Ok I'm off to bed now. God bless you all and for Aillidh - may the Lord bless you and keep you, this night and always.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 06/07/2012 01:12

Northernlurker and hathor between you, you have prompted me to say what I have been thinking for hours. I hope it's OK.
I am sitting looking at a photo of one of my best friends who died 2 weeks ago.
He was a farmer who I always thought of as a rock, he was described as an oak during the service we had for him.
I've been thinking get up there and round up those darling angels and keep them cosy.
He lost a daughter, and I've been imagining him with Billie and Mia and Lily Grace, in his tractor, making them laugh and sing, for Aillidh.
I don't have a God, or pray, but he did/does, so I'm sending him to keep watch while we all sleep. xxx

Going off to bed with Aillidh, expat, family and friends still on my mind.

Hoping, hoping, hoping that A is resting and healing and that tomorrow brings brighter news with many, many more mornings to come for her.

sharklet · 06/07/2012 01:28

Holding onto prayers for Aillidh, Expat and her family. Bless you all, keep strong.

ohfuschia · 06/07/2012 01:31

Sending love to Ailidh xxxx

HesterBurnitall · 06/07/2012 01:43

Zero, you're not abandoning them, just conserving your strength. The night shift logs on from all the corners of the world where Aillidh has touched someone's heart. They're held firm night and day.

cupofteaplease · 06/07/2012 01:49

I've just woken to attend to my own dd, and my first thoughts were of Aillidh so I just wanted to log and say I'm still praying hard x

CliffBarnsby · 06/07/2012 01:53

Still thinking of Expat, Aillidh and family.

ZacharyQuack · 06/07/2012 01:56

Bewitched, that's lovely image of a father taking care of the little girls.

Aillidh, expat and family, I hope you have a peaceful night and are comforted by the love you share and that surrounds you.

bizzey · 06/07/2012 01:58

monkeychambers · 06/07/2012 03:07

Giraffes, thank you, still praying here at every waking moment. Love to all. Xx

Iteotwawki · 06/07/2012 03:12

Virtual candle lit (they would be a little annoyed if I lit a real one half way through a 5h operation - am at work) but given my very medical surroundings, Aillidh and her family are never far from my thoughts.

Be strong while you can - and when you can't, relax and let our strength carry you forwards. Love, light and life A.

xxxx

MrsJohnMurphy · 06/07/2012 03:13

Thanks for the update Giraffes, you all must be exhausted, can't imagine the reality Expat faces everyday. It was bad enough in the hospice with my Mum, never mind with a child. I used to go and curl up into a ball in the toilet when it all got too much Blush.

Hope Aillidh has a peaceful night, take care all of you and look after yourselves, really hope to awaken to more hopeful news.

Caramelia · 06/07/2012 03:17

Thank you for the update, giraffes. Keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers. So glad you have a nice nurse on duty tonight. xx

Wheredidmyyouthgo · 06/07/2012 03:28
