then the right, then the left.

then there was the starfishing outside the front door, very enterprising.

when we were in there was the meltdown and trying to prise the key out of my fingers as I locked the door to stop him running away. bending fingers right back... but there are some advantages of hypermobility in that they do that normally.
