Yippee CD (I am a poet!!).

So sorry to hear about little Lewis, praying for him and his family.

Rosey how are you feeling now? Any better with the Crohns?

Mary - I pray you soon feel better, there are some nasty viruses around at the moment. Nice to be off work, rotten to be off coz you're ill though.

Panda how was the meet up? Where did you have it? Hope it was good fun?

Huge praise to God, for I finished my counselling this week. I am truly blessed for God to send me such a gifted counsellor, to whom I have been able to tell my darkest scariest memories/thoughts and feelings. Phew, what a looooong 18 months it has been but worth every second, every panic attack and every single tear I shed. God is good and look at where he has led me! From a wallowing pit of despair and panic, to a calm peace, understanding and acceptance that yes, I was abused, but I am a SURVIVOR and it is God's love for me (even when I couldn't see or feel it) that has pulled me through. Yippee!!

Nothing to worry about but GP has referred me to breast clinic for a small lump in my right breast. Feels sure its benign but would really appreciate your prayers. Appt is 10.05 on 8th Feb.

Bless you all you lovely bunch!!!!

CCM - your smiling is infectious . Praying that lump of yours is benign. You're being very strong about it. God is good and he will look after you, as He did during those 18 months of counselling.

DS is fine - DD is still feeling a little under the weather, but she's coping. I'm feeling tired after an exhausting day doing nothing and I shall wear myself out in exactly the same way tomorrow!

Can I just say "Lord, I don't know why you picked me but I'm glad you did and THANKS!"

Because that's how I feel at the moment

Could do with some prayers re: childcare at halfterm. I haven't got anything sorted yet, and my options are fast running out...

FA - praying for your friend's DH and for your vicar too...

MarsLady · 30/01/2007 21:57

CD.. email me your whereabouts... though I'm sure I have your addy somewhere and I'll just plan to visit around your EDD

Great news from the hospital. Baby has a slight heart murmur but it should settle in the next couple of weeks. A check up is booked for May and apparently if all is not well it is completely fixable. Thank you for your prayers (esp as I only pop in with needs)atm.

CaptainDippy · 31/01/2007 10:42

Yippee! to you Fellow Captain - So glad God has been so good to you - and to us all - We are all blessed, eh!!? Will be praying for your appt at the Breast Clinic sweetie - you are so strong, I admire you - Praying it is benign - Keep us imformed (and remind us about appt nearer time too - scatty mummies that we are!! )

Glad you are all feeling a little better Mary - Praying you continue to improve. [hugs]

Praise God there was nothing more serious with the little Bubba Marsy - What's the next course of action? Awwww, bless you "coming to visit me around my EDD" - I am in Eastbourne, East Sussex and I would love to meet you, regardless of whether you do any "Doula-ing" or not!! My EDD is April 26th, but I think I'll be early - DD1 was 4 days late and DD2 was 4 weeks early - never an "exact science" these bloomin' babies, eh!!?

Went out for my 1st "Solo Drive" to church prayer meeting last night ..... felt totally normal which surprised me - all so exciting!!

Have meeting with church leader and his wife next Tues evening (will remind you nearer time too) to discuss our future in the church etc, so please pray for that .....

Will be starting Feb Thread on Thurs afternoon btw!

Can't wait to get broadband ....

roseylea · 31/01/2007 13:51

HI everyone!

Just a quick hello.

Glad the baby was okay MarsLady!

Glad you are driving CD! Enjoy your new mobility!

Mary how are you? How's your dd? 'Exhausting day doing nothing'...I know what you mean! I'm having a big mega-housework day today...

Hi CCM! What a journey you're coming through. Thank God that He holds us in his arms of love. I'm praying for your appt. The Crohns is under control now thank the Lord! I did have to go on to Prednisolone in the end but I have already reduced from 30mg to 20mg a day so that's good. I've got a 6 week plan to come off them. I am feeling the effects in terms of getting stressed and having insomnia at night which is no fun, so I really do want to come off them as soon as is safe. Thanks for asking!

I'm praying for your friend and her dh, FA. May the Lord bring strength, comfort and healing.

Oh well, ho hum, the housework beckons (or mocks me?!?) I'd rather be househunting on line but I'll have to save that as special treat for when I've done the kitchen...

PandaG · 31/01/2007 16:37

Hello all

Rosey - so glad to hear that the Chron's is under control again. Praying that you will be able to come off the drugs quickly, but still feel the benefits without he side effects.

CD Well done for driving on your own. It is a great feeling How are you doing re anxiety/depression flower?

Mars - good news about the baby

Mary, how are you doing today?

Fannieannie, will pray for your vicar, and for your friend and her family. Praying that you are able to 'be there' for her, as she has been there for you, iyswim.

Buggybrolly - are you still around?

