Oh so pleased , do you feel better today?? Hows dd?? Did you get the powders. I left a message for you on your other thread? My dd has just had another tooth come right through overnight, although it did cut 2days ago.

Had a late night again , had our 1st dinner party in over a year last night. Went to bed at 1:30, slept a little better but still woke up a few times.

Going back to sacred chat. Youll never beleieve it , but one of my friends brought me flowers and they were ORANGE tulips!!! With some purple thistles to , which look nice but are a bit spikey, not good fung shui!!Was so taken aback. Although not fan of tulips for some strange reason!!

Shall we share moderator position???. Although I think Helbels is far more knowledgable than I am !!!

I would really like to see us all share the moderators job.

ah, thanks. That clears up the mystery. Haven't read the book though. I have a friend who would really like to join you - she is very into spiritual matters and that has affected her life in both good and bad ways. I have told her about mumsnet but don't think she posts.

Without sounding flippant, I admire anyone for seriously embarking on a spiritual journey while their children are young. I've earmarked my late 50s and 60s as the time I get more spiritual - more time on my hands to explore my feelings and look outside myself and my family and help others. Hopefully my brain and body will be active enough for this to happen.

Hope that everyone had a good weekend. We explored the great outdoors, which was a welcome change from the city.

Juniper I recall you talking about going to a spiritualist meeting? I went to a christian healing meeting once and felt quite uneasy as I felt alot of energy and could see dark energy moving around the ceiling. Have you ever had anything like this?

Helsbels - I did the reiki on dd - she was sleeping. I put my hand above her head - had been laying it on her chest but was not feeling anything - and around her head there was alot of energy. Felt like my hand was caressing her aura and I could not bring it any closer. Thanks for your help.
The excema is looking abit better and she had had another dose from the homeopath.
Taking her to the Doctor today just to make sure she is ok as she is not settling well in the day to nap and still waking loads at night.

Papillon, she was asleep - I was sending healing to you as I did not know your dd's name - I was sending it as if you were feeding her and imaging the energy going to her that way - it was very calm. Let me know if you want to go for it again perhaps early afternoon on a Saturday or something? Send me her name and I'll try direct or can do it through you again.

it's good to hear that reiki is helping your dd papillon I tried to do some healing on my ds2 last night.

I went to see the spiritualist last night. Quite a few people got messages but I didn't feel that easy to be honest. He hasn't been doing it that long so maybe it was his lack of confidence I was picking up on. I wish mam had received one from my sister but no joy. I did feel a tuggin on the top of my hair though, very gently but definite.

Juniper, bear in mind that 'open' spiritualist meetings are like the proverbial Picadilly Circus - crowded and noisy (from a spirit point of view). Very few people will ever get messages this way.

Also IME it is best not to go to a meeting 'wanting' a message - spirit can be stubborn too and will come when you least expect it. Those who get the messages tend to be those at greatest need of help or reassurance.

Some spirits might not even hang around long enough to communicate. Some are destined for a higher plane and trying to communicate with them, or wishing for them to contact you, can actually delay them on their journey.

thanks for that snugs. I've been to a few meetings at a spiritualist church and didn't expect a reading, didn't get one either but I was glad for the people who did. It's a nice enviroment though and I much prefer it to the 'evenings' with spiritualists as no one is getting paid for one thing.

Sorry by the way if I am telling you things you already know. I don't know who has what experience IYSWIM.

papillon - I find christian healing meetings a bit strange. IME so many (hard-line) christians berate me for my beliefs but then, hypocritically, attend a healing session. How can it be wrong for me to do it, but ok for them?
