We were having this discussion after mass this morning.

My favourite is Agnus Dei.
When sung in church it lifts my heart. Beautiful

I the Lord of sea and sky
Shine Jesus Shine
Colours of Day
Oh Jesus I have Promised (but only to the right tune)

I have a playlist of hymns on spotify, I think it is the playlist I listen to most often

How could I forget? My all time favourite is off course Blessed Assurance.

I'm glad to hear that BlessedAssurance as I start singing it in my head when I read your name!

I love:
Shout to The Lord
Blessed be your name
Beautiful saviour
And 5 year old DS loves Let everything that has breath :-)

I am Catholic but one of my favorites is by C of E vicar Percy Dearmer "God is love, his the care" I love the chorus.

Sing aloud, loud, loud!
Sing aloud, loud, loud!
God is good, God is truth,
God is beauty, Praise Him!

(Preferably with a pounding organ - opps oo-er missus!)

Mine is Happy Day. We don't really do traditional hymns at our church unless someone is being baptised and has requested it.