The meet went well thanks - had 5 MNers plus assorted children at my house for lunch - 2 I know really well, one I have met a few times, and one I had only met once. It was fine, enjoyable to meet up for a couple of hours.

It is the PTA meeting tonight, hopefully we will have a few new faces, as the meeting is straight after the new parents' meeting at school - we made it then hoping a few people would stay on. It is a bit nerve-wracking though, chairing a meeting with new people.

CaptainCaveman · 31/01/2007 19:00

Hi

ds (2.8) asked me to insert these smileys because he likes them. Oh hang on, another one for daddy .

Hope all is well, the Cavemen are fine and daddy has just gone to the pub.

Love and prayers to all

Glad the Meet-Up went well Panda - how was the meeting??

I really have waaaay to much to do this evening, so have to go now, but see you all tomorrow!

Notquitesotiredmum · 01/02/2007 09:25

Flying by to say good morning and God bless.

roseylea · 01/02/2007 10:59

HI everyone!

aaagggh insomnia! Was awake until the wee hours this morning - thunping headache now. Please could you pray that I can start sleeping properly again?

It's all got a bit stressful here tbh. Our mini is still off the road, which means that dh is coming home from work every evening, and going straight off to fix it. It's taking ages and I'm fed up with never having a decent conversation with my dh! He's also going away for the weekend (without us ) and I just want some normal, relaxed, happy family time together!!!

Dh also thinks I'm getting obsessed with moving house...my head is too fuzzy to elaborate much atm but I just so so want to find somewhere to settle down etc etc and dh is much more functional in his outlook on such things whereas for me it's a really deep emotional and spiritual need....eeeekkk...which I don't think he understands (bc he's always off fixing the bloody mini! so I haven't poured out my heart and soul to him exactly)

Aaaagggghhh can't life get a bit much sometimes?!? An estate agent is coming round soon to value our house....it has never ever been this clean and tidy, ever!

Okay, rant over. Breathe deeply, Rosey!

I'm going to put another piccie of a diff house on BBRU. Can I vent my obsession on you lot? Please?!?

sorry to be selfish and me me me - I'll post again later and tell you that I am think ing of you and praying for you all!

CaptainDippy · 01/02/2007 11:36

Morning - DD2 just woken up (bum) so only a quick one (was hoping to start collating the requests for the next thread ... sigh....)

Praying for your sleep, your car and your housing obssession (LOL) rosey - Quite happy to look at anything you want to post on BBRU - I LOVE looking at houses - kind of sad our quest is over for the time being, iykwim!!?

Feeling a bit sick - I am not sleeping great either.

How is everyone else doing today? Feeling any better Mary??

Realised last night we haven't heard from katzg or her sis for aaaaaagggggeeeesss, hope they are doing ok, they used to be v.regular posters.

MaryBS · 01/02/2007 12:08

Feeling a bit jaded still. Just got up after sleeping all morning (once I'd taken the children to school). I don't like feeling like this

RL - I can sympathise you about not sleeping. Thing is, that is when I hear God and his will, when I pray at 3am. More receptive then, somehow... pray for peace and understanding, that He may reveal his will to you...

CD - hope you're feeling better soon, too!

Praying that everything is well with Katzg and her family

mrsgee · 01/02/2007 13:24

hi, i know i havnt posted on here for a longgggggggggggggggggggggg time {blush}
was just wondering if i could ask for some prayers. dh and i are in debate about whether to have another child or not,it would make it number 3. i am now at the point of loosing sleep about it. i know this is trivial to some but i really want to have Gods peace about the situation. feel bit cheeky asking

CaptainDippy · 01/02/2007 14:17

Glad you are feeling a bit better after your rest Mary - I am crap at being ill too, so completely sympathise. [hugs] Hoepy ou continue to feel better-er......

Hello mrsgee!!! Sooooo good to "see" you again sweetie - Not cheeky at all! Will pray for wisdom and clarity for you and your DH as you decided whether to go for No 3 or not (how old are your other two?)- Too late for me, I'm afraid - already 28 weeks through!!

mrsgee · 01/02/2007 18:43

Hi Captain Dippy, other 2 are nearly 4 and 17 months!! seem to be surrounded by pregnant women who are on 3rd and new born babies! congrats to you, just not ready to say no more, i know we dont have to decide now but if dh says definate no i need to get my head round it. saw you passed your driving test well done, ive just lost use of my car so back to walking everywhere, but suppose it gets rid of christmas weight.

Hi PandaG

Thanks for asking if Im still here. Sorry havn't been on for while, i've been very busy and havn't really had much of a chance to come back and say Hi. Not much of an excuse I know, as I know you all are really busy and find time.

My girls have all had some horrible flu type bug, which I have now caught (of course!!)

I do hope you are all well, I will read through the thread to catch up with how everyone is doing.

Still Keeping you all in my prayers.

PandaG · 07/02/2007 10:45
