0141 334 4377 is the number for an m&s (in Crow Road?) 10 minutes away from Yorkhill hospital if anyone with more information wants to give it a try.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 29/06/2012 11:11

Ok, I'm just about to email m&s, does anyone have any objections to me linking this thread?

QuickLookBusy · 29/06/2012 11:12

Me too My, I can't stop thinking of Aillidh.

Nearly a year ago my best friend was in the same situation with her DD. She didn't make it but I pray Allidh does. The things some children and parents have to go through is just too awful.

catclarks · 29/06/2012 11:14

It's Yorkhill hospital, and the oncology ward is Schiehallion . There is a Sainsburys, Morrisons and M&S food store close by

chipping · 29/06/2012 11:14

Sending positive thoughts. Keep fighting x

I would like to send some money via paypal, if someone could pm details, thanks.

WandaDoff · 29/06/2012 11:15

There is a M&S food & a Sainsbury at Crow rd.

comewwhinewithme · 29/06/2012 11:38

Have pp the ebay money in my account it wasnt much but I hope it helps.
Expat was so kind to me on a couple of threads, I always remember her amazing advice when my dd was being bullied.
I also know the utter despair you feel sat at your childs bedside, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

psychomum5 · 29/06/2012 11:38

within all your so very generous donations, please can we add in giraffes. She won;t say so, but I am sure that she is spending out of her own money for them for food, petrol, parking etc. plus, she is being so fabulous and giving her up time just to be there to hold their hands and give them all her love...and she has masses of it.

I know for a fact none of you will mind, but I want giraffes to not feel any guilt about using money to fill her car up to be able to get there. or just on STUFF.

I know pyschomum she is an absolute gem :)

I am thinking of the expat family today and wishing them all the best for their lovely little fighter x

SoupDragon · 29/06/2012 11:40

As far as I am concerned any donation is for the benefit of the family - and Giraffe is benefiting the family in a big way.

northernmonkey · 29/06/2012 11:41

Yes yes please.
I did say in my donation to also give something to giraffes.
Its the least we could do

LemonBreeland · 29/06/2012 11:42

Totally agree Psycho! The money can help Giraffes help the expats.

StateofConfusion · 29/06/2012 11:42

Has there been any Aillidh updates today? This threads moving so fast.

I'm in awe of mumsnet at times like this.

StealthPolarBear · 29/06/2012 11:42

I've sent a smll donation with exactly that message - for costs expat or she herself are incurring. It's all with the same ultimate goal. And if we could be there doing what she is we would. We can't, so the least we can do is contribute to her financial costs. The physical, emotional and costs in terms of time are all being borne by her.
