Aillidh update: slight improvement in xray. Bronchoscope and lavage done. She is comfortable and sedated. Plan is to leave her on vent a few days and find out what is going on inside her lungs with results of bronchoscope/lavage. Please, please keep praying. Your prayers, thoughts, vibes and anything are keeping her and us going. We are buoyed by everyone's strength and hope. Her grandmother is here now and her maternal grandparents will be here on Monday.

I've been following this, and praying hard even though I don't know Alilidh's story. A small improvement is good news, I just hope it continues. Many hugs to all the family.

I remember sending her kids presents way back before Alilidh was poorly so I was bloody shocked and gutted when I heard how ill she was.
My heart goes out to her and the family.
Your children are so very precious and it must be so painful for her to watch her child go through this.
Expat does not deserve this pain. I'm sending all the healing vibes I can x

giraffes I remember from previous convos that I live v near you. Please please can you let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do to ease the load a wee bit.

Something that's really worrying me is that I recall another MNer (and I am so sorry I can't remember her name whose LO has just been diagnosed with leukaemia in the last few weeks. I can't find the thread and I just wanted to make sure that she was ok as this is a terrifying ordeal for any parent to witness, let alone one with the same diagnosis if you see what I'm trying (not very well) to say. Just wanted to send her my love and prayers as well....
