Acute Myeloid Leukaemia - Aillidh's Search For A Donor
Aillidh update: slight improvement in xray. Bronchoscope and lavage done. She is comfortable and sedated. Plan is to leave her on vent a few days and find out what is going on inside her lungs with results of bronchoscope/lavage. Please, please keep praying. Your prayers, thoughts, vibes and anything are keeping her and us going. We are buoyed by everyone's strength and hope. Her grandmother is here now and her maternal grandparents will be here on Monday.

Sorry if I've derailed things. I just wanted to make sure I was sending to the most recent/appropriate account. It is a gift to be spent as giraffes and/or Aillidh's foly feel is most appropriate, no strings attached, just wanted to make sure I was sending it to the best place x

Can I just clarify that either account is fine.

It is probably a good thing to have two accounts on the go - paypal have a tendency to lock accounts when they hit certain limits and it can cause problems so spreading the funds means there would still be immediate access to at least some money, iyswim.

And for those who don't know me and think I am some random stranger, I have been around since 2001, I just don't visit much now my kids are older.

I keep revisiting this thread, and she's in my thoughts, but as I've no idea how her name should sound, there's kind of an awkwardness to it all, iyswim?

Could someone help me out please, so it rolls off my mental tongue correctly?

Giraffes and StG thank you so much for this. It makes those of us feeling completely inept as if we're doing something to give Expat a practical boost as well as sending all of our love and good thoughts to Aillidh.

I took my little one for her first jabs this morning. I found that pretty traumatic - I can't even begin to quantify what Aillidh and her family are going through.

Keep strong all of you and feel us all standing with you.
