But yours is well 'ard, tamum. Grin
I think zippi hit the nail on the head down the thread somewhere. Verbiage is one word for it.

tamum · 29/03/2006 14:44

Why thenk you Pruni :o. Actually, I fear it is nowhere near as "hard" as maths, say or physics. A bit girly, you know. Actually, I think science PhDs are probably way easier- most people see their supervisors pretty much every day, whereas Arts students seem to manage on once a term quite often. Plus with science the supervisor will mostly have to have got funding in place already, so the gist of it will be planned out.

Mosschops30 · 29/03/2006 14:46

Can someone please tell me what the hell this thread is all about, have been lurking for days and cannot fathom it out!

motherinferior · 29/03/2006 14:47

Yours is definitely girly, tamum, you deal with girly things like breast cancer and sometimes people, too.

The ability to write clearly, and accessibly, is a lot rarer than many people assume.

Pruni · 29/03/2006 14:49

I second that, MI Envy.

tamum · 29/03/2006 14:49

Very true.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 29/03/2006 14:49

Am PMSL at this thread! Has his Eminence posted on here yet?

CarolinaMoon · 29/03/2006 17:28

Dingle · 29/03/2006 17:58

Blandmum · 29/03/2006 18:00

DC was talking about his wife

What I would like to see is DC having a discussion with PD.

I'd sell popcorn Smile

moondog · 29/03/2006 18:01

Dingle · 29/03/2006 18:03

Ahhh..well it could be the ex of who I thought it was then....or it could all just be a spooky coincidence!Grin

GeorginaA · 29/03/2006 18:06

Tee hee ... I have a degree in astrophysics... and I can go days at a time without being able to string a coherent sentence together. Not sure whether that proves or disproves the theory really...

zippitippitoes · 29/03/2006 18:10

mb they did both appear on a thread I started which I was to busy to follow through

Mosschops30 · 29/03/2006 18:50

is this one of those cliquey ones where if you're not in the club you get ignored?

zippitippitoes · 29/03/2006 18:54

no mosschops, have you not come across dc ?

Tinker · 29/03/2006 19:00

He/she has a lot to say on BBC Talking Point.

notasheep · 29/03/2006 19:52

I DID ask DC how he found time for such posts, but he didnt answer my question!
So i have been ignored then

notasheep · 29/03/2006 19:52

He ought to have an appearance on Newsnight

Pruni · 29/03/2006 20:01

Jezza would have him for breakfast

popsycalindisguise · 29/03/2006 20:07

i went to school with a dominic connor

also seen him pop up on a few other sites too

chipmonkey · 29/03/2006 20:49

Have to admit he gave a link to his website which is www.pauldominic.com and I looked it up and in my girly Irish catholic(OK ex-catholicGrin) way looked up www.dominicpaul.com in error and got \link{http://www.dominicpaul.com\this cutie}! I puzzled over it for about 3 days, really wondering where he found the time!

zippitippitoes · 29/03/2006 20:54

lol I went to this one by mistake \link{http://www.connortrinneer.com/2005_london.htm\ thinking}

SleepyJess · 29/03/2006 20:59
