I am at hosp with aillidh who on vent. Sitting with her. She looks peaceful and calm. Sats are good. X

people wanting to send....hold off on fabric items and snugglies. From what I read A has MANY and they need to be washed super hot for infection reasons. I am not sure what she will be allowed to have in PICU either TBH. From what Giraffes says, Expat has lost weight and so needs easy, tempting, nutritious snacks.

from my thoughts, there are two very bewildered small children, her sister and brother, who have had their world ripped up. maybe they can be remembered in the sending stuff....I hope I am not speaking out of turn, but as much as my heart is with Aillidh, I cannot stop thinking of her siblings. it is such a crappy cruel wicked disease.

Aillidh has been on my mind all night, I'm checking in frequently for updates.

It's good to be able do to something practical - I feel so useless miles away,just sending vibes. Small thngs that we can send, may just manage to ease the burden slightly for expat and be a physical manifestation of our thoughts.
